Is there a software for InDesign that will translate my english text into spanish text

I have InDesign files in English text. Is there a software that will translate text into Spanish?
Thanks,
Sharon

It's well worth paying someone who knows both languages well to do the translating.
With software translation, at best, you get a rough translation. At worst, (especially when you can't read the language you are translating to), you could get something like this:

  • Is there any third party software for itunes that will do this:

Is there any third party software for itunes that will organize the browser window. Ideally I would like the third browser window (album name) organized by "main albums" "compilations" "bootlegs" "singles"
It would look like this for the Beatles
    Main
    1963 Please Please Me
    1965 Help
    etc.
    Compilations
    1970 Red Album
    1990 Greatest Hits
    etc.
    Bootlegs
    1985 Ultratrax 1
    etc.
    CD Singles
    1999 Whatever
This info would be marked on either the info or option tab when labeling.
If this has not been made, one of you nerds should make it, it would be great and you could charge $3 for it and I buy it. and so would 100,000 other people.

If you haven't already, try looking through the Apple Downloads specifically for iTunes.
    http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/ipod_itunes/
There might be something there that is at least similar to the app your looking for.
edit: There is one shareware that is an iTunes plugin called Multi-tunes. With it you can create multiple iTunes libraries, one library called "Main" one called "Bootlegs" etc, and Multi-Tunes will allow you to quickly switch between them from within the iTunes window. Not exactly what your looking for but close.

  • Is there a setting for mail that will allow me to delete emails on the Iphone without being deleted from the mail server? I have Yahoo mail.

Is there a setting in Iphone mail that will allow me delete emails on the Iphone without deleting the emil from the mail server? I want to be able to download the email to other devices.  I am using Yahoo mail.

I did not mean actually editing in the PDF, but just copying the text out of the PDF and pasting into indd... or Word.. .or anything. Regardless, just wondering if there was a way to avoid those line breaks.

  • Is there an addon for bookmarks that will open a desktop image?

    Hello,
I would like store a link to an image on my win 7 desktop in my firefox bookmarks.
I would like it to open it either in windows or mozilla firefox.
It will be used to call annotated screen shots saved from a screenshot addon that allows you to download your annotated screenshot/capture.
This is for the privacy factor when researching on the web.
Is there an addon or someone who can relate to my experience?
    Thank you very much.
    Sincerely,
    jpeek345

You can open the image file in Firefox via File > Open file or by dragging the file in a Firefox tab, possibly on empty space on the tab bar or the new tab (+) button.
Then you can click the star on the Navigation Toolbar to bookmark the link if that is what you want to achieve.
Click the star a second time to move it to another folder.

  • Is there any software for iTunes that allows the user to adjust tint, color and hue?

I would like to view my videos with the ability to fine tune color (hue, tint and color) for playback,  Any one know a easy quick fix?

Thank You Keith for responding. I am asware of the options in the drop down list in iTunes "Show in Finder" to use OT and its options to adjust tint, color, contrast etc, etc., I was more interested if the same thing can be can done in iTunes it's self? Do you know of a plugin or a simple script that might help me?  ( I do not know apple script very well but if it is well written i can fallow instructions pretty good.)

  • Is there a case for iPad that will allow the leather cover to stay on for uk

I bought the iPad Retina display 16gb for a neighbour and added a leather cover  for it. I had already bought her husband an iPad in November and bought the Smart case polyurethane. I mistakenly thought the leather cover was just the same as a case, but of course it's only the front that is protected.
Does anybody know of a good UK case/wallet type case that she can use with the cover attached, so that when's shes travellimng the whole unit is protected.
It must of course be thick enough to accommodate the iPad and leather front cover.
    Can anyone help pleae?

    Help. Same issue.

  • Is there actually any computer cleaning software for Mac that is safe and works?

Is there actually any cleaning software for IMac that issafe and works. Have an early 2008 iMac, have up-graded RAM to 6GB.

