Issue with creating a new line in Glossary widget

I'm using Captivate 6 and have an issue with trying to display text on a new line in the description field of the Glossary widget. In playback, a carriage return displays as \n
I read in another discussion (from early last year), that this issue had been resolved and that the fix would be shared soon on the captivate blog for non-subscription users. Does anyone know if the fix has been shared yet - I can't find it anywhere?

Please click on the below link and download the updated Glosarry Interaction.

Extract the zip file to your desktop.
Copy "08_Glossary.wdgt" from the extracted zip file.
Go to : C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 6 (32 Bit)\Gallery\Interactions (For 32 bit Captivate) or C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 6 (64 Bit)\Gallery\Interactions (For 64 bit Captivate).
Replace the glossary widget in the interaction folder. Restart Captivate 6. (Make sure that you take the backup of the original Glosarry Widget)
Apply the widget again and check for the issue.
Let me know if it works for you.

What do you mean by 'making a line '?
Is it an empty line?
If it is just a blank line, while creating the text below the logo just give one line space and then type in your text.

Creating a new line in PLSQL

I am trying to create a new line by returning a variable from a function by coding the following which worked for the last version of HTML_DB and understood that after my variable named vlname I wanted a new line
msg := 'NAME: ' || vlname ||' ';
When passing back the value of msg now in Application express. This exact code I repeat worked for the last version of HTML_DB.
I don't know why but the new version thinks it's literal
and is displaying the name and then actually prints .
Does anyone have a ny suggestions ?

I just did the following:
Created this function:
create function br_test
return varchar2
is
begin
return ' qwerty qwerty ';
end;Created a blank page with a html region. I then created an an item of type Display as Text (does not save state). Item Source type = PL/SQL expression or function and Source value or expression = br_test.
When I run this qwerty is shown twice on seperate lines. What is different in you case?

Create a new line item in sales order

Hi,
I have to create a new line item in a sales order. The scenario is that if we donot find the desired quantity from a plant. Then we have to go ahead and pick the remaining quantity from another plant and automatically create a new line item.The new plant is picked from a custom table so u need not worry about it.
According to me I will have to use the BAPI for it but one constraint is that while creating a sales order the order number assignment is not done until saved. So what can be done in the case if its a new document.
Kindly let me know if there is any appropriate user exit or if someone has worked on a similar requirement.

Thanks for your response. I have tried to use these exits already but the problem dat comes here is dat when we try to use the BAPI we donot have any sales document created in the first instance(i.e. while creating an order) so the BAPI returns error and when i tried to populate the itabs in the program directly the new values just wont get processed.
I think like: in case its a new document and we face this scenario I can just terminate the document creation and create a new document using the BAPI with proper plant assignments.But i am doubtful about the stability of this process.

Hi, I am facing an issue while creating a new web part page (Safeunit.aspx) within a folder (Safematic Seal Support Systems) located under a Document Library (Product Information Documents).
The path I am explaining:
Going to the Document Library (Product Information Documents) --> now inside that, clicking on a folder (Wet Seal Support
Systems) --> now inside the folder clicking on another sub-folder (Safematic Seal Support Systems) --> Here I want the web page Safeunit.aspx
Issue is that when I reach to the required destination, and want to create the web page by clicking on 'Site Action' --> 'Create' --> 'Web Part Page', now while selecting the Document Library name from the drop-down list, I do use 'Product
Information Documents' since the folder is inside this library only; but that create the page directly under the 'Product Information Documents' library, not under the sub-folder (Safematic Seal
Support Systems).
FYI, it is SP2007 version.

I see that you have the namespaces reference in your code.
I think you have changed the NameSpace name of your code to CreateSPFolder, change the reference in all your manifest, and other files to point to the current namespace name. It should help.

How to create a new line item automatically in CRMD_ORDER

While creating a sales order in CRMD_ORDER, after user enters a line item say 'xxxx' and press 'Enter', we need to create a new line item say 'yyyy' dynamically. Any ways of how to achieve this functionality?

