Issues with not being able to download my epub book to ipad.
I recently had an epub3 book created for download. It is meant to be compatable with the ipad.
I can download it to ibooks on my macbook with ease.
Yet anyone who tries to download it directly to their ipad struggles. The most common problem is that they are told that it has downloaded, yet it disappears and they can't find it.
I recommend that they update to the latest ibooks software. Still makes no difference. The only way they seem able to download it is if they download it to their computer and then transfer it to their ipad!
I don't own an ipad so I am not able to go through this process myself. If anyone can share any insight on what might be going wrong, I would really appreciate it.

Since getting my iPhone 5 I've had camera issues. To start with it was over exposure, the camera was flashing too early and leaving me with dark pictures. After a failed reset I visited the apple store, where they told me it was a known problem and apple were working on a update to fix the issue and it was just a
waiting game. Once the update was available I did it immediately and the problem seemed to be fixed. I've now noticed that from the camera roll I carnt send a picture to mms. It gives me the option but the screen completely freezes after I've chosen it. The only way to access my camera roll again is to completely close the camera roll down and reopen it. The strange thing it it will let me send it as an email and upload taught to Facebook etc just not as an mms. The other strange thing is if I go to msgs and add a photo I'm successful but if I try to edit the photo I want to send 1st then I get the same issue as the camera roll. I also have issues with the shutter taking ages to open. Is anyone else havin these issue before I go back to the apple shop. A complete reset hasn't workedPhoto Stream only handles images and your videos are not uploaded or shared with other devices.
Use iPhoto to import from your device. It can bring in the videos and image files. -
I can't even switch the wifi button to try and connect to my wifi at home but my iPad still uses the wifi just fine.
Thank you, I am trying to last option now. Resetting my network settings and if that still doesn't work ill have to go in to the apple store. Hopefully I won't need a new phone because I'm already at my limit with replacements on my AppleCare even though the issue with the phones 3 out of 4 times wasn't my fault and I can't afford to buy another phone.

Having an issue with not being able to add tracks in Garage Band projects. Tried adding from both the TRACKS menu up top, and the "+" button at the bottom of the project page. It used to work fine, now all of a sudden nothing.
What is your GarageBAnd version?
How many tracks do have already? There is a limit to the number of software instruments that you can add, depending on the amount of RAM you have installed.

Are the buttons greyed out, or simply unresponsive?
If the buttons and commands are unresponsive, I'd try HangTime's oddball problems fix and trash the GarageBand preferences file - move com.apple.garageband.plist from the Preferences folder in your user library to the Desktop - see the FAQ:

I want to download a picture from my hotmail email, but it keeps reverting back to the email pic. Wont download it. I had to go to my Yahoo account to do this! When I went to the feedback for the New beta version FireFox 4 I was told I had to install the beta version - WHICH I already have! HELP

Not being able to download App in App Store
Hi, I am not being able to download any application via the App store. I get the error "The network connection could not be made". I tried to download using different sign-in accounts even then faced the same issue. I also tried to use iPhone for app download, there I face "Unable to download application" error. Kindly help.

I just got an IPAD2 on Saturday. With the Mac, I could always tell when programs were open/running by going to the menu bar. How can I tell what programs are running in the background. I am struggling with not being able to go to a menu bar at the top
You can see which apps are open and/or recently used by double-clicking the home button to bring up the taskbar at the bottom of the screen (not all apps that appear there are active) - you can then close apps on it by pressing and holding one of them for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar. If you have an app 'open' on-screen then it won't appear on the taskbar, you will need to go back to the homescreen first, and it should then show when you next open the taskbar.

I assumed this would help my problem with not being able to open apps like Preview or TextEdit since I installed Mountain Lion. Instead, first I'm prompted to enter a password, then once I do that, I get an error box telling me the Library needs repairing. So I click on Repair, and once again I'm prompted for a password, which I enter, then the same error box opens, and so it goes. Can anyone help me with this problem? I'd greatly appreciate it.

This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box marked Allow user to administer this computer, then reboot. You can demote the problem account back to standard status when this step has been completed.
Triple-click the following line to select it. Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):

Step 2 (optional)
Step 1 should give you usable permissions in your home folder. This step will restore special attributes set by OS X on some user folders to protect them from unintended deletion or renaming. You can skip this step if you don't consider that protection to be necessary, and if everything is working as expected after step 1.
Boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. A Terminal window will open.
In the Terminal window, type this:

Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:

Press return. A Reset Password window will open. You’re not going to reset a password.
Select your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.

Why hasn't Apple created a patch to rectify this problem of not being able to burn cd's ? I have tried to go through the lengthy solution - holding my breath, not wishing to make things worse I tried but................. it didn't cure the problem. A patch please Apple.

I'm tired of this problem of not being able to access itunes on my laptop and now no internet access despite connection and strength being excellent. What are windows playing at? Worked perfectly well until recently. Very frustrating and time consuming!
Just a few lines to assure you you are not alone regarding speed delivery. By no means.
I'm on Infinity 2 with HH5 - was virtually guaranteed 63 d/l and told possibly even up to 78. My actual speeds are nearer 15 (yes 15!) to 28 d/l if I am lucky. I've played all the obligatory games of checking and posting and reviewing my HH stats - and of course wasting my time with India "help" customer services who are instructed to read from a script of inane generalities which are usually completely irrelevant and have no connection whatsoever with a user's Specific problem.
It more often than not turns out that the automated monitoring system imposes a software called DLM = Digital Line Management = which (with the endless excuse of improving line stability) increases noise margins and drastically reduces speed. This can kick in pretty rapidly and can take at least 3 to 4 days to modify itself - if indeed at all!!! Usually an Openreach engineer visit is then needed - who will re-set the Profile to what it is you are supposed to be paying for ..... then of course it is totally possible that DLM will re-emerge and the same old cycle of troubles will have to be endured.
We pay in good faith at the outset on the back of so many promises - only to be cynically let down and dismissed once signed up. It is quite wrong we have to continually argue our case to (try) to get anywhere and are always reminded that we are tied into contracts with expensive escape clauses - or that an engineer's visit is only free IF it is proved the fault is not inside your house - which it very rarely is! This is often more an Ordeal than a subscribed service. Superfast reliable Broadband in the UK ? Ha! -

-We are seeing issues with agents trying to log in and getting timeout errors, taking 3-5 times to actually login/JTAPI errors. Supervisor application is having the same issues. We have full IP Visibility from all subnets. The CUCM/CCX servers were put in last August, and we had zero issue up until the past few weeks. Ive validated the agent settings, JTAPI users etc and Ive rebooted the UCCX server as well

Account issue with not being eligable to purchase gift cards
All of a sudden I am unable to purchase gift cards on my itunes account.
It gets me to the screen to buy and then I get a message saying this account is not eligable to purchase gift cards at this time.
I have changed my credit card number but that does not help.
I have been able to purchase gift cards in the past.
Anyone got an answer to this?Contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department using the form on their Support page (select the category and subcategory closest to the issue you're reporting and you'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form - or an "Email Us" button) and explain your situation to them. If they cannot fix the problem, they perhaps can at least explain it. With all the iTunes Store fraud going around, the iTunes Store may be limiting such purchases for some accounts due to suspected unauthorized access.
