Is there any way to retrieve deleted photos or files after they were trashed.

Is there any way to retrieve photos after you deleted them accidentally????

From your backup. The iCloud backup contains the photos in your Camera Roll:

  • Is there any way to retrieve deleted photos from my iphone 4?

I deleted some pictures i had on my phone for some stupid reason, and i'd love to have them back, i never did any sort of backup.

No, when you restore from a backup your settings and data revert to those contained in the backup.  There isn't a way to selectively save a portion of the backup on your phone while restoring to a newer backup.  The only way to accomplish this would be to try to extract the photos you want from your earlier backup using 3rd party software like iPhone Backup Extractor, and then sync the extracted photos back to your phone using iTunes.
Also, if you do try to restore to your earlier backup, you have to do this carefully or you will overwrite it by automatically syncing.  The process to follow would be:
First confirm that the earlier backup exists by, without connecting your phone to your computer, opening iTunes and going to Preferences.  Here look at the list of available backups.  If you see an earlier one to restore from take note of the name and date of this backup.
On the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically"
Now connect your phone, right-click on its name when it appears on the left sidebar in iTunes and choose Restore from Backup
Select your earler backup to restore from and let the restore process complete
Go back to iTunes Preferences and re-enable automatic syncing if you prefer this

  • Is there any way to retrieve deleted photos if they weren't backed up?

Please please these photos are so important.

I'd be rich, retired, & drinking Margarita's on a beach somewhere, if I got just one dollar for every post, like yours, we get here.
Sorry, there's no supported way to recover your data. You can Google search for "iPhone data recovery software" yourself. None are cheap, & most don't work.

  • PLEASE HELP! Is there any way to retrieve deleted pictures from an iphone5?

Hello, is there any way to retrieve deleted pictures from an iPhone 5?  They are not in my photo stream and I didn't back them up. I need the pictures for an insurance claim so I'm trying to figure out any way to get them retrieved.
Thanks in advance for the help.

I would contact the support team for Supernote if they are not saved in your iTunes account.

Easy.  Connect to your computer and use the backup that had been created by iTunes.

  • HT201250 is there any way to retrieve deleted time machine backups?

is there any way to retrieve deleted time machine backups? it has now deleted the oldest, but most important backup. It was made right before before upgrading to mountain lion. Because I had some issues with placing the files back the way I wanted, I had to connect my hard drive to my mac several times. Result, everytime I did so, a backup was made. Like today, when I was transferring everything from that specific backup. But in the meantime Time Machine made a new backup, deleting the old one I was using.  Ironically, I lost everything while I was transferring the files back to my mac. Please give me good news.

Once the external hard drive that you use for Time machine deleted its oldest backup and overwrote it, the ability to retrieve those files disappeared.  They are gone for good.
    Hope this helps

  • Iphone 3 dropped in salt water. Appears non-functional - won't turn on. Nothing on SIM card -- had that checked. Is there ANY way to retrieve the photos and contacts. There is no backup of them.

leave the phone in rice for >24 hours to see if it will recover
you can check itunes as well to see if there are backups there from the top of the screen hit edit (itunes on mac) > preferences > devices , and see if a backup is listed
also check icloud.com to see if you had any of the information backed up there (only possible if have have a 3gs or higher)
also there are data recovery companies that can recover data even from wrecked hard drives but its not cheap, if your interested in that I would say lookup a company called drivesavers, I believe they are authorized to work on even in warranty iphones
    good luck

  • Is there any way to retrieve deleted texts messages from KIN TWO M?

is there any way to retrieve deleted texts messages on KIN TWO M?

Unfortunately, no, not unless you had them backed up somewhere (like with bitpim software).  Once the texts are deleted from the phone, they're gone.

  • Is there a way to retrieve deleted photos in iPhoto?

I imported photos from my camera into iPhoto.  In edit mode I deleted many images by mistake.  Is there any way to retrieve these images?

Do you have Time Machine and did it make a backup before you deleted the photos?  If so you can open iPhoto and use the iPhotoh  ➙ Browse Backups menu option to search a previous version of the library and restore the deleted photos.
If you don't have a TM option you can use MediaRECOVER to recover the photos from the media card.  It will let you run it in demo mode to verify it can recover the photos before you have to purchase it.

  • Is there any way whatsoever to delete photos synced from iTunes?

