Issues with mobile YouTube.

I'm having issues while using YouTube in my safari app. Videos will constantly freeze and not play, while the video time keeps going and buffering. It used to only do this one excessively long videos, but now almost every single video is doing this,regardless of length. It started doing this around a week ago and I don't know why.

Issues with Mobile Broadband on the Tablet 2

Is anyone having slowing degrading connection issues with Vodafone and the Tablet 2. Upon fresh boot, signal is strong, then degrades until a reboot is required. Seems very odd. Other devices connecting to vodafone at the same location have no problems.

due to it was working before, i can say there's no compatible issue with the device and computer.
you may need to contact ericsson or the mobile provider in aussie. still, there may be users here who has/had the same issue. you can wait for reply.

Recurring issue with mobile upload

Hi all,
Using Lightroom 5.6, I am experiencing ongoing issues with synchronising (uploading) LR to mobile devices. In brief, the upload will typically fail in mid-session with some collections partially or fully uploaded and some not started. (This may initially have been caused by going off-line during an upload), It will not recover. Deleting all uploaded data to prompt a restart does not help - it does not restart either.
Previously I have had to contact support and send the diagnostic report. Apparently there is a flag on the server end that needs resetting. Not the most satisfactory of solutions as it requires an action outwith the users control, but it does / did reset the file transfer interface. Apparently this bug was scheduled for fixing in the next up date. I understand I am on the latest (5.6) version , so does anyone know if this is still a bug?
Meantime, can support please reset my connection?

What the heck is going on with mobile safari !?! Super slow on loading most anything, have to refresh the page to finish loading it and can't like or comment on facebook either

I think your problem is your network connection. Are you using cellular data or Wifi when you notice the slowness?
I suggest you reset your net work connections.

Issues with mobility and autodiscovery with Lync 2013 and IIS/ARR

this is my last resort after days and days searching a solution for this problem... unsuccessfully.
All works fine unless the autodiscovery service with external users and the mobility service for both internal and external ones.
I deployed a Standard Edition Lync Server 2013 with:
a consolidated Frontend server in LAN
an Archiving and Monitoring server in LAN
an Edge server in DMZ with 2 NICs (one in DMZ network and one in LAN)
a IIS/ARR 2.5 reverse proxy in DMZ with 2 NICs (one in DMZ network and one in LAN)
All these roles are on Windows Server 2012 R2.
No split-DNS is deployed since I have different domains for internal and external. In any case I used the pinpoint DNS tip to resolve some records internally (I followed this guide http://tsoorad.blogspot.ch/2012/10/lync-server-dns-pinpoint-zones.html)

I installed and configured IIS/ARR 2.5 with KB2732764 and KB2785586 on Reverse Proxy following the NextHop guide. The local IP address of external NIC on Reverse Proxy is NATTED by a Cisco ASA firewall with public IP address and only 80/443
ports are permitted.
The problems occurs when I try to connect whit my Lync 2013 APP on iPad using autodiscovery service, both internally and externally. After some seconds the APP shows the message “Cannot connect to the server because it could be busy or
temporarily unavailable. Retry.” When I used the IIS/ARR 3.0 the problem looked like an authentication issue, then I came back to ISS/ARR 2.5 version with its KB. Now I cannot understand what is the cause about logfail.
The same behavior occurs with Android Lync 2013 APP and Windows Phone 8 APP.
Moreover my Lync 2013 client on Windows 7 can connect internally with autodiscovery settings but it cannot do it externally.
I'm a bit confused because I cannot understand if the problem is about external webservice of Frontend server or about Reverse Proxy configuration or about Lync Control Panel configuration.

thanks a lot for your reply!
I created _sip._tls.domain-ext.com SRV record in the external DNS and now autodiscovery works fine. At the beginning I had not created it because I thought lyncdiscover.domain-ext.com A record was enough for autodiscovery. I still cannot understand
why lyncdiscover.domain-ext.com points to reverse proxy, while _sip._tls.domain-ext.com points to Edge server. It's strange because both are part of the research order of Lync 2013 desktop clients.
By the way, mobility still does not work. I tried to insert bot the https URLs as manual configuration but Lync 2013 for iPad was not be able to login. I tried to paste both the URLs in the web browser and:
with https://<ExtwebFQDN>/Autodiscover/autodiscoverservice.svc/Root appears the "Root.json" file to be downloaded;
with https://<IntwebFQDN>/AutoDiscover/AutoDiscover.svc/Root
the message "500-Internal error of server" appears.

