Is there a version of Internet Explorer which is compatible with Mountain Lion?

I found my answer.  The latest version of Internet Explorer for Mac is still a POWER PC APP and therefore will not run on Mountain Lion.  I just tried it an indeed I received the message that 'power pc apps no longer run on Mac OS 10.8.   FINI

  • Is there a version of Internet Explorer that i can run on Leopard?

    i have a MacBook with Leopard installed on it. I do not have Windows XP running on it and i really do not want to install it, unless i have to.
    i tried using SharePoint on Internet and editing Excel on it but it either requires Windows XP installed or Internet Explorer running on my Mac OS. I can not find anything on Microsoft WebSite about it.
    Is there a version of Internet Explorer that runs on Leopard and where can i find it?
    Thanks

    Wow, this is fantastic --- This ies4osx actually simulates Internet Explorer 6 and for the first time ever I am able to get into my institution's computer system which only allow Internet Explorer 6 or 7.
    This program works only with Mac with Intel processors. You must download a program, Darwine from the same site that offers ies4osx.

  • Which is the latest iPhoto version compatible with Mountain Lion ?

    Please, which is the latest iPhoto version compatible with Mountain Lion?
    I just updated my OS X to 10.8.5 and still have iPhoto '11 v9.2.3. I have been unable to find if there is a newer compatible version of iPhoto; while I know that iPhoto 9.5.1 is incompatible with Mountain Lion.

    Do you know where I can get it?
    If you have a version of iPhoto '11 installed, try the updater, that Terence Devlin linked to. If you do not already own a version iphoto '11, buy an installer disk from for iLife '11 from Amazon or eBay. You cannot download a full installer for free, only updates.

  • I can't report a problem. It states I must have the latest version of Internet Explorer, which I have Explorer 8.  Seems to be some kind of glitch.

    I can't report a problem with a song on iTunes recently.  It states that I must have the latest version of Internet Explorer.  Which I do - Explorer 8.  What's the glitch?

    The Report a Problem within iTunes frequently seems to have problems. Go here:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
    and follow the instructions to report the issue with the song to the iTunes Store.

  • Version 9.1.8 compatible with Mountain Lion Really?

    I keep reading conflicting information about the compatibility issue.
    If 10.8.3 isn't going to work, should I roll back and if so, to what version.
    I could not find an answer on this forum, it's probably there . . .

    Regarding compatibility issues L9 under Mountain Lion, and of course this depends strongly on your setup too, but if straight forward, make sure all your drivers are up to date, there are no issues other then one can expect with any OS!
    Cheers

  • Is there an automated way to check if my MAC Pro is compatible with Mountain Lion?

    I am trying to upgrade my OS to Mauntain Lion after reading all of the requirements, but when i click on purchase, it is telling me that my system is not compatible. Is there a way to automatically confirm compatibility?

    It seems you already did that but to verify the App Store's diagnosis is actually correct, type in your Mac Pro's serial number here: https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do
    To find its serial number: Mac Pro: How to find the serial number
    You can copy the serial number from About This Mac > More Info... and paste it in the above page's serial number field. Mountain Lion requires an early 2008 or newer Mac Pro. That would be a MacPro3,1 or later.

  • Can I continue to use Fusion to run my PC version of Quicken 2006 after I upgrade to Mountain Lion? I'm currently on Snow Leopard.

    I am considering upgrading my OS on my 2008 iMac from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion. However, I use Fusion to run my PC version of Quicken 2006 and have heard that I will no longer be able to do that. Any suggestions?

    You can continue using it without any problem. However, check that you are running a VMware Fusion version that it's compatible with Mountain Lion (VMware Fusion 4 and 5 are compatible with Mountain Lion). If you upgrade and you want to use a non-compatible version, you will see kernel panics.
    Also, make a backup before upgrading, although everything should work properly after upgrading to Mountain Lion

  • Report on which computers have which version of Internet Explorer?

    Hi, Does anyone know of a simple report or way of reporting on which computers have which version of Internet Explorer?
    e.g. I expect to mostly find 7, but checking also for 6 & 8).
    As its integrated into the OS this isn't as easy to determine as with other products installed. I know there are simple manual check like "Help About" and HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
    Thanks.

    Hi
    Torsten is rigth, the reigstry path does contain version information (and other usefull information). You can get the information by:
    Adding this entry to the configuration.mof file:
    #pragma deleteclass("IE", NOFAIL)
    [DYNPROPS]
    Class IE
    [key] string KeyName;
    String MkEnabled;
    String Version;
    String Build;
    String W2kVersion;
    Uint32 IntegratedBrowser;
    [DYNPROPS]
    Instance of IE
    keyname="SystemCenter.fr";
    [PropertyContext("Local|HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Internet Explorer|MkEnabled"),Dynamic,Provider("RegPropProv")] MkEnabled;
    [PropertyContext("Local|HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Internet Explorer|Version"),Dynamic,Provider("RegPropProv")] Version;
    [PropertyContext("Local|HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Internet Explorer|Build"),Dynamic,Provider("RegPropProv")] Build;
    [PropertyContext("Local|HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Internet Explorer|W2kVersion"),Dynamic,Provider("RegPropProv")] W2kVersion;
    [PropertyContext("Local|HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Internet Explorer|IntegratedBrowser"),Dynamic,Provider("RegPropProv")] IntegratedBrowser;
    And enter this information into the SMS_def.mof file
    #pragma namespace ("\\\\.\\root\\cimv2\\SMS")
    #pragma deleteclass("IE", NOFAIL)
    [SMS_Report(TRUE),SMS_Group_Name("IE"),SMS_Class_ID("IE|IE|1.0")]
    Class IE: SMS_Class_Template
    [SMS_Report(TRUE),key] string KeyName;
    [SMS_Report(TRUE)] String MkEnabled;
    [SMS_Report(TRUE)] String Version;
    [SMS_Report(TRUE)] String Build;
    [SMS_Report(TRUE)] String W2kVersion;

    which is the best suitable version of internet explorer for windows 7 ultimate 32 bit

    Hi,
    Yes, Internet Explorer 11 is now available for Windows 7. It's the latest version of Internet Explorer for Windows 7. It's more smooth, stable and fast.
    IF you have some incompatible website, you also could use compatible view to load.
    Fix site display problems with Compatibility View

    Your UserAgent string in Firefox is messed up by another program that you installed.
    [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_Agent]
    type '''about:config''' in the URL bar and hit Enter <br />
    ''If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access that page.'' <br />
    Filter = '''general.useragent.extra.firefox''' <br />
    Right-click that preference and select '''Reset''' <br />
    Then restart Firefox

  • Error: This dialog requires using the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer 7.0 or newer

    Since upgrading Internet Explorer to version 11 this error occurs when attempting to navigate a business related website: "This dialog requires using the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer 7.0 or newer".  Using an
    XP machine, there is no issue.  Using any Windows 7 machine and Internet Explorer 11 the error consistently occurs.
    Most solutions reference this: .NET Framework problems with Internet Explorer 11 http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn338133.aspx.  The solution is to create the registry key
    EnableIEHosting, and references an issue with .NET 4
    The problem description and solution fit my current issue, but when I create the new registry key (in both locations), the same issue is happening.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Most solutions
    suggest you try Compatibility view (for IE7 Quirks mode emulation) or the Developer Tools, Emulation tab for something else.  (F12, Ctrl-8).
    The problem is that the site is not designed to handle a modern browser and then its default is, when it can't recognize a User-Agent string, to assume the worst:  No capabilities.
