Is there a way to delete emails other than one at a time?

You can select multiple emails at a time for deletion, but there is no option to delete all email from an account's Inbox mailbox at once.
If the account is an IMAP or Exchange account, delete all email from the account's Inbox mailbox with the email client on your computer used for accessing the account or via webmail access for the account using a browser on your computer. All server stored mailboxes with an IMAP or Exchange account are kept synchronized with the server with each email client used to access the account.

i have and can find all duplicates in my library - after i find them is there a way to delete them (in mass) other than deleting one at a time?

The only way they would all come over is if your wife had automatic downloads turned on in her store settings on the phone before she downloaded the apps. A popup for this option also comes up when you first sign into an apple id on the phone in the app store. If she didn't have that setting turned on, she'll have to download them one by one.
She could also try to sync them over from a computer that has itunes on it

  • On 4S how can I delete emails more than one at a time in my Inbox

Just got the iPhone 4S (first ever iPhone for me).  When I have emails in my Inbox and I want to delete them is there a way to delete more than one at a time?  I know when I go to the Trash it lets me "delete all".  I get quite a bit of emails and it's a huge waste of time to only be able to delete one at a time in the Inbox.

I'm trying to find a way of clicking one box/area and it deleting all the emails in the Inbox.
It can't be done from the iPhone.  You could use Safari, access your webmail and delete from there, if that's easier.

  • IOS5 has restored over 7000 previously deleted emails to our i-pad. Is there any way of deleting them other than 'edit' and ticking them all off? It'll take days!

iOS5 has restored over 7000 previously deleted emails to our i-pad. At this point, we cannot find a way to mass delete them. Anybody got any ideas?

Problem solved by emptying deleted file on the computer and then deleting and re-installing email accounts on the i-pad.

  • How can I find all exclamation marks in my iTunes without clicking on each song?  Is there a way to delete all instead of one at a time?

How can I find all exclamation marks in my iTunes without clicking on each song?  Can they be deleted all at once instead of one song at a time?

    Lost & Found
Create a playlist called Found, select everything in Music and drag it into the Found playlist (it may take some time to count the tracks that are to be dropped). Create a smart playlist called Lost matching All the rules Playlist is Music and Playlist is not Found. Your lost tracks will be in this playlist.
Optional: It depends a bit on why things aren't where iTunes expects to find them but if they are in sensible Artist & Album folders in some common location then my FindTracks script should be able to reconnect them to iTunes. FindTracks uses some fuzzy matching routines and searches for multiple potential locations. For more details see this thread. Once you have repaired the tracks that can be found you can drag the contents of the Lost playlist into Found which will update things.
Or, you can simply delete all the tracks in the Lost playlist with Ctrl-A to select them and then Shift-Delete to delete.

  • Is there any other way to purchase photos other than one at a time?

    Hi everyone!
I love aperture, and would like to purchase some photos...whenever I click file>order prints, I'm led to order a SINGLE PRINT for just that photo. Does aperture offer like a shopping cart method, where I can check out all at once? i ask this not only for convenience, but also to save money on shipping; it would charge me 2.99 per photo when I could just as easily put em all in the same shipment.
    thanks!

i figured it out, thanks for looking at the question

  • Is there a way to delete emails on one device that will transfer to all my devices so I don't have to delete the same emails off all my devices??

Is there a way to delete emails on one device that will transfer to all my other devices so I don't have to delete the same emails on all my devices?

Go to the mailbox tab in the Mail application and selecting "synchronize iCloud".  Whenever you delete mail from  one of your devices it will automatically delete from the others--within iCloud.

  • Is there a way to delete email from iPhone without deleting on macbook

Is there a way to delete email from the iPhone without deleting it from my macbook?

logging out and logging back in to your email account in the iPhone's Settings will erase all the emails saved in the iPhone (without deleting them from your email server). That way, it will only load again the email when you open it.

  • Is it possible to have my text messages sent to my email as well?  or is there a way to view them other than on the phone?

is it possible to have my text messages sent to my email as well?  or is there a way to view them other than on the phone?

Sure. Go to the conversation that contains the message(s) you wish to forward. Tap the Edit button in the upper right corner. Select the message(s) you wish to forward using the radio buttons. Tap "Forward" at the bottom right of the screen.

  • Is there another way to close apps other than deleting them from the multitask bar.....I have a small crack in the bottom of my screen and that part of the screen does not recognize the touch.  :(

Is there another way to close apps other than deleting them from the multitask bar.....I have a small crack in the bottom of my screen and that part of the screen does not recognize the touch.

There's generally no reason to be closing them that way at all. The apps you see in the recents bar are just that, apps that you used recently. Most of them are doing absolutely nothing. The only apps that are really doing anything in the background are ones that play music and ones that are using location services. Just leave them be.
    Best of luck.

  • I somehow deleted my hard drive.  Is there any way to fix this other than buying a new computer?

I somehow deleted my hard drive.  Is there any way to fix this other than buying a new computer?

    Sure.
If your hard drive is still physically working, simply restore it from your computer's backup.

  • When I import photos taken from my Ipod Touch 4 to My Mac Desktop, I click delete photos on ipod, but they do not delete. Is the only way to delete them individually (I have 1,400 photos!) or is there a way to delete them all in one go?

I realise you can you can delete them on your ipod slowly as you have to click on each one, and you can restore your ipod, but surely there is a way to get around this?
    Software: 4.3.2
    Build Version: 8H7
Thanks If anyone can help me.

Download/install an app is a know possible solution.
    3. Install another app from the App Store
If all user-installed apps are not launching, it could be an Apple ID authorization issue. Download and install an app that isn't already installed on your device to reset this information.
Note: If you have installed apps using multiple Apple ID accounts, you may need to perform this step for each account.

  • Is there a way to play videos other than getting them through itunes

is there a way to play videos other than getting them through itunes.  I have lots of dvd's that I want to play on my ipad but don't want to have to buy them again through itunes.

You'll need to rip the DVDs to your hard drive using a tool such as Handbrake. Be sure to rip them in an iPad compatible format. Then you can drag them into iTunes and sync them to your device. It is a little bit of work but that's really the only way without (as you say) rebuying them in iTunes.

  • I wanted to know how to view the gifts I've sent to people and (if possible) know if they received and downloaded them. Is there any way to do that, other than asking the person?

I wanted to know how to view the gifts I've sent to people and (if possible) know if they received and downloaded them. Is there any way to do that, other than asking the person? Obviously I want the gift to be a surprise (for my best friend specifically) so asking them if they received it would ruin that.

Have you tried resetting your iPod:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  • After using iMatch, I have duplicate music.  Is there any way to remove duplicates other than manually?  Thx

After subscribing to iMatch, I now have duplicate music in iCloud.  Any way to delete duplicates other than manually deleting each one?  Thx.

Hi Jim,  I don't understand how this would help me in my situation.  I loaded an old project, selected the clip edits that I needed, and then loaded the new project and pasted those edits into it, thus creating a duplicate multi-cam sequence.
Are you saying that before I paste, if I navigate to the old project in the media browser and import the multi-cam sequence into my project, Premiere will merge that with the exact same multi-cam sequence in my new project so that when I paste it won't create a duplicate?
