Is Web-Services the only way to trigger Workflow on Time-Based conditions?

Here is the requirement:
When a Custom Object's record is set to a specific status and it hasn't been modified in 7 days an email should be sent to the owner to notify them to update the record.
Any thoughts on how we can do this?

Tim, I would recommend that you post this question on the CRM On Demand Integration Development forum. Also, some of our On Demand partners are capable of creating this functionality with web services.

    Every time I click on a web site that has an email option the browser starts making untitled web pages and never stops unless I turn the computer off.     Because when you try to create a web service in NB4.1, you will straight away get an message in the New Web Service window:

    Hi! So I haven't used iTunes in a few months but I just got an iTunes gift card and want to make a purchase. iTunes redeemed it just fine but now that I want to make a purchase I am having problems. I can't remember my security question answers and iTunes is requesting them. I have two other verified emails but the are NOT rescue emails. I can't contact iTunes over the phone because my phone lines are out and are going to be out for a long time. The only way I can contact them is by email. How can I do this? Is there an easy way to just reset all my security questions? Please help a girl out. I just want my music!

  • Is the only way to get your money back for unauthorised purchases to go thru the lengthy email customer support process?

    I want my money back and I want it now. Why doesn't apple have a phone number for urgent account problems? i got an overdrawn fee from my bank, I checked the transactions and found apple iTunes charged me 11 times in one day with the total amount being over $170.00!!!!! The only purchases I made that day were a few $1.29 inapp purchases. How do I get my money back??? And why don't they have a phone number you can contact. This is an urgent problem because not only have they charged me over $170 & Ive got a $30 overdrawn fee there are MORE transactions from apple on my bank account that are "pending". These transactions are of a similar amount & they are not for anything I have purchased! i have been forced to cancel my credit card to stop apple from doing anymore but I want my money back!

    As Bob says, any iMap service can do this. GMail can, iCLoud mail can too.
    Both of these can be used with Mail on any device.

    You must restore it, losing anything you have failed to backup or store on your computer or cloud service.

    Today, my FCC complaint hit the same person working on the BBB complaint.  Jimmie has been very nice and seems willing to work with this problem.  We have been able to come to an agreement.  I paid the purchase price for the phone and he returned my upgrade and unlimited data plan.  This is what would have occurred if Verizon had given me correct information to begin with.  I am happy with this result.  He also brought quite a few instances concerning the handling of my transfer and upgrade that did not follow proper procedure.  I am also confident that I would not have resolved this without complaining to BBB and or FCC.  Verizon had no interest in solving the problem nor did they show any propensity to keeping a 20 year client.  Even though this last CSR was very polite and helpful, his sole job is to respond to formal Federal and State complaints.  He is required by law to address every complaint and report the reporting agency the agreed upon results - good or bad.  Again, I suggest - If you are not getting the proper customer service, complain to someone outside of Verizon.  Jimmie had not received any complaints registered with Verizon directly and I still have not had any contact with any other management representative that I was told would call.

    I know this sounds crazy...
    Please assume there is regular JEE custom application and currently neither participating in BPM nor exposing any services.
    This application is likely to be continued for a longer period of time.
    Now this application is to be refactored so that it contibutes to BPM solution and processes are tracked.
    But it will not expose any services and will be continued to be used as a standalone application.. Processes will not be instantiated/updated/notified/end using ALBPM Workspace...
    To integrate with ALBPM and instantiate/notify/end/update processes in ALBPM is PAPI/PAPIWS THE ONLY WAY .... or is(are) there any other way to acheive the purpose?

    Mhhh... tricky. It is possible using PAPI, but it's not easy (the
    Workspace uses PAPI to execute screenflows in the first place).
    But one thing you may do to achieve the same effect, is add a "Wait"
    activity that:
    1- Waits for external events
    2- Can interrupt an instance in process (this works kind of like an
    automatic 'Grab' activity)
    Workspace users go with business as usual. But your app, sends a
    notification to this 'Wait' activity, when the notification is received,
    the instance is moved to the 'Wait' activity, you then update the instance
    as if the user processed it, and then 'release' it so it keeps moving.

    You're confused - servlets don't run in Web pages. They run on the server.
    JSPs don't run in the browser, either. They're compiled to servlets that run on the server. They're little more than HTML factories. By the time a JSP/servlet is done generating a response its 100%, pure HTML that's rendered in the browser.
    Besides, I think the common wisdom discourages the use of "several" servlets for Web apps. Go read about the core J2EE pattern "front controller servlet". The Web frameworks Struts, Spring MVC, WebWork, etc. all use this idiom. You should, too.
    The idea is that all HTTP requests are funnelled to a single servlet, which decides what to do based on the source and type of request and forwards the appropriate response page to the client.

    If this is regarding your information line that says a stolen iPhone, Apple can do nothing to help you.  You must track the iPhone yourself using iCloud and must have turned on Settings > iCloud > Find My Phone before it was stolen.  If that was not done, there is no way to track the iPhone.
    Report the theft to the police and the cell service provider and ask if they can blacklist the iPhone so it cannot be used.  Change all passwords associated with acconts on the iPhone.

    There are no apps and that is not a feature of iOS.
    iMessages are handled by Apple's own system, and there is no way to block a specific sender.
    SMS messages and voice calls are handled by your cell service provider, so you need to ask them what blocking (if any) features they offer.  If the texts are just spam, you should be able to report them to your carrier and they can block that sender.  Other blocking options will vary from carrier to carrier, so call yours and ask them what they can do.
