Issue in processing the Credit Memo Request

Hi Experts,
I have a price difference credit memo request created (Order Type PR10). While processing it through VF01, it is getting updated rate (for updated materials) hence total value is exceeding the value of credit memo request.
How can I process it with the rates request was made soo that total value of both the documents remain same.

    I have one issue related to the Credit memo and S.O.
    We have a network of Dealers and Dealer inventory is linked with our system. When user creates S.O for Dealer1.If the item is not avail in our inventory and it is avail in any other Dealer inventory (Dealer2), then the system creates S.O wrt the Dealer2.
    In this case as the material is directly delivered from Dealer1 to Dealer2, there is no any GI in our system.
    So, the transaction with Dealer1 will be the normal as usual. But, we have to return the goods amount to the Dealer2 with any suitable way. We are considering it as a Credit memo.
    My question is, as we have created S.O wrt the partner function- Dealer1 and we are creating CR memo for Delaer2, is there any way through which we can link the se two transactions with customizing so that we need not to make any ABAP programming.
    I mean can we create Cr memo wrt S.O when the partner functions are different?
    Pl. guide me.

    You have an interesting Scenario.
    You can handle this scenario in multiple ways
    1. Third party Scenario (Here Dealer 1 becomes Vendor &Dealer 2 remains Customer)
    2. Order related sales & credit memo.
    3. Intercompany sales, where you represent dealers place as a plant in your system. (Not an ideal way to handle the scenario, but possible option)

  • Debit memo request with reference to the credit memo request

    Dear SD Consultants,
    I have a business scenario in which I create a credit memo request with reference to a debit memo request but the problem is that ,i can create many debit memo requests with reference to the same credit memo request even if the all target quantity was referenced , I still can create many debit memo requests with reference to the credit memo request so can any one tell me how to restrict creating debit memo request with reference to the credit memo request up till the all target quantity was referenced.

    Hi Experts
    I try to find SAP notes regardsing the credit memo request for intercompany related issue but I can
    not find any nates. The customer return the goods with 2 different
    scenario :-
    -Return with credit
    -Return with replacement.
    Can anybody explain how this 2 scenario perform in the SAP

    Enter IG (internal credit memo) as the billing type for intercompany
    billing for order type RE.
    Cust-Sales/distrib-Transactions-Billing-Intercompany billing-Order types
    Intercompany billing always refers to a delivery
    Processing flow will be:
    1. Create returns request invoice receipt (with or w/out reference)
    2. Create returns delivery and goods receipt
    3. Create credit memo invoice receipt for customer for 1.
    4. Create internal credit memo for 2.
    Therefore you must make the following entries in the document flow
    for billing documents:
      Target BillType        DlvType              ItemCat
    a)    IG                  LR
    b)    IG                  LR                    REN
    Parameters for entries:
    For a) Copying requirement:  14  Dlv.-rel.header IV
          Copy item no.: x  (Check and decide yourself)
    For b)Copying requirement: 15 Dlv.rel. item IV
          Data VBRK/VBRP      : 1  Inv.split (sample)
          Billing quantity    : B
          Qty/itm val.pos/neg : +
          Pricing type        : G
    Also, refer following SAP Notes
    13160 - Returns with intercompany billing

  • Creation of  Credit Memo request from the contract invoice

    Hi all,
    I would like to know the relationship between the contract invoice (billing document type, ZULG) and the associated credit memo requests. I have the billing document no, and need to know all the associated credit memo requests.
    It is possible to find the reference billing document from the credit memo request, as it is created with respect to a billing document, but is it possible to find the credit memo requests from the billing document?
    Any info on this relationship would be really appreciated.

    If the credit memo is created as a follow on order with respect to the contract, it is possibel to find the credit memo request through the doc flow.

  • Bringing the nor rebate condition type in rebate credit memo request.

    Dear Gurus,
    Is it possible, to bring the discount condition type say Zxxx(which is not a rebate relevant)
    in the rebate credit memo request.
    In the credit memo request,  while doing price analysis I can see the condition type Zxxx with the message condition record found and manually removed.
    For the condition type I do not check the Delete Indicator.
    I don't know why it is happening..
    Kindly suggest me with your valuable thoughts.
    I need to bring the non-rebate relevant condition types in the rebate credit memo reqquest.