Login issues with Mobile Theme 50

Hi All,
I have an APEX 4.2 application (Mobile Theme 50) which is running on Oracle 10g and is being accessed via iPads. Whenever you exit out of the application by clicking on the iPad button and go into any other App, Mail, Calendar etc, you are forced back to the login page, rather than allowing the user to continue from where they were . We have other APEX applications using a desktop theme that will happily let you check your mail and when you swap back to Safari your session is still there and you can continue on from the page you were on when you left.
Authentication is a requirement, but I was hoping that once they login and the session hasn't timed out, that they would be free to move about the iPad without having to login again.
Are there any setting or changes that can be made to change this behaviour?

Hi Mahmoud, sorry I haven't had time to build a sample app, I might be able to knock up a sample this evening.
This appears to be an iPad specif problem. Tested it on a Samsung and it is fine. There is also one other subtle difference on the iPad itself, that is when you save the URL as a bookmark it always opens within Safari so you can open other apps, then go back into the apex app within Safari and your session is happily running. If you save the URL to the Home screen it opens in a full screen mode (with no minimise options) and you cannot jump out of it unless you are ready to login again.
After a bit more Googling I found that in the default Page Template for Theme 50 it has the following Meta Tag in the Header.
<meta name="apple-mobile-web-app-capable" content="yes" />
From what I can gather this will default the application to run in full screen mode.
I made a copy of the page template and removed this tag and it now always runs within Safari. (After removing the link from the iPad home screen and creating a new one....Some odd cache problems seem to happen)
It would be good to have the full screen mode running as it looks neater and obviouly gives you a bit more screen real estate, but removing the meta tags appears to solve the constant login issues....Our users can decide which they prefer.

TS2755 Does anyone have an issue with sending youtube links via text message with ios7?

I recently downloaded IOS 7 on my iphone 5. I cannot forward youtube links via text message. Does anyone have the same issue?

Found the issue. It seems that IMessages requires area code as well for local phone numbers. I never had the area code for local phone numbers with IOS 5 and IOS 6. It always worked before.

Issue with Mobile BI in iOS

We are currently discovering BusinessObjects Mobile BI with focus on Design Studio.
Microsoft TMG is used as reverse proxy having Basic Authentication.
All configured succesfully, test url working fine BUT a few issues we run into:
- Android tablet device working good but not displaying Design Studio documents (WebIntelligence and Dashboards do work)
- iPhone also not showing Design Studio documents
- ALL iOS devices crash during runtime
iOS Mobi app used is 6.1.11
iOS used is 8.1.1
Bi Platform 4.1 SP5
any ideas on our issues?
are there more companys around using TMG?

1. Regarding iOS crash
We have observed that certain functionality/workflow crashed the application when using the Mobile BI 6.1.11 and iOS 8.1.
For the same workflow the application was not crashing when using iOS 7.1.
We have raised an OSS with SAP and it is in progress. I suggest you test with different versions of OS and see if the app still crashes.
2. Regarding Design Studio Documents
a) Can you open the Design Studio Application directly from your PC browser ?
b) Suggest you check the access rights for Design Studio as well.
3. Reverse Proxy
Are you facing the same issues without the reverse proxy ?

Softkeyboard issue with mobile skin Textinput

Hi Adobe,
When can we get the fixing of the issue related to the mobile skinning based TextInput. As with the mobile skin based textinpu neither the softkeyboard Type nor AutoCapitalization etc. works.
Can Any one confirm on this??

You are right enough but I also require the vertical Scrolling on the component which is holding the TextInput box.
If you have any idea please let me know.
It should be done fix for the "spark.skins.mobile.TextInputSkin".
I have reported this bug long ago,hope it will be resolved sooner or later.

Audio issue on mobile Youtube.

Issue with mobile network signal ("Searching")

I recently purchased 2 iPad from Singapore and upon retuning to Malaysia, i applied for 2 mobile broadband package from the same mobile provider.
Issue i am facing is, on one of the ipad, the mobile network signal bar displays "Searching" almost all the time; only a few times it displays strong signal with 3G icon then it drops to "Searching" again. I tried to swap the micro sim around between both ipad but no such issue on the 2nd ipad which is consistenly strong signal.
I even restored the ipad (factory shipped 3.2.2) but no success.
What should i do?