    How to maintain a Mac
    1. Make redundant backups, keeping at least one off site at all times. One backup is not enough. Don’t back up your backups; all should be made directly from the original data. Don’t rely completely on any single backup method, such as Time Machine. If you get an indication that a backup has failed, don't ignore it.
    2. Keep your software up to date. In the App Store or Software Update preference pane (depending on the OS version), you can configure automatic notifications of updates to OS X and other Mac App Store products. Some third-party applications from other sources have a similar feature, if you don’t mind letting them phone home. Otherwise you have to check yourself on a regular basis.
Keeping up to date is especially important for complex software that modifies the operating system, such as device drivers. Before installing any Apple update, you must check that all such modifications that you use are compatible. Incompatibility with third-party software is by far the most common cause of trouble with system updates.
    3. Don't install crapware, such as “themes,” "haxies," “add-ons,” “toolbars,” “enhancers," “optimizers,” “accelerators,” "boosters," “extenders,” “cleaners,” "doctors," "tune-ups," “defragmenters,” “firewalls,” "barriers," “guardians,” “defenders,” “protectors,” most “plugins,” commercial "virus scanners,” "disk tools," or "utilities." With very few exceptions, such stuff is useless or worse than useless. Above all, avoid any software that purports to change the look and feel of the user interface.
It's not much of an exaggeration to say that the whole "utility" software industry for the Mac is a fraud on consumers. The most extreme examples are the "CleanMyMac" and “MacKeeper” scams.
As a rule, the only software you should install is that which directly enables you to do the things you use a computer for, and doesn't change the way other software works.
Safari extensions, and perhaps the equivalent for other web browsers, are a partial exception to the above rule. Most are safe, and they're easy to get rid of if they don't work. Some may cause the browser to crash or otherwise malfunction.  Some are malicious. Use with caution, and install only well-known extensions from relatively trustworthy sources, such as the Safari Extensions Gallery.
Never install any third-party software unless you know how to uninstall it. Otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
    4. Don't install bad, conflicting, or unnecessary fonts. Whenever you install new fonts, use the validation feature of the built-in Font Book application to make sure the fonts aren't defective and don't conflict with each other or with others that you already have. See the built-in help and this support article for instructions. Deactivate or remove fonts that you don't really need to speed up application launching.
    5. Beware of malware. Malware is malicious software that circulates on the Internet. This kind of attack on OS X used to be so rare that it was hardly a concern, but it's now increasingly common, and increasingly dangerous.
There is some built-in protection against downloading malware, but you can’t rely on it — the attackers are always at least one day ahead of the defense. You can’t rely on third-party protection either. What you can rely on is common-sense awareness — not paranoia, which only makes you more vulnerable.
Never install software from an untrustworthy or unknown source. If in doubt, do some research. Any website that prompts you to install a “codec” or “plugin” that comes from the same site, or an unknown site, is untrustworthy. Software with a corporate brand, such as Adobe Flash Player, must come directly from the developer's website. No intermediary is acceptable, and don’t trust links unless you know how to parse them. Any file that is automatically downloaded from the web, without your having requested it, should go straight into the Trash. A web page that tells you that your computer has a “virus,” or that anything else is wrong with it, is a scam.
In OS X 10.7.5 or later, downloaded applications and Installer packages that have not been digitally signed by a developer registered with Apple are blocked from loading by default. The block can be overridden, but think carefully before you do so.
Because of recurring security issues in Java, it’s best to disable it in your web browsers, if it’s installed. Few websites have Java content nowadays, so you won’t be missing much. This action is mandatory if you’re running any version of OS X older than 10.6.8 with the latest Java update. Note: Java has nothing to do with JavaScript, despite the similar names. Don't install Java unless you're sure you need it. Most people don't.
    6. Don't fill up your boot volume. A common mistake is adding more and more large files to your home folder until you start to get warnings that you're out of space, which may be followed in short order by a boot failure. This is more prone to happen on the newer Macs that come with an internal SSD instead of the traditional hard drive. The drive can be very nearly full before you become aware of the problem.
While it's not true that you should or must keep any particular percentage of space free, you should monitor your storage use and make sure you're not in immediate danger of using it up. According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of free space on the startup volume for normal operation.
If storage space is running low, use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper to explore the volume and find out what's taking up the most space. Move seldom-used large files to secondary storage.
    7. Relax, don’t do it. Besides the above, no routine maintenance is necessary or beneficial for the vast majority of users; specifically not “cleaning caches,” “zapping the PRAM,” "resetting the SMC," “rebuilding the directory,” "defragmenting the drive," “running periodic scripts,” “dumping logs,” "deleting temp files," “scanning for viruses,” "purging memory," "checking for bad blocks," "testing the hardware," or “repairing permissions.” Such measures are either completely pointless or are useful only for solving problems, not for prevention.
To use a Mac effectively, you have to free yourself from the Windows mindset that every computer needs regular downtime maintenance such as "defragging" and "registry cleaning." Those concepts do not apply to the Mac platform. A computing device should not be a focus of your attention. It should be an almost invisible tool by means of which you communicate, work, and play. If you want a machine that is always whining for your attention like a neurotic dog, use a PC.
The very height of futility is running an expensive third-party application called “Disk Warrior” when nothing is wrong, or even when something is wrong and you have backups, which you must have. Disk Warrior is a data-salvage tool, not a maintenance tool, and you will never need it if your backups are adequate. Don’t waste money on it or anything like it.

