Is this HD compatible with my 'puter?

Hey all!
In the spirit of absolute paranoia, is this drive compatible with my Power Mac G5 2.0GHzer? I won't be setting it up in a RAID, just another drive to throw stuff on.
Thanks a bunch in advance!
Michael

Hello! The drive will work fine with your G5. Tom

Will this be compatible with a HP ENVY H8 1520t with the motherboard, and work! Mostly becuase i got a r9 270x and i hooked it up and i got no dysplay.

Card should work fine. Just disable secure boot before installing new card. Then again if the card is fully compatible with UEFI and system. You can just pop it in and it should fire up. Worst case it does not and you have to put old card back in. Then disable secure boot and put new card back in. Also. Since it is a CTO build. Power supply wise. If you picked the 460w or 600w psu. It will work just fine. The 300w though is completely out though.

Mac OS X 10.7 requires an Intel i3, i5, i7, Core 2 Duo and 2 GB ram...to download you need to call Apple at 1-800-MY-APPLE and pay $20 for a download code for the Mac App Store.

A better solution is to try a number of better, free alternatives. Consider
    LibreOffice (donation-supported)
    NeoOffice (free)
    OpenOffice (free)
I use Apple's Pages ($19.99) as well as OpenOffice and have been completely Microsoft - free for over a year now. Life is better without Microsoft.

I have Adobe CS4 Photoshop for Windows (PN 65015634 - from 2008) -- Can anyone let me know if this is compatible with Windows 7??
    Many and sincere thanks!!

You need to have your computer looked at for upgrading and evaluate your third party hardware, software and files.
To fix your issue is too complicated and lengthy to go into all of it here, it will require the services of person very familiar and experienced with Mac's to first recover your data and then restore OS X back to a functional state which may or may not require new hardware/software installed.
You can hire the services of a local Mac computer support technician experienced in these matters.
Have them look at your Wifi security/speed, RAM amount, extra storage and computer backup proceedures in the process.
    Good Luck.

I am running Mac OSX 10.10 -- is this system compatible with CS3?

Simplest is to move to Creative Cloud. You could buy CS6 but there is no upgrade path. You’ll have to pay full price and you’ll already be two full versions out of date.

  • I have ipod nano with 7 generation and I would buy a Polar Wearlink   Transmitter Nike  Plus to view heart beats . Is this product compatible with nano?

I have ipod nano with 7 generation and I would buy a Polar Wearlink + Transmitter Nike+ Plus to view heart beats . Is this product compatible with nano?

I have the same issue! I purchased a nano 6th, polar hrm so I could run and receive spoken feedback when my heart rate was outside my preset zone.  My suunto t3 used to beep when outside the preset zones.  Automatic, periodic beeps or spoken feedback is the most important information to receive during exercise. I hope apple can update the software to add this simple yet critical feature.

  • Is this 9800PRO compatible with my MotherBoard?

I need your advice to help figure out my problem so i wouldn't simply waste the money on this graphic card.
    This is my current rig....
    MSI Intel 865P NEO
    Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 2.60GHz
    DDR400 1GB
    Western digital 160GB and 80GB
    Enlight 420W
The System Requirements for GECUBE RADEON 9800 PRO 128MB is
A 300 watt power supply or greater is recommended.
    Processor: Intel® Pentium® 4, AMD® Athlon® or higher with AGP 8X (0.8v), 4X (1.5V) or Universal AGP 3.0 bus configuration (8X/4X)
    Memory: 128MB or above.
    Operating Systems: Windows® XP/2000/Me
What I worry is the line that I have highlight. What is the meaning of the AGP 8X (0.8v)? How do I know my rig is with this 0.8v? I need to figure out this first before I get my hand on this graphic card because I afraid the graphic card will burn because of my Motherboard.
And one more thing, if this graphic card compatible with my current rig, does my rig can utilize this graphic card 100%?
    P/S: I don’t play overclock.
    Thanks for reading.

  • Is this HDD compatible with my T60 2623-A24?

    Hi everyone!
I'm wondering if this ThinkPad 250GB 7200 rpm FDE Serial ATA Hard Drive
(http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/web/LenovoPortal/en_US/catalog.workflow:item.detail?...) offered at the Lenovo website is compatible with my Lenovo T60 Model 2623-A24?
I want to upgrade my current HDD to a higher capacity HDD & it'll be nice to throw in the FDE features.
    Please advise me accordingly.
    Thanks!
    Konker

Maximum warranty that any HD manufacturer was offering was 5 years by Seagate, however even that has stopped as of this year. Now it's 3 years, as is with the majority of other HD manufacturers.
I have a Seagate 320GB/7200rpm in my T60p and love it.
    Cheers,

  • Is this speaker compatible with iPod Touch 4th gen?

    Hi,
As above, is the Sony ICF-C7iP compatible with the 4th Gen iPod touch? Have had a quick look through and can't see this already mentioned, apologies if already posted.

ios 7 is simply the operating system. Anything such as pictures facetime everything else involved with your apps etc, will still be compatible between the two devices.

  • Is this SSD compatible with my macbook pro

    Hello Freinds,
I am planning to upgrade my macbook's hard-disk with SSD.
my Macbook pro model: MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2011)
    SSD I am planning to buy :: http://www.flipkart.com/samsung-840-series-250-gb-ssd-internal-hard-drive-mz-7td 250bw/p/itmdhwymgyx2htcn?pid=IHDDHWYAFRSNG8GB&ref=9d81c0fa-f452-4314-a68d-3e061a a99184&srno=t_1&otracker=from-search&query=ssd
Can anyone confirm me that this ssd will be compatible with my macbook.

i can't confirm or deny but im leaning towards the no side. Formating is a big issue. it sayd that its is compatible for Win7 and 8 but windows is formated for NTFS and macs can only read on NTFS. Do some more research but i hope i pointed your research.

  • Is this computer compatible with this power supply?

I was just wondering how I can tell what power supply is compatible with my motherboard? I am considering on going to bestbuy and buying a better power supply for the use of a graphics card
    my new computer is a Gateway - Desktop / Intel® Core™ i3 Processor / 8GB Memory / 1TB Hard Drive
    Model: DX4840-03E | SKU: 9973838
and I have an XFX PVT98GYAF3 GeForce 9800 GT 512MB 256-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
so i don't know what to get on terms of a power supply, and what is compatible with my computer. I live close enough to the Bestbuy in Moline, Illinois. So I want to get one instore not order one online

I am willing to bet that the current PSU in your computer would support the GPU you are wanting to install on the computer. That GPU is not as power-hungry as a top-end card, so won't utilize too much power.
I honestly would recommend installing the GPU first prior to spending money on a PSU you may not need. If the computer seems to not be working, you should be able to install the corsair 650w PSU into your computer without many complications -- however I would talk to a local Geek Squad Counter-intelligence agent prior to purchasing the product.
