Issue with creating new change request

Hi
We have implemented charm and we are using the workcenters for people to be able to access and create new change requests. When i click on the link to create a new change request it takes me to the screen to create a new one and it shows a New Change Request Number eg 51. With out saving or entering anything I go out and back to the workcenter and then click to creat a new change request and when it takes me back in to create a new change request it shows a new change request number i.e 52. Why would it do this?

Hi,
wel by default a transaction is autosaved..so u hav diff no each time you logged into this.
Go to spro and choose your transaction type i.e. SDCR for change request and double click it
and now remove the Tick from
Early No. assignement
This wil solve your problem so whenver it opn no appears by default only whn u press save it generates a no.
Pls assign pts.

So, when I create a new tab in terminal I got a black rectangle in the top left corner of my screen it dimensions is like terminal window itself.
I have this problem on Xfce4 and Lxde as well.

I noticed that problem with Xfce's terminal as well. I remember it also effecting firefox or other windows depending on how I moved things around.
I think I may have solved the issue by disabling Xfce's desktop effects, or something to that effect. I haven't seen the problem since I switched over to xmonad though.

Issue With Creating New Projects

Hi there,
I've been using PP for a long time with no problems. However, I've been using a single project (and multiple sequences within it). I recently tried making a new project with different settings - upon watching the video exported from this, it freezes (In Quicktime, VLC and even when uploaded to video sites such as Youtube and Vimeo).
So, this was a disappointment after I'd worked on a project for a while - I tried making new projects, even with the same settings as my single project that does work, and found the exact same - the video exported freezes a few seconds in.
Is this a problem many have come across? I have an issue in that I have no way of re-accessing registration details - this account was simply made for a trial download. If there are any solutions that do not involve reinstallation, I'd love to hear them.

Other than that, I think you'd need to provide more information about the media used, the system used and what you're trying to accomplish.

How to notify (email) Change Manager when new Change Request is created

Hi there, I am battling to generate an email when a developer creates a Change Request directly in the SolMan system. When he creates a new Change Request via CRMD_ORDER by filling in the Sold-to-Party, Change Manager, iBase etc., the message is automatically in 'To Be Approved'. I want to notify the Change Man ager as soon as a new Change Request has been submitted, but when I check the Actions tab in the message, no email action is listed or executed. I have edited SLFN0001_STANDARD... in SPPFCADM with conditions set. How can I create a email notification for the Change Manager as soon as a Change Request is in To Be Approved status?

Create a action definition with the following information:
Processing when saving.
No restriction.
Check Schedule Automatically.
Check Partner-Dependent.
Select Partner Function for Change Manager.
Determination Using Conditions that Can be Transported.
Then you have to create an Start Condition such as; userstatus = to be approved.
No scheduled condition is needed.

Creat a new change request always when a new package test is created.

Hi all,
I am facing or not a possible problem in our Solman 7.0 EHP1 support package 22. We're trying to open a new package test in our production environment. Always has been asked me by system to creat a new change request. So in our case the mandator option is not available in production invironment.
My question is:
Is necessary to open mandator option in this case or are there other option to create a new package test whitout create a new change request?
Has anyone experience by solving this problem or some useful SAP note?

Hi,
let me explain more details what is happens in our QAS environment:
1) Open STWB_2 transaction;
2) Creat e new test plan;
3) After confirm "Generate test plan", you can see a new screen open to: "Creat object Directory Entry" with two options to save "Local Object" or "Lock Overview";
For me, the third step is about to creat a new change request. So we need to know if is this necessary, or I can disable this necessity to generate a request always.
Is necessary to creat a new request in production environment? Or we can disable it?

Unable to go ahead with an approved change request.

Iam facing an issue in Solman Configuration in Charms Scenario.We have created 2 users: Requester & Change Manager.We are able to successfully create the change request. It is also successfully approved by the change manager(status authorized)
When the Change Manager approves the Change Document, Solution Manager
change the document to Authorized and Create a new Administrative Correction
Document.
The Change Manager open the Administrative Correcion (new) and should select
u201CTake In Processu201D in the TaskList.But, when we click on the action button, we get the following eror message :"No actions in the worklist ".

Hi,
I believe that u have checked the red icon in the Administrative correction screen. Please ensure that there is no error existing, if yes, resolve it. You wll get the actions.
If that is not the case, please assign roles SAP_CHANGEMAN_OPERATOR and SAP_CHANGEMAN_ADMIN to the change manager.
This should resolve the issue.

How to enhance the Tcode(F871) program to create new payment request ?

