Issues With Tablet Sensitivity

I just recently purchased my touchscreen notebook and installed a digital art program (Krita) with no problem. I plugged in a wacom tablet that I've had for years and it seemed to have installed fine, it made a beeping noise to indicate it had been plugged in and I can move around the mouse fine. But the computer doesn't recognize sensitivity at all. I tried taking it back out of the usb and plugging it back in but that also didn't work. My wacom tablet is an intuos4. Is this an issue on my end? Or is the older tablet not compatible with my new notebook? If it's somethig to do with instalation of the tablet or the new computer, is there something I can do to fix it?

Hi all, I have the following question - bought iphone 5c used a couple of days ago and have 2 issues so far - I have problems charging it - the battery would drain to 0% and will plug it in but will not charge, instead after a while the phone would turn on and stay 1% forever. Tried another charger and it charges but when it is off and charging it does not show the percentage bar on the screen. Secondly - when I turn it on, seems like there is weird light from the top and the screen seems to be no very responsive, when the phone is on.
Return the phone and get your money back,  Then purchase one from an authorized Apple dealer.
Could be you bought a lemon.

  • EP11D - Issue with Email Sensitivity

    Hi
I have an unusual issue with producing e-P11D's. Even with SAP_ALL and table change (V_T50BK to setting PAYE EXB ESENS = P) whenever I issue one the sensitivity is 'Confidential' and not 'private' :
One of my colleagues (Same PID'S and SAP_ALL) Issues the eP11D as 'private'. This is in Production client.
    Please can anyone assist?
    Kind regards

    Dear Rachael,
    We had the same problem.
We had to handwrite them out manually with a big pen !

  • Illustrator CC issue with pressure sensitivity and blob brush.

Hello I ran into this issue yesterday and can't seem to find a way to fix it.
When using the blob brush, pressure sensitivity with my wacom intuos 5 works as expected. However if I switch to the regular brush tool and draw with that tool then switch back to the blob brush tool, pressure sensitivity stops working until I open the Blob brush's preferences and change any setting then click OK.
    My machine:
    Retina Macbook Pro
    Core i7 2.3 Ghz
    16GB RAM
    Nvidia 650M 1GB
    OSX 10.9.2
    Illustrator 17.1.0
    Already tried:
    - Deleting Illustrator's preferences
    - Reinstalling Wacom Drivers
    - Reinstalling Illustrator
Yet the problem persists. Any ideas? Is this a bug?

I was having the same problem. I wanted to use the blob tool and it was set to 2 point from a previous session. Every time I went to use it I got a 5 point round brush with no pressure sensitivity. It drove me crazy for awhile until I finally tried setting the blob brush to something different. After that it was fine, and I could switch back to 2 point and it began to work as expected. It seems like there's a small hiccup somewhere.

  • How to work around issues with tablet PC input service

On some systems the Tablet PC Input Service is running and it interferes with JavaScript based UI frameworks (jQuery, Kendo). Is there any solution to fixing this issue through code? The alternative would be to tell every user to check for this service to be running and turn it off....which also turns off support for Wacom tablets, smartboards and a bunch of other stuff.
Works fine in IE, but also fails in Chrome, so it is not only Firefox. And it is not only one app, there are reports of different browser based apps failing.
    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Yes, this also happens on the old version. It is tied most likely to the Tablet PC Input Service. I tried it also with a touch interface and there some stuff works now, but others does not. When using FF with a touch interface I wonder how well that works out.
I saw the other post before, but there was no solution given either. The only workaround so far that I found is to stop that Windows service, but then some hardware such as the graphics tablets won't work any longer.
One more reason why touch UIs are currently total flops....but that is a different discussion.