This is something that constently frustrates me and I've never found a solution for it. I can delete music, videos, apps, etc etc etc from the phone to reclaim storage space, but is there no way in **** to delete photos synced through iTunes? It's bothered me before in the past, so I stopped syncing albums to my phone, but recently I had synced my albums of photos from my wedding to my iPhone so that I could show some family and didn't realize how much space it was going to take up. The entire weekend I could not remove them to download apps, music, videos or anything.
Is there any way at all to remove them? Via iFunbox,  or some sort of "reset" option in Settings, or any other means?

What you ask is pretty basic. Uncheck the Sync Photos from option in iTunes and click Apply
Assuming your device is not modified/hacked/jailbroken in any way/shape/form

  • HT3302 is there any way to retrieve data ( photos) in particular from an IPOD TOUCH 4 if it has not been backed up??

is there any way to retrieve data from an IPOD TOUCH 4 if the device has never been backed up to a computer??

Only if you used PhotoStream then try getting them (photos only) from your PhotoStream. See that topic of:

  • I accidentally synced my iPhone 4 to another account before I had the chance to back up my files, is there any way to retrieve the photos that were on my iPhone?

I had an iPhone 4 that got stolen and just got a new one, so after I had taken important photos I plugged the phone into iTunes and it accidentally restored to my old iPhone data and uploaded all that information, deleting the new photos before I had a chance to back them up. I don't suppose there is any way of retrieving this lost data?

If these are photos that were synced to your phone, the only way to extract them from your phone is third-party software, like this:

  • My iPhone 5c is dead, is there any way to retrieve my photos?

My phone suddenly died, and wouldn't switch on or charge. The back-light was on, but no colour/image/symbol. As a result I took it in to Apple and they pronounced my phone dead . Now it won't switch on or anything, regardless of whether I charge it or not. I'm still in the current process of mourning for my loss.
However, I never synced my phone to iTunes or iCloud. Is there any way, no matter the cost, that I could retrieve my images? (they're of my family and little brother, and lots of special moments in the past year). Is there any hardware inside that could be placed into an alternate iPhone that could restore my data? I have no idea myself so maybe I can get help here.
    Any help is appreciated x

Apple have since offered me a replacement so I do have a phone now - (it's strange how they didn't take the old phone back, but perhaps it was because they had to run through my service providers that originally gave me the phone and they'll have to catch up with me now)It's just unfortunate that I've lost those photos, but then again, I should have backed them up. I share an iCloud account so that put me off using it but I'll be sure to have everything backed up from this point forwards. I was just unlucky and naive enough to think my phone would forever be fine. Ahh well, looking at the situation from another perspective, I have a whole lifetime ahead to take photos and preserve memories. Others have it much worse and I guess I should be grateful.
So yup, shame on me indeed :/
Thank you for clarifying my issues though. I'll ensure my saved images are stored in the new iPhone too.

  • Is there any way to recover deleted photos, etc after a sync?  iTunes didn'

let me say I hate that Apple software tends to give a button to push w/o options or other vital information. It's an example of making things too simple.
I synced my new iPhone with the older iPhone it replaced - not knowing it would delete everything off the old phone. I'm most wanting my photos back. I've tried downloading 3rd party data-recovery software, but it never seems to find the iPhone like it finds external cards or cameras.
Please, Please, is there some app that will work to recover deleted photos? And I think I will never trust Apple software again!

I synced my new iPhone with the older iPhone it replaced - not knowing it would delete everything off the old phone.
It is not possible to sync one iPhone with another.
You can transfer the backup for an older or existing iPhone to a new iPhone but doing so does not touch or delete anything off the older or existing iPhone. There is no device limit for the number of iPhones that can be synced with the same iTunes library and iTunes account on the same computer and each iPhone can have its own sync preferences with iTunes. Syncing one iPhone with iTunes does not touch any data on another iPhone.
Photos in the iPhone's Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera. Photos in the Camera Roll are not touched during the iTunes sync process except for being included with the iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process. The only way to delete all photos from the iPhone's Camera Roll is by using the iPhone's Erase All Content and Settings option, or by restoring the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup. If you restore the iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup, the photos that were in the Camera Roll would be restored along with all other data that is included with the backup.
Syncing one iPhone with iTunes does not touch any data on another iPhone that is synced with iTunes on the same computer and it is impossible to sync one iPhone direct with another iPhone.
