Issue in configuring the End to End Monitering.

I was trying to configure the end to end monitering in RW, and it is askin for uid and password, on applying them , it is not opening , and giving a messege as
Unable to read the current configuration for the selected XI domain because the system was unable to estable a connection to the monitoring server (possibly due to incorrect logon data). Error message: Unable to log on to system isrxidev in language en with user PISUPER.
What should i do? I am a super user.I hav all authorisations!Is this my role, or a basis / administrator role, tell me the solution, i need to check full end to end status of a messge from source point to target point.
Also, how do I set up the PIPELINE configuration. Any settings required in SICF transaction to see the different stages of a messege in sxmb_moni. Mine is a file to idoc scenerio, and in sxmb_moni i can only see the
Inbound Messege
Receiver Grouping
and
Response.
I was expecting to see the status at Receiver determination and interface Determination!

When I tried to stop the ascontrol of home and started the ascontrol of oc4j_soa from the back end by updating the server.xml file of corresponding oc4j instances.
unable to start the Application server Control i.e. not even getting the SSO login page..why?

You may want to post on the SOA/BPEL forum - BPEL
Check the server logs under $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/logs to see if they reveal the cause of the issue.

Issue in configuring the Master Repository in ODI

Hi,
I just downloaded and installed ODI. I wanted to create Master Repository in Sql Server 2005 (service pack 2). I gave the following string for jdbc:sqlserver://<servername>:1433;selectMethod=cursor;databaseName=odimaster;integratedSecurity=false. I also entered a valid username and password. Apart from this I have copied the sqlJdbc.jar file in the OraHome_1\oracledi\drivers directory.
The above is resulting in an error. Has anyone faced this issue?

I have got the Master repository configured by replacing the sqlJDBC.jar file that I intially had by 1.2. I also was able to configure the topology but unfortunately I am now stuck in configuring the work repository. I am following John's blog but each time I do a test connection it gives me connection failed. I have used the same connection string for JDBC. Following is my understanding on the different text boxes in the dialogue box, please let me know if my understanding is not right:

An issue while Configuring the Access System Console

I'm facing a problem while Configuring the Access System Console.
I have installed the policy manager, and when I try to configure the access system, an error message appears "The environment variable TEMP points to a directory that does not exist. To avoid any unexpected behavior, please make sure it points to the correct directory and restart the web server".
I have checked the temp system variable, and it was correct, and the directory already exist.
Note: I'm working on windows server 2003.
I really appreciate any help with this issue.

Check the permissions on the directory that the TEMP variable points to, to ensure that everyone has read/write access to it - maybe that's the problem.

Log4j - issue in configuring the file name for daily rolling file adapter

We have configured the log4j properties. We want to create back-up of log file each hour. The file name of the log file is MyApp.log and as per the below configuration after each hour backup file is created as
MyApp.log<<time>>
but we want that file should be created in follogin format
MyApp<<time>>.log
Below are the log4j properties configured, please let us know, what should be the correct option to create the filename in desired format.

SSSLERR_SERVER_CERT_MISMATCH when configuring end to end SSL

We are configuring the scenario of end-to-end SSL on the web dispatcher
to a central instance NW2004S system (XI). We have followed the
installation guides for the web dispatcher and the procedures for
enabling SSL on the ABAP and JAVA stacks. The document "Configuring
SSL on the Web Dispatcher" states that you need to request a
certificate for the JAVA stack in the name of the web dispatcher so you
do not get the "invalid certificate or does not match the name of the
site". This piece works fine.
Configuring the ABAP stack is different. If we configure the ABAP
stack in the conventional way (CN=hostname, OU=x, O=x, U=US), then we
have no problems hitting the servers directly to test SSL, but when we
try to do a redirect to the Web AS ABAP stack functionality (like
Webgui), I get the above certificate error. Basically, anything with
the url ending in /sap/bc, /sap, etc, routed to the ABAP stack.
If we try to use the methodology specified for the JAVA stack, and
request a certificate in the name of the web dispatcher, I get the
following error:

I see this in the ASCS dev_ms trace file for the ABAP stack. The SCS
dev_ms file is fine.
If I change the requested host back to the name of the CI and get
another certificate in the CI's name, there are no errors but I get the
pop up warning about the certificates. I can't use the web dispatcher
for what I want (XI load balancing).
I have searched SAP Notes and SDN and have not come up with any leads.