You can use structured products:
Step1:COMM_PR01
Open Product xxxx > Relationships > Tab Component > Select Relationship type = STRSET Set > Assing product yyyy
Step2: IMG > CRM > Transactions > Define Item Categories
Open you item category and in Structure scope field select option A Single-Level Explosion of structured products
Step3: IMG > CRM > Transactions > Define Item Category Determination
create new entry
Transaction type =
Item category group = Category group of xxxx product
main item cat = item cat of xxxx product
item cat = item cat of yyyy product
now when you enter product xxxx , product yyyy will be automatically added

Having an Issue with Creating a photo Book in Iphoto. I continue to get an error message when clicking on "Buy Book" The error indicates that I'm missing a frame or frames from the book. I've checked this many times and cannot locate the issue. The book appears to be complete from my perspective. What can I do now? I worked very hard on this and would hate to lose it all.

How did you check the book? Did you preview it?

The most common reason for this error is, that you have used a page layout that needs a background photo and you have not yet added the backdrop. Then the book is still showing some default grayscale image.
Check, if one of your page layouts is using this background:
Then you need to add a photo to the background of the page.

anyone know how to create a new line in a text file, something which is the text file equivelent of a BR (html) tag.

in windows it's "\r\n"
in linux/unix/bsd it's "\n"
but the best way to do it is

Issue with Creating Forecast Profiles/Forecasting

Hello Experts,
We are facing an issue with creating forecast profiles.
We have two FYVs defined in our system, one with 52/53 fiscal weeks (Fiscal Variant W1) and the other with 12 fiscal months (FYV M1), Our storage buckets profile (STP) uses W1, since we have many dataviews that use W1 as the FYV in the attached Planning buckets profile(PBP). We also have dataviews that display in fiscal months (use FYV M1 in the attached PBP), data from Fiscal weeks will be aggregated and shown in Fiscal months . We need to do forecasting using FYV M1, that is forecast in Fiscal Months , but since the storage bucket profile has W1 which is used in the Planning Area config. We are unable to create any Forecast profiles with FYV M1 . Please note that we cannot use M1 in STP because when we used M1 in STP, we could not create dataviews in fiscal weeks (using W1)
1. Is there any way we can forecast using M1 while having assinged W1 to the Planning area/STP ?
2. OR we are willing to assing M1 to PA, provided we can use W1 in some of the dataviews, unfortunately we were unable to do this, though the vice versa is possible i,e. we could have W1 in STP and M1 in some of the related PBPs/ Weekly Dataviews.
Please let me know if any of these are possible or if there is any alternative way to do forecasting in Fisc Months.

You are correct, the Storage bucket profile always has to be at a detailed level. Time bucket profile can be at higher levels like monthly, quarterly etc.,
Coming to the root of your problem, which is you are unable to forecast at a level other that what is specified in your Storage bucket profile, unfortunately the answer is no.
You can do a forecast only at the level at which the data is stored and not at the level at which the data is viewed.
One work around for this is to create an additional planning area with the same MPOS and this addl PA can contain only those bare minimum KF required for your forecast. After you generate your forecast, you can copy it to your Weeks based PA and then proceed from there. This copy of KF between PA is much faster as it will happen at LC level and should not cause time delays.
NOTE - You have to exercise caution when you are using 2 periodicities i.e., weeks and months, if you are using standard SAP calendar then you are good to go. If you are creating custom Fiscal variants pls ensure the start and end of a month is same in both the weekly and monthly variants. Failing which, there will be mismatch of data between the two dataviews.

Issue with creating receipts(using interface) for a PO with multiple lines

We have a receipts creation program which creates creates receipts.
The issue is, if the PO contains 2 lines then the program creates receipts for only 1 line.Can someone suggest a solution for the same.
Issue in Detail:
The program works as follows
- Populate rcv_header_interface table for Po Line#1 and Line#2
- Populate rcv_transactions_interface table for Po Line#1 and Line#2
- Invoke oracle std 'Receivogn Transaction Processor' program
-Check for Receipt Number generated in the base table rcv_shipment_headers
When we query the rcv_shipment_headers table, we found receipt_number is created for only Line#1.

[Xfce4] Issue with creating new tab in terminal

So, when I create a new tab in terminal I got a black rectangle in the top left corner of my screen it dimensions is like terminal window itself.
I have this problem on Xfce4 and Lxde as well.
What info do you need to help me with this issue?

I noticed that problem with Xfce's terminal as well. I remember it also effecting firefox or other windows depending on how I moved things around.
I think I may have solved the issue by disabling Xfce's desktop effects, or something to that effect. I haven't seen the problem since I switched over to xmonad though.