I want to copy the standard tcode(F871) program and make some change like invisible the field and change the level of the field .
But when I copy the standard program of the tcode(F871) and create a zprogram with a ztcde......execute the tcode(ztcode)....it is showing error before doing any chance in the progam.
So what change I will do in my zprogram so that when I execute the ztcode It will work...........

main issue is suddenly new field called RKE_COPA_KOSTL has been added to the BBESG Structure..
Because of this RFBIBL00 Upload is not working. I heard that this new fields will come by generating Operating Concerns by Transaction KEA0.I found an operating concern which was created as a test in developemt system..
But I am not sure how to delete that operating concern.Even i am not sure if we delete the Operating Concern ..is it going to delete that field in BBESG Structure or not??

Issues with the New Cloud

Missing options in Media Encoder, Premiere, and After Effects.
Just got done with this chat with Richa.
It appears that there are some issues with your new version of several of your flagship programs. No way to create SMALL size video files for use on slower networks (yes, they still exist out there, I deal with them every day). And the video files have to have alpha channels so they can be overlayed on top of graphics. I am still using flash because it can do things that just cant be done with HTML 5, javascript, css. And it is compatible across almost all browsers. I don't really care what Apple says it is still a very viable program. And if you want to play it on an iOS platform all you need is a browser app to do so. (people have safari, firefox, internet explorer, google etc. so get over the fact that it doesn't work with safari on iOS for iPads and iPhones and download another browser).
But now Adobe has started pulling some real stupid mistakes on purpose or by accident. Not everyone using your production suite is working on the next blockbuster movie for Hollywood. We use these programs for other applications as well. And you have opted to leave some of those tools out of your latest release of flagship programs. What are you thinking!
We in the industry need to make video files that are small in size, that contain alpha channels, and will download over slow networks at a reasonable rate. I don't have any use for a Quicktime mov the size of the Titanic (1.2Gig) when I can compress it to a reasonable size. BUT I NEED THE ABILITY TO INCLUDE THE ALPHA CHANNEL.
And if you read in the chat session below, I would like to be able to do this without having two copies of After Effects loaded on my system. Or any of the other programs as I come across issues.
You have 2.3 million people paying you a monthly subscription. Put down the champagne and start really looking at these new versions of software for your omissions.
I will climb down off my soapbox now and hope, no pray these issues get taken care of very soon. I use your software to make a living. I am not just playing with it as a hobby. Time is money, especially when you can't deliver something to a client after you upgrade your software because you have this wonderful subscription thing that is supposed to make the world better.

Having an Issue with Creating a photo Book in Iphoto. I continue to get an error message when clicking on "Buy Book" The error indicates that I'm missing a frame or frames from the book. I've checked this many times and cannot locate the issue. The book appears to be complete from my perspective. What can I do now? I worked very hard on this and would hate to lose it all.

The most common reason for this error is, that you have used a page layout that needs a background photo and you have not yet added the backdrop. Then the book is still showing some default grayscale image.
Check, if one of your page layouts is using this background:
Then you need to add a photo to the background of the page.

Business Package FIN 1.40 - Create a change Request Iview

Hello Experts,
I'm facing a difficulty on implementing the following Iview : Create a change request.
When I run the Iview, the 1st step is well displayed and all the input fields are empty.
The problem appears when i want to add the Edition Type in the correct field :
- the Edition type value has been created in SPRO and I don't see any value in the search help....
On the contrary, I can select the customized change request I have created in SPRO without any problem.
Did you have to face this issue anytime?
How did you solved it?

1.We have a spreadsheet with 100's of Customer data maintained in it , can we create a change request by downloading data from spreadsheet directly instead of manually entering the data in the CR. Also can we create a single change request for multiple Create customers.
2.Can we create CR's automatically , lets say we have 100's of customer data loaded into MDG hub by Data Services using DEBMAS Idoc , can this create automatic CR's , is this possible.

Answer:there are various options are available in MDG to process multiple material as shown below
you can down load the customers using file down load funcationality and same change,upload the customers using the file Upload process.
you can create a single CR for muntiple customers options are shown below.

Hi..my problem slightly similar.
I created one new user, and didn't select anything from "Public Groups Assignment" and "Privilege Assignment" for him.
I expect the user will be a public user.
But, when he try to logged in the portal,
He cannot see all the PORTLETS related to database values..
All he can see just LINKS -that all in my portal right now beside the report from database that the user cannot see :)
So, what did i do wrong?

I had looked in to the below mentioned thread but i am not clear what I need to do ?

I am also getting the error saying "Hiring manager Personnel number is required " when I try to create a new requisition request for hiring process?
According to the above mentioned thread I had created a Position and assigned a personnel number to that position. I am not sure what is mean by :
You have to maintain the one more manager position (i mean requister line manager) and give the proper reporting relationship and ren the program RCF_CREATE_USER, it automatically creates the CP relationship.
What the report "RCF_CREATE_USER" will do??

In this thread they had mentioned after creating a position and run this report the "hiring manager personnel number required" error is solved. Thst is the reason. Hope you understand my situation.