    This is GAS & OIL  company, in this business, they work with price including taxes, we are now implemented a rebate solution, but the accrual values follow the same business rule, including tax.
    At the moment to create a credit memo request for rappel, the system trasfer only tha rappel condition type with the final settlement value and calculate the tax condition type..
    In the credit memo pricing procedure, I need to split the net value by formula.
    this is my pricing procedure configuration:

    There are a possibility to get this...a user exit, formula..that we can use..

  • Copy Credit Memo request from Invoice

    Hi,
    In one of the scenarios, the credit memo request is credted with reference to the invoice.
    Once it is creted, we can change the price in the ine item of the credit memo request. If the price entered is more then that of the invoice line item, the system gives an error (validation is already there). If the price entered is less than that of the invoice line item, the system allows processing with a warning.
    The issue is, If we add another material in the credit memo (which doesn't have any invoice reference ) the system allows to enter price without any limitaion. That means the validation is failing.
    Is there any way to block this? OR the system should not allow adding materials in the credit memo other than that of reference invoice. Can anybody suggest?

    Hi,
    In the COPY CONTROL from BILLING TO SALES ORDER VTAF, select your Source and Target documents and selet the ITEM
    and select the ITEM CATEGORY of your document  and in te COPY REQUIREMENT select the ROUTINE 303 whcih will copy the items from the souce only and will not allow to enter any item manally at the CREDIT MEMO
    Please check this and revert back

  • Is it possible to change 'billing status' after making credit memo request?

    Hi. This is Kwangkyun Choi from Samsung SDS in Korea as a  SD system operator.
    Our system can make billing documents from contract without making sales order and outbound delevey.
    And the contract can use milstone billing.
    When we make billing document using contract,
    one of the milestone billing item's 'billing status' has been changed from A (Not yet processed) to C (Completely processed).
    And also when we cancel the billing, the status has been changed from C to A.
    BUT,
    When I make CREDIT MEMO request referenced the billing document,
    at that time the 'billing status' doesn't changed.
    It was still 'C (Completely processed)'.
    I want to change that value 'A'.
    Is there any methods to solve this problem?
    I couln't find any solution using customising IMG setting.
    PLZ help to solve this problem.

    Hello,
    Let me clear my thought on this issue related to Billing Status of the Billing Docoument. You want to change the billing status of billing document to not yet processed after you have created a credit memo request. If this is the case then my explanation would be as :
    when billing document is generated and then Accounting document is also generated,  the billing status is fully completed. Nothing is rejected here nor nothing is left over. When you are creating a credit memo request, which is of course created with reference to Billing document then the billing status under no circumstances can change to "not yet processed" as the billing process is completed. Morever you are creating the credit memo request to adjust payment for the cusotmer.

  • Error while creating Credit Memo Request for Milestone billing invoice

    Hi All,
    I have a scenario where i have Milestone billing(% based) at header level in Contracts. I create Invoice for that and then try to create Credit Memo Request with reference to the Invoice.
    Problem comes when we try to change the qty in the credit memo request. we are able to change the qty but the value is not changing. It remains the same constant value of that milestone.
    In my copy control from Invoice to Credit memo request for the item category i have maintained the pricing type as "C" because i want to copy and manual conditions.
    So kindly let me know which config setting should be done so that whenever i change the qty the value should also be changed.
    Please Note : This is happening only when my billing plan is at header level. For Billing plan at Item level its working fine.....

    In the document flow, our credit memo request is being shown as being processed. However the credit note with respect to that and the subsequent accounting doc is created.
    why still the credit memo request is being shown as being processed in document flow. it should show as completed.

  • Credit Memo Request already exists for item & 1 , & 2, etc

    Hi SD guru's,
    I am trying to create a credit memo request in reference to my sales order invoice and i am getiing this warning message "Credit Memo Request already exists for item ".
    How is this possible,when i am creating the credit memo request only for the 1st time. Message number displayed is V1498, can you please help me solve this issue.
    Also when i manage to enter into the credit memo request document by pressing enter to all those warning's, i am asked to enter the target quantity. How do i handle this? since i have maintained order quantity in my sales order and my sales invoice.

