I have read a great article from Mike Chambers:

think the solution works fine in PC environment, but I need to
develop a similar C# application with embedded flash player which
runs on WinCE environment(including Pocket PC and SmartPhone). My
questions are:
1. Is it possible to develop the C# application with
embedded flash player on WinCE environment?
2. If question 1 is possible, how can I install the
"Macromedia Flash Player ActiveX control for PPC" into my Visual
Studio .NET on PC environment for development?
3. Can the "Flash Player for Pocket PC Distribution Kit"

You cannot do this natively - .NET does not natively support
AX controls.
You can achieve this with CFCOM

or with OpenCF.NET
http://www.opennetcf.org/ .
OpenCF is free.
Alternatively, it is possible to build your own COM wrapper
using C++ but I
don't know how to achieve this.

This is possible to be connected to WiFi but not internet.
You connect to your modem/router via WiFi and whether it is connected to the internet or configured properly to route the internet to WiFi devices is a different story.
Now if you've already reset your WiFi (try disabling and enabling) and perhaps even restarting your MBP
Then make sure that your modem/router is connected to the internet.
You can try any other device, lights on the modem/router or use Eth cable to test.
Report back your findings.

I try to call a RFC on a remote R/3 System over the XI Server in a Java Application with SAP Java Connector.
I have configured a RFC Sender Adapter in XI. I get the
following Exception:
"lookup of alternativeServiceIdentifier via CPA-cache failed for channel 'SenderChannel_RFC"!
Is this scenario possible? Or do the connection from
a SAP Java Connector App to the XI RFC Adapter not work?
You can't set the Client and System ID of a Third-Party or
Standalone Java system in the SLD.

Hi,
We use a JCO for directly connecting to sap systems.
In that case we need not use any XI also.
But if you want to use RFC adapter and java application the best way is to use java proxies as sender and reciever as RFC adapter.
I donot think there is any architectural significance in using rfc adapter of XI while using JCO.
Let me know if I mis-understood the context.

The "TDMS Open" node does more than open a file handle, it will load meta data (including file/group/channels' properties) and create index structures in ram for fast accessing any raw data in TDMS file. Thus, my advice is:
1) You can save the efforts to write sub-VIs to preload properties of a TDMS file at least, since they are already kept in memory after the file is opened.
2) Since index structures are presented, the performance to read data of any part in a tdms file will not be affected by the file size and the read performance might already satisfy your application. You can have a try.

Is it possible to build a reliable application with the flash datagrid ???

Next problem in my non-stop nightmare using a flash datagrid to build an application
I have a datagrid in my movieclip.
Under Windows, if I select a row of the datagrid in read-only mode, let's say row 10 on screen, if I then switch the Windows active window (that means the datagrid looses the focus) and come back to my datagrid, the selected row is kept. OK !
BUT, if I select a row in edit mode, let's says row 10, if I change the focused Windows window and then come back to my DataGrid, the selected row is now the first visible row on page ! If I then click outside my Flash application and then back into my Flash application, I get a crash: error #1009:Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
The error message is very short. It seems to focus manager tries to access a TextField property but, which one ? No details, no function name in the error message.
So:
- how to avoid this "change active row when loosing / getting focus" in edit mode of datagrid ?
- how to have more details in the error ? Are there "details levels" in Flash error management ?

Is this possible - AEBS 5.0 GHz N with aiport express as 2.4 GHz G

Hi - here is my situation.
Airport extreme base station plugged into cable modem, broadcasting at the 5.0GHz wireless N. This powers my macbook and Apple TV.
In my bedroom I want to put an Airport Express. This is completely wireless, it will not hardwire into the extreme. I need to use this for my printer, iphone, and airtunes.
Basically what I need to know - is it possible for this adapter to pick up the 5.0GHz signal from the extreme, and then send out a 2.4GHz G based signal that my iphone will be able to pick up in the house?

No that will not work. If the AirPort Express (AX) is configured to operate at 5 GHz to pick up the signal from the AEBS the AX can NOT supply a 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g signal. The AX does NOT allow simultaneous operation in the 2 different frequency ranges.
The only way to make this work is to run Ethernet from the AEBS to the AX.

You can also do this with Automator and Calendar.
You would create an Automator application that creates a new mail message (with the text and attachments you specify) and then sends it.
Then you create the event in Calendar (at the time when you want the e-mail sent). For the alert for the event, you specify “open file (at time of event)” and choose the application as the file.

Commercial applications seems impossible with Stratus

Unfortunately, that means there is no way to create commercial applications with Stratus, as the connection between the endpoints is directly.
Online license checks (in case of a commercial application) by the server seems not possible then, also data handling (except multimedia) is not possible via a server.
Isn't there a way for Adobe to fix this issue???

GarageBand can open only one project at a time. Project are treated differently from audio files; you can have many audio files open in QuickTime or other audio players, but GarageBand will always close the current project when you open a new one.
If you have the newest GarageBand 10.0 and the previous version, GarageBand '11, version 6.0.5, you can open one project in GarageBand 10.0 and one project in GarageBand '11.
However, you cannot drag and top between the windows or transfer media. And once a project has been converted to GarageBand 10 format, it can no longer be opened by GarageBand '11.