I solved this problem by setting the following profile parameter on my webdispatcher profile.
wdisp/ssl_ignore_host_mismatch = true
Doesn't fix the underlying problem but got me going until I can figure it out.

Adobe LiveCycle ES 8.2 Installation Error can't configure the App Server from Config Manager

Hello All-
We are trying to install the Adobe LiveCycle ES 8.2 SP2 and we are getting some issues while configuring the Application Server from the Config Manager, not sure why are those showing up, we never had these issues before when we installed 8.0, please look at the lcm log and the screenshot I provided for the errors which we are getting.
We are trying to configure the remote Application Server WebSphere on Linux from my machine which is on Windows and i made the target Application Server as WebSphere and target platform as linux when i initially installed the livecycle media.
The LCM logs say it failed to run the jacl scripts in the LiveCycle root directory and we wonder why is it pointing for the target Application Server to the Application Server which resides on my machine rather than it should point to the one on server. I am not sure what's going on and we did exactly what we did for 8.0.
Below are the environment details where we are trying to install.
Adobe LiveCycle ES: 8.2 SP2
Database: IBM DB2 9.1 FP4.
JVM Version and Vendor: 1.5.0 IBM Corporation
Application server: IBM WebSphere Application Server/6.1.0.19
Operating System: Linux
Hardware: x86 .
Any help will be appreciated!

Even i was facing the same issue but i was able to resolve it.
Although the earlier reply from karthik_chowdary was sent way back in 2008 and i think would have got resolved till now, but still the resolution which i have found is
The port i was using on the app server conf screen was that of application server HTTP Port.
But here in case of WebSphere ND, we need to use port specified in WAS UI > System administrator > Deployment manager > Ports
Try using that by default it is 8879.
And this resolved the issue.

Issue in Configuring Linksys RV042 router

Hi,
I am facing some issues in configuring the Linksys RV042 router with dual WAN configuration. We are having two internet connection and I want to perform the "Load balancing" between the two internet connections. I have followed the RV042 manual and configured the router.
But while using the Linksys RV042 for load balancing the "Outlook 2007" and "MSN" are frequently disconnecting in the client machines. We could not use the Linksys RV042 router because of this issue.
We are using the "Static IP" for the two internet connection and configured with manual. We are facing issue only in "Outlook" and "MSN" but I can browse the sites without any issues.
Is there any configurtaions needed? Please help us to get the solution in this issue.

Without knowing more about your configuration, and the reason for "Outlook" and "MSN" disconnecting. I would suggest that you look at the following documentation for setting up "Dual WAN" on the RV042.

It sounds like you may need to setup "Protocol Bindings" for your SMTP traffic to be directed out a specific WAN port.

The one you included in the match traffic command within the crypto.
You should have something like:

Issues with 105 End to End tutorial

In working my way through the end-to-end, I am running into two issues in part 5 (Human Workflow Task):
- the instruction suggests the Worklist Application's URL to be http://localhost:8888/integration/worklistapp. In my (automatically installed) environment however that should be http://localhost:8988/integration/worklistapp
- the login to be used for entering the Worklist Application is given as fmwadmin/welcome1. However: I cannot get access to the Worklist with that account. I have been able to locate the user fmwadmin from JDeveloper and when I check the system-jazn-data.xml file for the OC4J I can see the user as well. Is there a way to reset the password? Or can it be that instead of welcome1 another password should be used?

I think I will now remove the Embedded OC4J in its entirety and re-run Configure SOA; which will probably mean that I cannot get into the Worklist Application after all.
So the question remains: what is the correct password for the fmwadmin user?

Exchange 2007 - The XML document ended unexpectedly.

Hello,
I'm trying to connect with a exchange server 2007 sp3 through EWS.
I can connect but when I try to retrieve a calendar item I'm getting this error:
The XML document ended unexpectedly.
It seems that the EWS/Exchange isn't well configurated.
I tried it in the EWSEditor and the result is the same.
I checked the connectivity in the shell and all the results were ok.
Any new idea to test?