    Hi,
    You can control the quantity to be copied into Credit memo request through Copy Controls Quantity Update.
    The the same quantity will be copied from the reference document into target document.
    You are getting error as Credit Memo Request exists , because you have created the Credit Memo request for full Sales Order Qunatity.

  • Cost center in Sales Order/Credit memo request

    Hi SAP Gurus,
    There is a requirement from our client. They are processing Credit Memo from SD VF01 via Credit memo request. The want to assign Cost center in the line items which is greyed out at the time of processing in VF01.
    I also verified in the Credit memo request in VA02 even there is no field available for to maintain  Cost center in line item so that at the time of billing it can  derive.
    Please advice whether can we assign the Cost centers in Sales order/Credit memo request line items?.

    Hi NTH,
    In the standard system, the field cost center is only ready for input
    if the sales document category is VBAK-VBTYP= I (that is, order without
    charge). For all other order types, you can make it visible by entering
    an order reason provided that the combination of the sales area and the
    order reason has a cost center assigned in OVF3. To change this standard
    behaviour, USEREXIT_COBL_SEND_HEADER can be used. There you can find a
    short example on how to make a field visible and modificable in the
    account assignment screen.
    Moreover, please take into account that the account assignment to a cost
    center is possible only at header level. So it is not possible to
    insert the cost center at item level, you can only insert it at header
    level.
    The cost center determination takes place in
    FV45KF0V_VBAK-KOSTL_ERMITTELN and is reading from table TVAUK.
    This table can be maintained in transaction OVF3.
    If you wants to be able to enter the cost center manually in the
    account assignment screen (header level), you can use  the user exit
    FV45PF0C_COBL_SEND_PBO_VBAK (SAPMV45A) - there you can find a short ex
    ample on how to make a field visible and modifiable in the account
    assignment

    Definition: A credit memo request is a sales document used in complaints processing to request credit for a customer.
    Use: If the price calculated for the customer was too high (for example, with the wrong scaled prices or because a discount was forgotten), you can create a credit memo request. The credit memo request can be automatically blocked for checking. Once it has been approved, you can remove the block.The system uses the credit memo request to create a credit memo.
    Structure: A credit memo request is another type of sales document like a standard order. For more information on sales documents, see Working with Sales Documents.A credit memo request starts the billing process.

    Below mentioned is the information on Credit Memo.
    Definition: The term credit memo always refers to a credit memo from the vendor. Therefore, posting a credit memo always leads to a debit posting on the vendor account.
    Use: As in the case of invoices, credit memos refer to purchase orders or goods receipts. They are used to correct the purchase order history if the quantity invoiced was too high, for example, if an invoice was too high or if part of the quantity was returned.
    When you post a credit memo, the total quantity in the purchase order history is reduced by the credit memo quantity.
    If you do not want the total quantity invoiced to be reduced, you must post the credit memo as a subsequent credit.

  • Replace AR Credit Memo Request Workflow with a new Custom Workflow

    Hello friends,
    We have a business requirement to replace the AR Credit Memo Request Workflow with a new Custom Workflow whenever an Invoice is disputed (Oracle Advanced Collections).
    The Credit Memo Request workflow is being launched within the Oracle API arw_cmreq_cover. We thought of an approach wherein the Oracle form IEXINDTL.fmb can be renamed and the Custom workflow to be called in the WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED trigger on Dispute Button instead of calling the program Unit IEXINDTL_CONTROL.DISPUTE (as in standard form) which inturn calls several API's and hence the AR Credit Memo Request Workflow. But this would override the other standard processes being carried out in these API's. Our requirement is to only replace the AR Credit Memo Request Workflow and not to override the other standard processes.
    Does anyone have come across the similar requirement? Please let us know your inputs.

    I ran across the same error today. Since it's been over a month, I assume you've fixed it already or decided you didn't need it at all? What was your fix?
    For me, I noted that in the sample directory, a similar "createView" call (in End User Anonymous Enrollment) also includes this argument:
    <Argument name='viewId' value='User'/>
    When I added that to my createView call, the "Missing view id" error went away, and the user are gets created.
    I'm not entirely comfortable with the value specified, though; seems like view IDs should be more unique. I would have thought it should have been something like this instead:
    <Argument name='viewId' value='User:$(accountId)'/>
