Hi, Buddy,
Did you fix your issue?
Now, I have the same issue, EBS version is 12.1.3. Using Soapui invoking PL/SQL, then go back to SOA monitor to check the error message.
Could you please give me some advises?
Thanks,
Jackie

  • Weblogic queues each request from Web Services client

    Hello everyone,
    Currently, I have a performance issue deploying a web services application on Weblogic 11g Patch1 (10.3.2).
    There are 40 clients which consume Web Services. After Weblogic queues each requests (40 requests) which takes about 2 or 3 minutes, then it starts to process the request (i.e. try to connect AuotVue Server with a servlet called VueServlet).
    I also found that during the process of queuing, even I ping the VueServlet or Web Services WSDL file in IE, it will take a long time to response.
    Look like all the weblogic resource is used to receive the requests and no resource is available for VueServlet.
    The problem happens when I deploy WS on windows 2003 server which is VMware machine with 3G RAM, and it doesn't happen when I deploy it on Windows 2008 server with 4 G RAM and duo cpu.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thank you very much.

    Maybe there are some problems with WebLogic and Windows 2003. See also this thread Oracle HTTP Server (OHS)  Installation Problem on Win 2003 Server SP2
    I think it would be handy if you file a support request.

  • Sending xsi types using Axis from web service client

    Hello,
    I am using axis to consume a web service, the soap message generated contain xsi types which cause the validation of the message to fail. Example:
    xsi:type="xsd:string"I have tried to remove these types using call.setProperty(Call.SEND_TYPE_ATTR,Boolean.FALSE); but this does not seem to work.
    OPERATION_STYLE=document
    Can someone please help
    Thanks

    Haven't worked on this, but have you tried by putting the axis libraries inside the plugin lib folder when you are building up the plugin? Also you need to check asix2 compatibility with weblogic version with R2.

  • Presence data from web service

    Hello,
    i like to get presence data from the presenceconsumer web service. But everytime a call getUserPresence i get a PolicyException (POL0002): 'Privacy verification failed for address %1, request is refused'.
    I use a web service proxy generated from the wsdl of the presenceconsumer web service. Authentication is made against the appregationproxy by setting username and password. Both users (the one i use for authentication and the one whose presence data i want to get) are registered in the timesten database.
    The user whose presence data should be accessed is logged in the OracleCommunicator and has the other user on the allowed list for presence data.
    All other operations of the presence web services work without any problem, so why not getUserPresence?
    Thanks for help

    Hi,
    I have found the problem and fixed it :)
    If you see my code, I was checking for the pending subscriptions after publish() method. When I tried this check before publish() method, I got the expected results (All the pending subscriptions).
    Also, I got an error (ServiceException) while dynamically retrieving the subscribed attributes for some reason. I have found an alternative solution, by manually allowing only the PresenceAttributeType.Activity (instead of all getSubscribedAttributes()).
    Note: This code was working fine in my local machine because, I have already setup-ed the users (Buddy list) through Oracle communicator in my machine. I was not able to install OC in the VM for some reason though OS is same in both my machine and the VM (OS: Windows 2000 SP4).
    thanks & regards,
    S.Vasanth Kumar.
    My latest code for your reference.

This client side interface will act as proxy and call multiple web services based on the input from web services clients. Can someone give some ideas/pattens that i could use to design this? I would like to use Java to implement.

    yep. java would be one way to implement that

  • Problem in invoking a secure weblogic web service from javaws client

    Hi all,
    the situation is this: there is a secure web service (Wssp1.2-2007-Wss1.1-X509-Basic256.xml policy) which is accessed by a stand-alone remote web service client (swing-enabled) which is initiated via java web start. You'll probably wondering why this is a special case. Let me elaborate...
    The first step was to develop the service and the client. This wasn't much of a trouble, since the documentation was very good apart from creating a ClientBSTCredentialProvider object at the client side. The documentation should explicitly state that the sixth argument, that of the server certificate, is required! In any case, the first step was a success and the invocation was encrypted and signed at the message level.
    The second step was to create a stand-alone remote client, without any local weblogic installation. That was a bit of a problem, since wlfullclient.jar or wseeclient.jar or weblogic.jar were not enough. I should note that the client was created via netbeans 7.0 and not with the help of weblogic clientgen. So, I had to make a verbose run from netbeans, in order to enumerate the jars which are accessed and gather them into the same directory. That was OK too. The standalone client works just fine.
    The third step is to simply (not so simply...) make a java web start version of the client. Since the previous step was a success (having all necessary jars in the same directory) this one should not be a problem. Well... that turned out to be a huge issue. What I get back as the error message (shown in the java web start console) is this:

    The two invocations (one using java and the other using javaws) should obviously have not differences at all since all resources (jars) are the same.
    I have tried all client jar combinations (with wlfullclient.jar, wseeclient.jar, weblogic.jar) and the result is the same. One additional piece of information is that when removing all security parameters (message level encryption and signing) from the web service the java web start client works just fine!!!
    This is not an issue of additional jars that somehow mess with weblogic jars, since the same error occurs even in the basic hello world web service.
    I wonder if someone has faced the same problem. I would really really appreciate any help. Thank you in advance and keep up the good work.
    Cheers,
    Paul.

    Hi Kal,
    since we're currently evaluating the software and haven't acquired a license, we cannot contact support.
    I only need to know if this is a solved bug or not. Does it have to do with the classloading process (I cannot think of anything else)?
    Thank you again very very much!
    Cheers,
    Paul.

  • Error creating a web service client from th WSDL document (soamanager)

    Hello everyone,
    we have generate with the wizard a web-service using the function module BAPI_CONTROL_RECIPE_GET_LIST. Then we have generated with SOAMANAGER the end point. As test, we have used a web-service explorer of Eclispe and we can retrieve without problems the data.
    Then we wanted to generate the web-servcie client with Eclipse Galileo (3.5.0) wiith the server GlassFish v2.1 Java EE 5 we first installed the WSIT jars, in order to support WS-RM protocol
    We have started the generation based on the document obtainend within the soamanager under the "Open WSDL document for selected binding" link.
    We have tried it several times and we always got the following error is:

    Do you know if we took the right document in order to generate the web-service client? Do we need to have some specifics settings in the configurations of th endpoint? (provider security, transport settings, etc...?)
    If needed, or if someone would be nice enough to try to generate it on its side, I can post here the whole wsdl document, but due to its length, I first wait your comments.
    Thanks a lot in advance for your feed-back
    best regards

    maybe this should have been better posted within the forum Service-Oriented Architecture than standards?
    I forgot to mention the following threads, which seems to me to be somehow in this direction. But I do not get really how I could use them, or how is is releated.

  • Set listbox items from web service response

    Hi All
    I am trying to set list box items from a web service response. Couple of issues over here:
    1. The user should be able to select multiple items from the list. Hence if I set "Allow multiple values" and set Commit on "exit", then after the web service returns the output, no data is displayed in the listbox. I need to click inside the list box to see the data returned by the web service. How to overcome this..??  ( However this problem (clicking inside the listbox to see the items) does not exist if "Allow multiple values" is unchecked and Commit is set on "Select". )
    2. After the list box is filled up, certain default values should be selected. This selection is based on one of the response field (which is actually a table with multiple values... ). Hence, how to capture this response field and set the default values in the above list..??
    3. The same case for a dropdown. The values are visible in dropdown. However, a default value should be selected and displayed after returning a response from web service. Again, this default value is dependant on another field in the response as in point no.2
    I am trying to use postExecute event as described in [this|http://forms.stefcameron.com/2009/03/23/pre-process-web-service-responses/] link...however not able to achieve the functionality. Please provide suggestions / inputs.
    Thanks
    Deepak

    Hello,
    first: I don´t know anything about the right solution. I am unaware of the existence of the solution, because there were quite many of question about this multiple selection problem and I don´t remember a single "answer".
    I can recommend you to simplify everything and create the functionality yourself. I have done that before to avoid these "Adobe-standard" problems. If you have a problem with autofill of the object, ask your WS to send you a single string and pass it yourself using scripting (JS).
    And if you have problems with multiple selection, create your own field/ object. Get the string of values, parse it, create multiple lines of the dynamic table with some suitable tool to check/ select the rows you need (use checkbox for example, and your text as a table row). This way you can selected anything you want with no problems at all. It wil only cost you some extra work.
    Regards, Otto

  • (261705413) Q RPCC-21 Can you compare a performance of "usual" RPC from EJB and RPC from Web Services?

