Is there any way to mark messages forwarded by a rule with that little "forwarded" arrow?

Normally, after forwarding an email, a little arrows appears next to the message reminding me that the message was forwarded. However, when I set up a rule to forward messages, those little "forwarded" arrows don't show up. Why is this?

I have considered adding a flag as you suggested, but one of the things I really like about the "forwarded" arrow is that, when clicked, it shows me the forwarded message and to whom it was forwarded.
I've also noticed that the same rule, when I select "Apply Rule", does in fact mark those as forwarded with the arrow, but when I click those arrows, it can't find the message. And then, just like before, any new messages that I receive don't get marked. Just seems odd to me. Wish I didn't have to use the flag workaround.

Yes, it will. You cannot merge information on the phone. If you want the old messages, you will need to restore from a backup of the old phone, which will make the new phone look just like the old phone. If you want to save the messages from the new phone, you will not be able to get the messages from the old phone.

The identity object holds a lot of sedative information. First, upon installation of Acrobat, only the login name is available in the identity object and the end user of the application needs to complete the "Name", "email" and "Organization Name" in the application's preferences. Using the instructions in The Acrobat JavaScript Console (Your best friend for developing Acrobat JavaScript) you can run the following script in the JS console to see the items of the identity object:

Yes, you stop using the same Apple ID under Settings > iCloud.

you do not need different apple ID's but you do need different 'received at' address set up in settings
i run several different devices, all under the same ID,and can direct a message or face time to which ever receive at address I want. Note, devices can have and will respond to multiple receive at addresses.

Note, that the texting Apps mentioned above will issue a different phone number to you from whcih your messages will be delivered to your Non Apple recipients. And they in turn will have to sms you to this different number for you to recieve SMS's on your iPad.