After further test, I noticed the unit can't find any mobile provider under Settings > Carrier when signal bar displays "Searching".
Enabling airplane mode does not help either; only workaround is to disable Cellular Data under Settings > Cellular Data then Enable it again.

IPhone / iPad login issues with Mobile Theme

I'm wondering if this is a bug or just a part of design of the mobile theme. I'm developing a mobile site using the new mobile theme in 4.2.1. I open it up on Safari on either an iPhone or iPad and then want to add it to the home screen. No issues there.
I'm able to sign in fine with the shortcut on the home screen, but if I switch to another app or go back to the home screen and return to the APEX app, I always have to log in again. Pretty inconvenient to keep having to do this. Anyone aware of a work around or fix?

When you made a shortcut on our device, then it technically stores the url. then the session value is also captured. so when you return from another app to the home screen and click the icon on url device it resets the session everytime you go through that url as it no more esists or active. So its asking you to log back in

Issues with new Youtube update on Apple Tv and playlists

Has anyone else noticed that with the new update to Youtube on the Apple TV that playlists seem to be capped at 20 videos with no option to 'load more'. I saw a "load more' option briefly on the Apple TV in my bedroom but it quickly disappeared. The issue also seems to extend to simply loading more videos on a channels page beyond 20.

yeah i encountered that.
workaround is to create additional youtube playlist.
also, when a search in youtube on "my youtube" section, it only displays 20 items only.

Bb 9860 sku2 having issue with mobile ntwk connection

I have BB9860 unlocked phone bought thru rim employee. It worked fine with Chatr carrier gsm voice only. Now, it gave me 507 error. i reload the software from SaskTel, and device bootup fine. but never able to connect to cellular ntwk anymore. i tried videotron carrier OS download as well, same issue. The device shows in the desktop manager as CDMA device for radio type. How can I make it to work for GSM voice?
I tried rogers OS load and not going thru, since it didn't show OS to be loaded, i beleive due to same verision detected. I deleted the vender.xml file before every OS load. Please help.

The only difference in loading different carriers OS packages is that each may have a different version. Loading the exact same version from different carriers will not result in anything different.
The 9860 has multiple band capabilities...but you must set that in the Manage Connections area. But...

One might almost wonder exactly what device you have...you might want to talk to whoever provided it to you, perhaps it's some sort of non-standard hybrid or engineering-only device, and therefore might require very special handling not available to the general public.

DHCP issue with mobility anchor

Hi Guys,
I am having a bit of trouble to get the DHCP to work in my configuration. basically I have configured one SSID on two WLCs (running same version of code), I configured WLC 1 as anchor controller and configured itself as mobility anchor (local), and on foreign controller (WLC2), I have configured the anchor as a mobility anchor. I have added both of the WLCs in each other's mobility list, however WLC1 and 2 are not in the same mobility group. clients are getting IP address through an external DHCP server.
the problem is that when I used the management interface for the WLAN, I could get IP address through DHCP without any problem, however if I use another dynamic interface created for the SSID, then I could not get IP address anymore. I did another test with two WLCs configured in the same mobility group, then everythnig works fine. I have double checked my configuration for the dynamic interface but could not find anything wrong.
so my question is
is it possible to do auto anchoring configuration with two WLCs in different mobility group (different mobility group name), since based on my test management interface works, but another dynamic interface did not work. in the configuration guide, it says: "you must add controllers to the mobility group member list before you can designate them as mobiolity anchors for a WLAN", does that mean the mobility group name has to be the same for both of the WLCs? if that's the case why does management interface worked?

thanks for your reply, i guess that's where the problem is - I could not ping the dynamic interface from the DHCP server. (eping and mping works fine)
however I could ping the dynamic interface of the foreign controller (i have created another dynamic interface on the same subnet on the foreign controller, i understand it's not really necessary since we getting IP in the range defined on the anchor controller). the only difference between the two controllers is that the foreign controller enabled LAG, and only connected to the core swithc number 1, but the anchor controlelr is not (it has two connections to two core switches respectively).
so does this mean I can not use this controller to be a anchor controller if it has two connections to two differnet switches? if yes is there any documentation on this point?
