    The phone will automatically re-appear when it connects to the Internet. However, don't get your hopes up, as thieves know this & will make sure your phone never re-connects so you can locate it.

    Vatlily,
    Try this:
    1. Select Mail>File>New Message.
    2. Select Mail>Window>Address Panel.
    3. Use (command+click) on the desired addressees in the Address Panel to create the list.
    4. Click "To:" on the top left of the Address Panel.
    The group that you selected will be added to the "To" field in your New Message.

  • Is there a way to check if the rechargeable battery is the original?  I have a feeling mine has been swapped out...

    I have a feeling my rechargeable battery pack was secretly swapped out by another user (whose battery had died) - left for vacation working computer, returned from vacation battery not charging.  Is there any way to check (serial number, etc.) what battery came with the purchased computer?  Any help would be appreciated.

    No, but you could check to see if the battery installed has about the same amount of charge cycles if you were paying attention to that number.

  • Is there any way to check if the Cisco IP Phone 7970 is idle?

    In my application I need to check if a phone is idle. If it is idle I'll send it a message, if it is not, I'll send a different message.
    Is there any way to do that?
    Thanks for help.

    CTI comes to mind first.
    Then there's the modeinfo url that allows you to get an xml representation from what's on the screen.. that normally should do the trick as well (http://forums.cisco.com/eforum/servlet/NetProf?page=netprof&forum=IP%20Communications%20and%20Video&topic=IP%20Phone%20Services%20for%20Developers&CommCmd=MB%3Fcmd%3Ddisplay_location%26location%3D.1ddb6101)
    If you only need to send something in case the phone is idle, there's a simple trick: send an ExecuteItem with prio 2.. it'll only be shown if the phone is idle.

  • Is there a way to check if the touch screen and display works whilst iPod is apart?

    Hi,
    I pulled my iPod Touch 4G apart up to the circuit board in order to pull out the headphone socket.
    Before I pulled it apart, the screen was cracked but everything was perfectly visible and the touch function worked perfectly.
    Because the screen was cracked, when I pulled the iPod apart, I obviously lost small chunks of the screen.
    Now when I plug the two plugs from the LCD screen into the circuit board and put the iPod together without screws, it looks like this:
    http://s251.photobucket.com/user/matt9210/media/2013-06-19014523_zps86e6bc6e.jpg .html
    So I'm not sure whether buying a new screen is the answer, because I'm worried it will still have the same effect on the new screen.
    Another question: The headphone socket wasn't working. I had to hold the earphones in order to get any sound, and knocking them would lose the sound. I checked with other earphones before opening the iPod, so it's a problem with the iPod. What do I do with the headphone socket to avoid this problem?
    Also, is this good enough to replace the iPod screen? A lot cheaper than I thought, thought I'd check what the catch is.

  • Is there a way to delete on the iPhone (meaning from left to right)

    Similar to the way you would use the delete button on a PC is there a way to use that same function when drafting messages on the iPhone?
    TIA,

    Sorry, no.  You need to move the cursor and then use the backspace key.  Note that you can tap and hold the text to zoom in and move the cursor.

  • I updated Lightroom 4 yesterday and it won't download my photos. Is there some way to check if the camera supported?

    I updated Lightroom 4 yesterday and it won't download my photos. Is there someway to check if it supports a Nikon Cool pix P6800?

    Here is the list of what version of Adobe software you need, at a minimum, to work with each camera they support:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html
    I am not familiar with a Coolpix P6800.  A P7800 requires LR 5.3 or higher, so wouldn’t work with LR 4.  There is an S6800 that was announced 4 months ago that I don’t see produces raw files to be supported or not by LR.

  • Is there a way to check if the smart card is a JavaCard

    Hi,
    This may sound very basic, but I am not sure how would i tell if the card is a JavaCard or not, provided i do not have any keys
    Do you guys have any solution :)
    Thanks
    AQ

    So i understand the ATR is not that helpful, but anyways this is the ATR
    ATR : 3B 9F 95 80 1F C3 80 31 E0 73 FE 21 1B 64 06 90 62 00 82 90 00 32
    There are no ascii characters so i understand nothing useful here, but only anyone can identify the card based on experience.
    The Select method sounds reasonable, and i tried it and it returns me 6A87 (Lc inconsistent with P1 P2)
    So its not GP compliant atleast
    One more thing I need to ask. what is ISD ? An applet or an ADF ?
    Thanks again guys

  • Is there any way to check rc.conf without restarting the machine?

