Is there more than one "Previous recipients" file?

Ancient addresses long deleted from my address book continue to populate emails.
I have done the Window --> Previous recipients thing. (I really have!) The ancient addresses are not there to delete!
I'm wondering if there is more than one "Previous recipients" file?

OK. So these phantom email addresses belonged to you and not other people. Correct? Yes
Were they aliases to accounts you still have or were they old accounts you have since deleted? Explain what the phantom addresses were. These addresses belong to a POP account I have through work. I've used a couple of different addresses: e.g. roberta@ or redowney@ but the domain name has not changed. I'm going to see if the addresses are on my employer's server. Stay tuned.
Have you checked Messages and FaceTime to see if those addresses are listed there? Just checked - not there.
If you have an iPhone or iPad, when you start a new message, do these phantom addresses appear in the list? If so, do they have a circle i icon to the right of the address? If so, click the icon and delete it from there. Nope - do not appear.
These addresses are really old - like two or three years since I last used.

Look into using the Loader class to load the swf files. If you want to have it happen in different frames then you can put the code into the different frames.

Is there more than one way to strip clean a HD before reloading OSX 10.6.8 operating system

I've had my MacBook's HD emptied and OSX reinstalled twice now in a few weeks by a Mac "reseller" there is no one in the store that has a full knowledge`of mac's they have the orange herd drive that i've seen in Mac shop's, they have the opperating systems to load.
both times it's taken only a few moments to "empty" the hole hard drive, it takes longer to empty 10 items in finder / Secure Impty Trash than empty the HD
the last reinstall i saw that there 22GB used on the HD there must be things getting stuck in the HD some how and becoming part of the reinstall.
Can anybody tell me, so i can tell them ( in the store ) how to go about getting a clean HD ready to reinnstall OSX 10.6.8 with out the things that must be hidden so they become part of the new install

No. The computer can no longer see the files once the Directory has been erased. The only way to access them is from a data recovery method which involves scanning the entire disk and listing these files by examining them - an extremely slow process. I can't say wht you are having the issues you are, but the erase method isn't likely to be the cause - though if you are concerned you could follow the method I gave above for doing a fuller erase, just to satisfy your mind. It may be that the disk itself is beginning to fail. You could download SMART Reporter which can look for possible indications of impeding failure:

One payment ID has more than one payment medium file by Vendor

Running DME engine currently creates one payment medium file but inside the lines haaving dulicates under the same payment method and same vendor.
How to collect them in a payment medium file under one payment method?

I found this in the oracle docs:

this is where it confuses me actually. I also thought about 2 nodes writing to 2 online log. But when I was querying gv$log, I saw 4 CURRENT entries.

Is there more than one version of 9300?

I'm thinking of buying a 9300 but am confused:
Are there two versions, one that supports 3G on bands 850 / 1900 / 2100 and a second that handles AWS band IV (900 / 1700 / 2100)? Or is there only one version and it can handle both?
IF there is one version, then I presume that I can buy any 9300 and put in a SIM to use with the new AWS carriers in Canada (e.g. WIND, Mobilicity).
If there are two versions, does anyone know how to tell them apart?
(I am aware that the 9330 operates on different bands, only).

I took a look at those links. The only thing that sticks out is that one has a conventional hard drive and the other has a hybrid drive with a built-in cache. I think the model with the conventional drive also has a 16GB m.2 SSD as a separate cache.
The tccbook (Western Europe) might be of some help. If I'm interpreting the ++ at the end of the model #'s, that's where the "UK" would go. If that's the case, you can find further specs here: ThinkPad Tablets and Convertibles (W.E.)
According to that, the differences are that the 20CD000M++ has a conventional HDD + a small cache SSD, where the 20CD00AJ++ has a hybrid drive. The AJ also includes a Mini-HDMI to VGA Cable.
I admit to guessing a bit at this, so please double-check with the vendor if you can.

