Is there any way to keep the old mail, phone, calendar format and yet switch to IOS7?

Is there anyway to keep our old mail, calendar, and phone format and yet use IOS7? I find the new system so plain that it is difficult to see. I keep missing new emails because the little numbers are so small they barely show up and the plain white screens are so bright they are hard to look at. I would just go back but I really like some of the new features.

The new user interface for iOS7 is just dreadful. I turned down the brightness but the lack of shading or delineation between UI elements makes it difficult to read.
It feels like they're chasing Android.

In 4, the tabs are on top of all of my bookmarks making them harder to access and there wasn't an arrow by the forward/back page buttons that pulled up a list of past pages. this new layout is not user friendly!

There are solutions for those interface issues, but to address your question about keeping the old version, make sure your auto-update is set to ask you before updating you.

I know I am responding to my own thread, but I an SOOOO disgusted with Apple right now.
The new iOS 7 was the lead story on CNN today... and it wasn't positive. Easy to see why, it's a graphics disaster. It is ugly, difficult to read, doesn't interface aesthetically with the iPhone 4S, and gives everyone in America vertigo. Either fix the appearance, or find some way to allow us to roll back to our previous iOS. Do so quickly, or this life-long Apple customer [circa 1978] will be moving on. If this represents shades of what is coming with OS Maverick, I am petrified. Further, I am a GM of a chain of newspapers and websites in the Austin, Texas area. I will be ripping out a scathing editorial. The notion that we can't roll back from something millions of us hate is despicable. I'm giving you one week. Be sure I am not alone.

Originally I thought it was the old Moutain Lion DVD drive issue (but have had the drive recently replaced by Apple), so I tried creating a new account, which worked.

As much as I understand that declined meetings are deleted from the calendar, is there any way to keep them so that I can recall the dates of these meetings, and request updates or summaries? I wish they were grayed out so I could still refer to the data.

There isn't one. When the computer wakes up, the display is on. You could set a screensaver with a dark background to start automatically after a certain amount of idle time, and require a password to unlock it, but you'd still see the bright login window.
It also occurs to me that you might be able to set up a task that would dim the screen automatically at a specified time, and brighten it at another time. If you're interested in that option, I'll look into it when I have the time.

I know that I can keep the unlimited data plan when I upgrade to the iphone 4s, but I would also like to keep my 200 text message plan. Is there any way for me to keep this feature? Also on the original Iphone, I could upgrade to the unlimited data plan with 1500 text messages, if I upgrade this feature, will it extend my contract?

Is anyone else having the same problem with iOS6 on the iPhone 5, where the keyboard changes locations?
I have some apps that are not optimized for the iPhone 5. When I type in these apps, the app is centered on the screen, which raises the keyboard. This is a complete pain the behind, because I am finally used to typing on the new phone.
The voice dictation is nice, but not practical when in the office, subway, or in a noisy public place.
Are there any workarounds until my apps are updated?

In smartforms are there any settings for the printer to directly take the command as A4 format or A3 .
The settings should be defualt so that the printer will print only in the given setting ..

In Smartforms you can change the page format in Form Attributes->Output Option. But the settings in the page or design will change. So first you have to decide in which page format to take printout.

Is there any way to keep the charge indicator bar onscreen in the lock screen in IOS7? And can I keep the call in progress screen up instead of going to wallpaper while a call is dialing?

IOS6 had a charge indicator bar on the lock screen that allowed me to see at a gance how much charge I had. Now it only flashes onscreen when I first connect the charger for about 1-2 seconds. I know the icon in the top right shows percentage, but it is too small to get an accurate look.
Also, when a call is in the progress of dialing my phone just shows the wall paper instead of the whole call control screen. I can hit the home button then hit the return to call bar at the top of the screen to get the control screen, but that is annoying to say the least. If I accidentally dial a number while navigating my contacts or one of the apps it takes several steps to cancell the call before completion.
I know my wallpaper may be pretty, but I don't need to see it while trying to use the phone instead of having control of the phone or seeing desired information (charge indicator).

I have a similar issue. Sound works okay but keep getting the app not optimized, you may experience a decrease in celluar strength. Verizon says it is a software issue. Apple says it is a hardware. Phone will niot synch to itunes to do any kind of reset.

Select the iPod in iTunes then File > Transfer purchases.
If these are not iTunes purchases, simply restore them to iTunes from the backup of your HD.