I am looking for a map app that will allow me to place pins where my clients offices are on a map and keep them save every time I open the app. Does anyone out there know of an app that will do this?

    "Motion 5" is your friend.
Michael Wohl has a nice 15 video series (free) about Motion 5 at http://www.macprovideo.com/tutorial/motion5101-overview-and-workflow-guide (right side)
This is a "teaser" series to sell his tutorials but it is really good. Just saw it yesterday for the first time.
While all you want is just to place pins, realize that Motion has so much more. All kinds of effects and they can be really customized. Maybe put their street address, contact name, and phone number by the pin?
Motion 5: cheap at $49.99 (just got my download two days ago)
    Motion 5: Support Community athttps://discussions.apple.com/community/professional_applications/motion_5
If you're using the map for, say, deliveries, and use an iPad, what you could do is have a general map of the area imported into Motion, create the pins and whatever, then save (share?) it to the iPad.
Disclaimer: I have virtually no relationship with anything connected with this tutorial product, developer, or anything.

  • Will there be an update in Pages for ipad that will allow for sub scripts and superscripts

I am a chemistry professor who loves to work on the ipad. The problem I have is that the mathematics I use and chemical equations is use in my writings need both super scripts and subscripts. I would love to use my ipad for this, but presently, the only way I can do this is with a third party app that allows me to create the formulas and the paste them in the document I am working on. Will there be an update to Pages for ipad that will allow subscripts and super scripts. I would love to move away from my Office 2010, but the support is not there yet.

We cannot speculate about future Apple products. We know no more about this than you do at this time.
You can suggest it to Apple at Apple Feedback.

    Thank you for your attention

Apple needs to test the carrier if they offer LTE as expected.
If your country/carrier is not on the list then there's no LTE on your iPhone.

It's between the your carrier and Apple. There's nothing you can do except feedback to Apple:

  • Is there a wi-fi analyzer app for ios7 that will display the channels on my wireless modem and the strength of these channels.  I would like to select the channel with the least amount of traffic.

I Would like to use my iPad to view traffic and strength on the channels supported by my wireless modem.  Android has apps of this nature.  I cannot find one on the App Store.  I tried all the free apps and read descriptions for the paid apps.  I don't think it is there.  Is there a wi-fi analyzer that will work on my iPad air?  Ios7.

I'm looking for a channel number indication, too.  I had an app that would do that (WiFiFoFum) but it stopped working a year or two ago and I've been borrowing people with Androids.   It's getting to be annoying now!
I looked at appshopper.com but couldn't find a wi-fi analyser there - is there one?
Otherwise, I suppose it's jailbreak the iphone and have a look elsewhere.

  • Is there any software for macbook to recover a deleted file?

Is there any software for macbook to recover a deleted file?

    Hope & prayer?
Whatever it is you end up using, it is IMPERATIVE you stop using the Mac until the rescue is completed. The more the drive gets modified, the greater the chance that the storage area the deleted file used to occupy will get written over, thereby making rescue impossible.

  • Looking for app that will allow me to control my iphone from my desktop

Looking for app that will allow me to control my iphone from my desktop.  I would like to be able to send text messages, etc from my computer instead of using my iphone.  I don't want to jailbreak my phone.  Does anyone know of app like this?
    Thank you,
    Scott

Windows or Mac?  You can at least send iMessages from a Mac with Mountain Lion installed.
There are apps that let you do the reverse (control the computer from the phone).  I don't know of any that let you go the other way.  It would be kind of cool if we could do this though.  But, I suppose it could open up a Pandora's box of security problems for the phone itself.  Just imagine somebody hacking into your phone remotely and using it without your permission....