My Address Book file has many, many contacts listed. My problem is that when I sync my iPhone with my desktop, all of the contacts go to the iPhone, even though I don't want them all in the phone. No, you can't have multiple Address Book files. You could create another User account on your Mac and use the Address Book in that account to hold the contacts you don't want synced to your phone. Another option would be use another application such as SBook to sync your contacts with it, then delete all the contacts you would sync with your phone from SBook and keep the ones you don't want synced in SBook.

Is there there more than one lame birthday card template somewhere?

New to iMac. We have Pages not Office. Daughter needs to make a birthday card. "Daddy, can you show me how to do it on the MAC?" Sure honey, Its probably just like you did on the old computer. WRONG! "Daddy, is that the only birthday card they have? That's lame" Yes sweety, it is.
Is ther a place where I can get some more templates? preferrably some that are twice folded cards so they don't need an 8.5" envelope

Although you posted this in the iWork for iOS forum, it appears that you actually have the desktop version, so I'll answer in that context.
It looks to me like Pages includes two lame birthday card templates. In addition, Pages can usually open templates for Microsoft Word. A Google search brings up lots of templates availlable on the web; most of them are probably lame.
All a template is, really, is a formatted document. If it is the right size, the lame content or lack of variety don't matter because you aren't supposed to keep that content; it's just a placeholder for something original of your own.

PS Touch - is there more than one?

I love this app. for my iPad. However I don't intend to buy a subscription at this time. I'm sure many of the forum posters would like to have their questions answered, but alas, it seems that Mr. Guido is our only source of support, information and answers currently. Why are there more than one tabs open all the time and how do I change that? I just had to do a reinstall of Windows-tech installed the newest Firefox. There are always at least 2 tabs open and I get an error msg. when trying to close. Tammie

How to compile more than one .cpp file?

Hi Folks!
I'm really need help. Stuck with the simple thing: I need to compile more than one source code file into .SWC.
It's fine with a single file typing:
g++ source1.cpp -swc -o mylib.swc
when I try to use
g++ source1.cpp source2.cpp -swc -o mylib.swc
source1.cpp is ignored, and source2.cpp is used.
As result I'm getting error in SWF:
Undefined sym: _main
    at cmodule.mylib::CLibInit/init()
    at test_fla::MainTimeline/frame1()
Because source1.cpp skipped.

I digged it.
Just created makefile with lines
all:
    g++ -c source1.cpp -o source1.o
    g++ -c source2.cpp -o source2.o
    g++ -swc -o mylib.swc source1.o source2.o;
and run make.
in docs I found that I can pass more than one .cpp file, but it won't work for Alchemy. However, if we compile .cpp one by one into .o files we can then link them together.

Importing From Excel file will not import assignments correctly where there are more than one assignment per task

I am trying to import an excel file ... see below. It appears if you select both Tasks and Assignments tables it will not allow you to do this, says file is not in a project recognized format. So I import Tasks tab first then run the
wizard again and import the assignments tab while selecting merge with project option. This works with one exception:
If there are more than one assignment per task. It does not merge in the 2nd assignment, only the first.
Is there a way to import a task with 2 or more assignments?
Background
To figure out what the format for the file needed to be, I started with a MPP file and from project saved as Excel and selected the "Project Template" file. Now I am trying to import that XLS to see how it works

I did a quick test using your example although I didn't include the Predecessor or Outline Level fields to keep things a little simpler. I imported the Excel data into a new Project file with a single import of task and assignment data. It is very important
to set up the Excel Workbook correctly. On Sheet 1 I entered the task data (Name, Duration, Start). I did not include the ID or finish date as that is redundant - Project generates its own ID and will calculate the finish date based on the start date and duration.
On Sheet 2 I entered the assignment data basically just as you show it except I didn't include the Units.
The data imported as expected.

Can you have more than one Edge Animate "project" on a website? I'm getting messages that there is already a file with the same name and I'm asked if I want to replace it?!?!

I've created more than one Edge Animate "Object" for the website, but can't seem to get them both to load into Dreamweaver. Is it possible to have more than one "Object" on a site?

I think you are using the same Composition Class on both project. On the properties tab, you can change this number (e.g.: EDGE-1637270).