    Q<RPCC-21> Can you compare a performance of "usual" RPC from EJB and RPC from Web
    Services?
    A<RPCC-21> There are additional performance overheads for invoking a web service
    when compared to straight EJB invocation. However, you should not think of web
    services as a way to replace your EJBs instead you should be willing to accept
    some performance decline for the massive gains in platform interoperability and
    the ability to exposure your services outside of you firewall.
    Additionally, performance decreases will be dependent on several factors. The
    most significant of which is the XML-Java and Java-XML translation of the SOAP
    message. This can be very fast if the XML structure is simple but if you web services
    requires a parameter that has a complex XML format you may see a more significant
    slow down.
    Adam

    Sorry if this sounds like I am new to this but I am.
    So, the extended version is the format that would be used if you were not utilizing the files that the wsdl2java function creates?
    And this is done to when you want more flexibiility for the user to call your service?
    So, you would push to have the stub files used when you want to control how the web service is used?
    thanks for the feedback.

  • Calling RFC-enabled function as web service using XI 3.0

    Hi,
    I have a problem when trying to use web services (sending a soap-req. to XI 3.0 based on the generated WSDL from Integration Directory).
    According to the message monitoring, all steps in the central pipeline executes just fine until the last step - CALL ADAPTER.
    I don't think this is an authorization issue since I have tested the XIISUSER/pwd against the URL for adapter engine.
    Seems to me that the problem is related to the msg sent to AE:
    "HTTP response contains status code 401 with the description Unauthorized XML tag Envelope missing in SOAP message header (SAP XI Extension)"
    How to proceed from here?

    Hi Torstein,
    <i>Seems to me that the problem is related to the msg sent to AE:
    "HTTP response contains status code 401 with the description Unauthorized XML tag Envelope missing in SOAP message header (SAP XI Extension)"
    </i>
    According to you, the problem occurs within the SOAP envelope. Does your incoming SOAP message looks like the one below here?
    If that's not the case, then make sure your SOAP/Web Service client is sending a valid SOAP envelope/request (like the sample below) to XI.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
    <!--  Inbound Message -->

  • Invoking a scenario using web service

    Hi Experts,
    Could anyone pls suggest how to pass variables from SOAP to ODI 11g(11.1.1.6.3)
    Here we are using wsdl utility to invoke a scenario using web service and trying to pass a variable like the below
    The scenario is triggered successfully without passing a parameter.
    But when i try to pass a variable like the below,am getting error
    Variables name='PROJECT_CODE'
    Variables value='JI-2015'
    In ODI 11g, i have generated a scenario with a variable PROJECT_CODE as a declare variable and tried triggering from both the environments
    From ODI 11g:
    When I try to trigger the scenario from wsdl, in that variable step(in operator), I got error as ODI-17546: Specified variable not found in the Repository
    But in the work repository SNP_VAR table I could still see the variable name under VAR_NAME column.
    From ODI 10g:
    When i try to do the same from odi 10g, the scenario execution is success.
    But the variable had taken only NULL value instead of taking the value which i passed from wsdl.
    Could you pls advise where am going wrong

    variable should be passed in the soap message by adding variables elements. Refer to Note ID [1499852.1]
    <Variables>
    <Name>Project.Variable1</Name>
    <Value>Variable1Value</Value>
    </Variables>
    <Variables>
    <Name>Project.Variable2</Name>
    <Value>Variable2Value</Value>
    </Variables>
    <Variables>
    <Name>Project.Variable3</Name>
    <Value>Variable3Value</Value>
    </Variables>

    Using JDev 10g on the same machine (or for that matter SOA 10g) works perfectly.
    Have posted this thread too - Getting SSLHandshakeException when trying to login to OCOD using Jdev 11g

    Please, help me to create Web Service Client from wsdl with digital signature. I know create Web Service client from wsdl file and I know how to add digital signature to XML with jwsdp, but I don't know how to do it together.
    Thanks.

    I'm handling security wit JAX-WS handler. So I insert "manually" ws-security tag and I encrypt (and sign) message parts.
    On client side, all works fine, but on server side I obtain:
    ---Server Inbound SOAP message---|#]
    Decrypting message and rebuilding Valuees... |#]
    Starting decrypt|#]
    . dectypted.!
    --found following string: <ns1:addiziona><num1>80</num1><num2>22222</num2></ns1:addiziona>|#]
    ...MESSAGE Restored.|#]
    <?xml version="1.0" ?><soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:ds="http://www.w3.org/2000/09/xmldsig#" xmlns:ns1="http://calculator.me.org/" xmlns:wsse="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd" xmlns:wsu="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-utility-1.0.xsd"><soapenv:Body><ns1:addiziona><num1>80</num1><num2>22222</num2></ns1:addiziona></soapenv:Body></soapenv:Envelope>|#]
