Is there a way to move multiple calendar events at once (as there always has been)?

In all iterations of iCal then Calendar you could move multiple events at once in a number of different ways...
Has anybody found a way to do this in the latest version of Calendar 8.0?

Thanks for that, the hand tool and selector tool were not displayed on the toolbar, but once I had added them via the options then the problem was resolved.

Hello. I have far too many Calendar items every day in my iCal. Until I finally pare them down to a reasonable level, I need to "reschedule" all of my unfinished ToDo items and reminders, to another day, later in the week.
There doesn't seem to be any "Select All" feature available.

Workspaces are stored as XML files in your user profile on Windows or the user library on Mac, in a subfolder called, strangely enough, workspaces.
You may have run afoul of the new "content grabber" in the center of a frame that allows you to move the content without changing tools. Looks sort of like a dounut, or the center spot on some SLR camera focus viewfinders. You'll either love it or hate it, and it can be switched on or off in the View menu.

Your contacts should still be on whatever program you sync your iphone to (i.e. Outlook, address book).
The iphone is not a stand alone device. It is designed to be synced with a computer. If you have not been syncing with a compatible program, then you are out of luck. Your contacts are not included in the back-up because it is meant to be synced with your computer.

No. All you can do if you have Find My Phone setup is erase the device or lock it. It must be connected to Wi-Fi in order for the commands to take effect.

Is there any way to copy a calendar event?

I recently purchased an 8310 Curve to replace my Dell PDA. One function I used extensively on the PDA that I can't find on the Curve is the ability to copy a calendar event and paste it on another date. This feature was very helpful for things such as Dr. appointments or other things that occurred frequently but not on a regular schedule. Copy the previous event, paste it on the next date, edit it for changes in time if necessary, etc. and you are done. As it is, unless I can find a way to do this I can only copy one line of the event, usually the Subject, and paste it into a new event on the proper day. That means having to type in things like location (Dr's office, 123 Apple St., etc.), start and end time if the event isn't right on the hour or doesn't last exactly an hour, category, Notes or comments ("take list of prescriptions", "Leave 20 minutes early due to traffic", etc.)
If anyone knows how to copy an appointment and paste it on a different day I would really appreciate their response. If that functionality doesn't exist I'd like to recommend to RIM that they seriously consider that feature with their next software release.

I just double check and didn't see this option anywhere. You can however copy/paste text on a BlackBerry. I believe the only way would be to copy it in your email client and have the BlackBerry synchronize with it

I currently have about 30 old forms that I am no longer using so I want to clear them from my online account, but I need to keep a copy of the form and responses for audit purposes.
Rather than go through one by one, is there a way I can batch export the design files, and the responses for the 30 forms?

You will need to use OLE on the client, which would further require the use of WebUtil. Here (below) are a couple of MS examples that you would need to convert to pl/sql. There are a variety of Oracle notes which discuss reading and writing to MS Word and Excel. These can likely be used as a starting place to talk to Outlook. I've noticed that depending on the in/out points of an audio clip, the Audio Analysis will calculate based on the segment of the clip that was placed in the timeline. My problem is that my audio clips are very long and have multiple sections that would need to be analyzed again for optimal loudness/uniformity settings. I can't seem to find a way to do a fresh audio analysis on a clip that's already been analyzed, so is there a way to do this? I'm using 10.0.9

Is there a way to see what font was used originally, after the type has been converted to outlines?

Hi all, I would really like to know if there is any way to find out what font was used originally in an Illustrator document, after the type has been converted to outlines? The reason for this is I need to update some wording in a couple of old logos I had made and I have NO idea what font I had used...for the life of me I just cannot remember. Because this was so urgent for one of my projects I had to do a search online via "WhatTheFont" to see what font it could be (which I then didn't seem to have in my library!), and repurchase it. I am 99% sure I HAVE the font - or something VERY close - but under a different name.
Normally I keep a much better record of fonts used but there have been times occasionally in the past when I have done something in a hurry and changed the type to outlines without keeping the original, or keeping detailed notes at least. The fact that I did NOT keep notes on a few projects I have done in the past has made me want to kick myself because now I need to revisit one of those again..grrr:)
Can anyone offer any advice? I appreciate your help as always:)

Yes there is. When you're in the Messages app, swipe your finger across the screen towards the left and the time stamps will appear. When you let go, they go again.

It's very easy to make an action.
Go to window > actions
In the actions panel, simply click the 'create a new action' button, it starts recording as soon as you've created it (when you've given it a name).
Now you can apply the changes you want to make to the images on the file you have opened.
After you've done all you need to do. You click the 'stop' button. The action is now ready to use. And you can apply the changes you made on all the other files.
Then you can continue how gener7 explained.
I usually include a save and close command, so that the whole batch doesn't end up opened after running the script.
But if you do that you have to create a new file, and save it to your computer before you start recording the action, otherwise the save command will be replaced by each file. And you'll end up with one edited file in the end. At least for as far as I know!
