Issue in updation of related entities in a BOL

Hi,
I am trying to update a related entities using BOL entity method.
But somehow the data is not updated in entity. It creates an entity but sets the default data.
CREATE_RELATED_ENTITY( IV_RELATION_NAME = 'XXXXX")
LR_PROPERTY->SET_PROPERTIES( LS_PRoperty ).
Is there any method we need to call after setting this property ?.

The creation of dependent or child objects normally does not trigger the API call. Therefore, it
is necessary to explicitly trigger the API call by using the MODIFY method of the BOL core,
which sends changes to the underlying generic interaction layer. Without this call, the created
child objects will only exist in the BOL buffer and never get saved.

IPhone 4 reception issues are not design related! Proof inside this topic!

I conducted some very strict tests to verify the reception bug some people are reporting.
*Test 1:* Holding the iPhone 4 at a specific and precise position with a plastic protection and the left hand covering the bottom left corner making sure both antenna parts are connected by my hand.
*Test 2:* Holding the iPhone 4 at a specific and precise position WITHOUT any plastic protection and the left hand covering the bottom left corner making sure both antenna parts are connected by my hand, making sure my left hand is perfectly dry.
*Test 3:* Holding the iPhone 4 at a specific and precise position WITHOUT any plastic protection and the left hand covering the bottom left corner making sure both antenna parts are connected by my hand, making sure my left hand is wet (wetting it before the test)
*Tests duration:* 2 full minutes.
Here are the results:
*Test 1:* Full reception (5 bars), EDGE data network working. Calls are working perfectly as well as data operations (Safari).
*Test 2:* Full reception (5 bars), EDGE data network working. Calls are working perfectly as well as data operations (Safari).

Geographic location: Paris (France), Bastille district, inside my apartment. Note that I don't get 3G on this location, wathever phone I use (Veryfied with HTC Magic, iPhone 3G and iPhone 4, it's all the same on this aspect).
*So same exact result for all three tests!*
*_So what does it mean?_*
It either means that not all iPhone 4 are affected by this issue (as mine is not affected), or that this issue is not simply related to how you hold your phone and does involve also other elements, like the phone baseband firmware not dealing well with some GSM network configurations (different frequencies...etc) when adding noise (which is what your hand do when holding the phone) or something else.
This could give credits to the AppleInsider theory that it's related to how the BaseBand firmware is dealing with some GSM network situations and so that it's software related and that a fix is coming soon (see: http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/10/06/25/deathgrip_hysteria_may_end_monday_with_ios_401.html).
But it can also mean that it's still purely hardware related and that it's a production fault that affects only some units but not all.
But it's clearly not a design fault, otherwise all units would be affected and so I would be able to reproduce it with mine, which is not the case (as demonstrated by the tests I conducted).
_*My advice to those who are affected:*_
1) Wait a week to see if a software fix get released (as apparently, according to AppleInsider, it may come this very monday as part of an iOS 4.0.1 update), or at least for a confirmation that it's not a software issue in some GSM network configurations.
2) If it's confirmed that it's a production issues on some units, then get your phone exchanged.

After reading through all the reports I found myself intentionally holding the phone in the "Death-grip".
I went out that evening and used the phone perfectly fine all day, holding it with a few things, which is actually the way I hold it anyway when texting / msging etc.
I have a lot of faith that Apple with resolve this with a software update, and hope the fault is related to the BaseBand firmware reported in the appleinsider.
I am angered by everyone accepting the bloggers so-called "OFFICIAL RESPONSE" as Apples 'Official Response'.
There is no way, that Apple (Steve Jobs), would use that response via email, back to a single customer.
Officially... Apple will direct their response to the news directly, or at least something on their website.
People need to stop jumping on the "Steve Jobs told us to just hold it differently" band-wagon, and wait for something thats actually "OFFICIAL"...
As i've said in previous posts, just because the news and this blogger has put the word "Official" next to it, does not make it so...

Screen redraw issues after update to 10.7.4

Anyone else seeing screen redraw issues since updating to 10.7.4? Suddenly, the zoom tool stops working or causes visual errors.

thank you FFS48, it really helped and might work fine as temporary solution. I was about to restore my OS from backup to 10.7.3 version... as booting from it made no errors. The latest 10.7.4 update filled my log filles with different error messages like:

I often need to access my Mac Pro using Back to my Mac from my MBP. Do you know will it still be possible having WiFi on MacPro off?
It is strange, that the latest update delivered more visible problems than benefits....
What I tried to solve the problem and that did not work:
- Disable WiFi sync on iTunes (after reading some forums discussing similar problem)
- Uninstalled Xcode (as some forums suggested)
It is some how related to WiFi and iOS devices that sync to that computer. Switching these iOS devices off - removes the problem, and I believe it should be reported to Apple.