    Hi everybody,
    I've VPS running with Arch. It was preinstalled with very, very old versiol so I've upgraded everything, updated rc.conf by hand but still never restarted completely. So my question is - is there any way to check that the server will boot up without issues? Is there any way to check that rc.conf is completely valid?

    peets, thanks! It seems to be ok at this point.
    tomk, understood... Well, I'll paste it here maybe somebody could look throught for some possible incompability problems from old version:
    LOCALE="en_US.utf8"
    HARDWARECLOCK="localtime"
    TIMEZONE="Europe/Vilnius"
    KEYMAP="us"
    CONSOLEFONT=
    CONSOLEMAP=
    USECOLOR="yes"
    MOD_AUTOLOAD="yes"
    MOD_BLACKLIST=()
    MODULES=()
    USELVM="no"
    HOSTNAME="server"
    DAEMONS=(syslog-ng network netfs crond sshd nginx mysqld @postfix php-fpm @svnse
    rve @pure-ftpd)
    lo="lo 127.0.0.1"
    INTERFACES=( "lo" "venet0" "venet0_0" )
    venet0="venet0 127.0.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.255 broadcast 0.0.0.0"
    rt_venet0="-net 191.255.255.1 netmask 255.255.255.255 dev venet0"
    rt_default="default gw 191.255.255.1"
    ROUTES=( "rt_venet0" "rt_default" )
    venet0_0="venet0:0 79.98.27.163 netmask 255.255.255.255 broadcast 0.0.0.0"
    The most important is to bring networking up after restart :-) last lines from "lo=..." is from old rc.conf so I'm not sure if this is compatible with newest Arch.
    Thank you for help, guys!

    Is there a way to check model of iPhone by serial # or IMEI #
    I'm dying to find out what Apple sent me as my warraty claim, for my iPhone 5. I have heard of many people of late getting the 5s in place of their 5 when they have a warranty claim.

    Hi tbednarczyk34,
    Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.  This article has information to help determine an iPhone's model:

    My folders that my message rules on iCloud divert emails to don't update when I open Mail on my iPad or iPhone. Only the inbox does. I have to click on each folder individually for it to update. A real pain as I have about 30 folders. Is there a way around this ? The folders update on my mac fine when i check mail without having to select each one of them. Can the iPad and iPhone do the same thing?

    My Mac has 4 mail accounts coming into it, but you are correct, one of them is a POP account, (and unfortunately it is the main @ account, and is the one associated with my apple id, since we've had it for years).  I couldn't figure out how to replace this with the Imap version, short of deleting that account entirely.
    Is this what I have to do?
    Thanks for your help!

    How can I verify that my App data is actually stored in the iCloud. I can see and access my notebook, contacts etc. on the iCloud website, and I can see my photos in a folder on my Windows-based desktop compter (iCloud/Photostream). But no app data.
    With Dropbox, I can actually see all of my stored files. With iCloud, it seems, I'm supposed to just trust that Apple has my back. Short of deliberately trashing my app data and then attempting a restore, is there no way to check the data?

    You can't access them on Windows (unless you have iCloud enabled Windows programs) and I don't think any are, yet.
    iCloud data is accessed via Apps/Programs, the Windows programs vendors will have to step up (just to make it worse Microsoft have not yet enabled their Mac programs, such as Office yet) I doubt that iCloud access is much of a priority for them, complain to MS, when enough Windows users complain maybe they'll do something.

  • Is there any way to check the age of an iphone when buyinga used unit?

    im buying a used iphone off kijiji and the owner said its 4 months old, is ther any way to check this to be fact?

    Unfortunately, no. That link will tell you if the phone has been reported stolen, but it has no way of knowing if the phone has been hacked, either physically or via software.
    The other thing to watch out for is sometimes a shady seller will tell you a serial number that isn't the same as the phone you eventually get.
    A high percentage of iPhones sold over the Internet are hacked or jailbroken, and many of them are also stolen.