10.5.6 firewire issue after update!!

After doing the software update to 10.5.6 recently, my audio interface (MOTU 828) started to behave strangely (cutting in and out). I though it was perhaps too old these days so I bought an Apogee Rosetta 200. However that has not solved the problem, it just doesn't seem like it wants to connect via firewire properly.
I've seen a whole bunch of issue on various forums related to firewire after the 10.5.6 update but it doesn't look like everyone has it.
Can anyone help? Or does anyone know if Apple have released a firewire driver patch or something?
I am convinced there is a firewire driver problem in this update and I need them know about it!

P.S. Have already tried: zapping PRAM. Repairing permissions. Re-installing combo updater. Unplugging all my external firewire devices.

Sorted the issue. It was the firmware for the firewire card on the Rosetta 200. The FPGA wasn't communicating properly so had to re-install the firmware several times before it recognized it.

Syncing issues after updating to 10.3.1.55

After upgrading to itunes 10.3.1.55, today, it no longer recognizes my iPhone 4. I plug it in, the iPhone makes its normal syncing noice. I get a prompt, like always about it recognizing the camera and how i want to handle it. I cancel it, as usual, and then it never shows up in iTunes. I close itunes, connect my phone and it does not start itunes as it normally should. No error messages, just no response. Can anyone help with ideas?

I had the same issue, after updating to 10.3.1.55 it would error out saying something along the lines of not being able to read the catalog or something. I think the error even states do a restore to fix it. Last night that is what I did, clicked restore and then had it transfer all my items back. I'm glad I had just synced my phone prior to the update so the restore was really current.

Issue in Updating Sales Order Document flow

Hi Experts,
We have developed a Z Program for posting Material document for the deliveries of Sales Order. This program runs in Batch job everyday.
Here we are getting an issue like in some of the cases it's not updating the Document flow of the Sales order though its Posting Material Document for the Delivery of Sales Order. If there will be a bulk amount of data then its creating issue in updating the Document flow ( Either the 1st set of record or last set of records).
We are using BAPI 'BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE' for posting Material Document for the delivery and FM 'RV_DOCUMENT_FLOW_UPDATE_U' for updating the document flow.
It seems it giving issue with bulk amount of data. Will it a time issue?
If any one have faced such issue, please throw some pointers.

It could be a timing issue. After you create the material document, try to enque the material document and move to the next step only if the enque is successful. Keep trying to enque the material document until u are successful. But make sure you exit the loop after certain number of tries to avoid endless loops. Here is a sample code:

Take the Substring Function From Text Functionsand mention the position from 0 to 10 to take the Date alone from the Whole String which is getting in Source Field.
And after that apply the Transform date Function fron Date Functions and mention the source date format and the target date foramt that needs to convert into.

One of the things that Ken Newquist put me onto (and I've heard Apple Duncan say the exact same thing) is that the server running your transfer CGI may have a clock out of sync with Apple's clocks. If you append the debugging suffix to the URLs generated by your transfer CGI, you should be able to see if there's a problem with time synchronization.

Thisi is quite old, but not answered properly yet, so there you go:
SAP generates a new job and temporary variant on report RSDBSPJS, for each HTTP call,which creates database locks on table VARINUM .
This causes any heavyweight BSP application to hang and give timeout errors.
The problem is fixed applying OSS note 1791958, which is not included in any service pack.

We know the our software, we know the new camera will be 'ahead' of updates. its the time between that we all seem to just accept. We should not.
We can go round in circles pointing fingers as to who is to 'blame', thats not the point. The point is, no matter how far you go back, since the advent of digital this has been a problem. Posting on all web sites as far back as I remember contain "when will there be RAW support for xyz?". There are even some on this site back in 2006 asking the same question.
The interdependent link between camera makers & software vendors is not working properly. They need each other yet don't support each other. Do you think Adobe thought up DNG just as a exercise? From memory it was an attempt to standardize, with an open code, a raw format that was universal. I blame Canikon for not wholeheartedly supporting it. Then the Oly, Panny alliance come along with MFT, an ideal opportunity, but proprietary issues prevail as if they got some sort of advantage from it. They don't IMO.
Sorry for the rant, got carried away! Its just so frustrating.