  • Latest Firmware Update Issues with Screen Sensitivity

    Hi All,
I synced my original iphone a few days ago and it required a firmware update. Since then, I have had numerous problems with the touchscreen for email and texting. Sometimes, I cannot open a folder on one of my emails or send a text because hitting the "send" icon does nothing. I've restarted my phone and reset it but have not yet tried a restore. Had anyone else had these issues?
And do you have any other suggestions I should try before doing a restore? Many thanks.
    Kathy

Do not know about its compatibility and functionality.. but if you are OK with Beta softwares.. you may have a look at..

  • Is anyone else having an issue with touch sensitivity with ipad air 2 while plugged in?

I'm now up to 8.2 hoping with each update it will be fixed.  I use my ipad a lot, so sometimes during the day I have to use it while plugged in.  You can't even type an email.  It drops keys, jumps keys, doesn't respond to touch, and just acts really sluggish.  You  have to unplug it to type and then plug back in when you're done.  Unplugging fixes it instantly.  I don't get it.  I've read others experiencing this, but I haven't heard about a fix.  Anyone?

Are you using an Apple charger?
It may be a current issue from your power outlet.  Try changing outlets & charging it plugged into its own receptacle.
I do not have the issue on my iPad Air 2, iOS 8.1.3.

  • Sensitivity Issue With Stylus on Yoga S1

I recently purchased the Thinkpad Yoga S1 and use it for school. I mainly use the tablet mode for writing notes in class. I am having issues with the sensitivity of the pen when using OneNote, mainly when switching from different pens or highlighters. The pen will start marking on the screen without actually touching the screen with the stylus. I have been able to mark on the screen while holding the pen up to 2 or 3 inches from the screen. I have calibrated the pen multiple times which ends up being hit or miss if it actually helps.
TL;DR The stylus is writing in OneNote while being held up to 2 inches from the screen. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I have the EXACT same issue.  I have been doing research and have not found a solution.  It is very irritating.  I want to like my new Yoga, but am getting frustrated with quirks like this one... especially compared to the intuitive performance of my other Apple products.  Please help me find a solution so that I can feel better about my new work computer that I was so excited to receive!  Thanks!!!

  • Wacom Tablet Issues with LR 5.6

Ever since I upgrade to LR 5.6, I'm having problems with my wacom tablet (intuos 5 wireless small).  When I use the TAT, as I move up and down the slider moves a couple of numbers and them stops.  If I use my blue tooth mouse, it works just fine.  Also, if I go up to the Histogram and click and drag, nothing at all happens using the tablet, but works just fine with blue tooth mouse.  There are a lot of other issues with rendering and unstable pen action.  I have no issues with the tablet in Photoshop CC - 2014 ACR or any other programs.  It's definitely tied to LR 5.6.
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.  Oh, I have uninstalled and re-installed and have the same problem.
    Dennis

I downloaded the driver at Wacom Europe GmbH - Support - Treiber  ran it without the tablet being connected, than plugged in the Intous again. Immediately a new USB-recognition/installation process started (but all customizations were preserved).
That was all. I am not a nerd, just a normal user, so nothing special to report. It just worked out fine.

  • Issue with Healing Brush and Wacom Tablet

I use a Wacom Intuos 4 for retouching. Photoshop CC 2014 gets stuck when I use the healing brush. I hold the Alt-key down and take a sample with the healing brush, and when I go to paint and the cross-hair gets stuck inside of the circle and the tool stops responding. After I remove the pen from the tablet I get the round spinning little balls as Photoshop is thinking and then everything works again. It's very annoying when retouching skin. It doesn't do it every time I use the tool just at random. Anyone else having this issue? I've tried many different driver versions for the Wacom and it does it no matter what version. I've also reset the tool. I've done everything but reformat the hard drive. I'm using windows 7 64bit.

I got a response from Wacom Support about this issue.
Actually this is a known issue with Photoshop CC 2014. This is a third party application. You have the current driver for windows 7 and the tablet works fine. Wacom ensures that your tablet works perfectly for any issues except third party application support. I would recommend that you tried contacting Adobe regarding this.

Great. All I got from contacting both Adobe and Wacom support was finger pointing and acknowledgement of a problem. At this point any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

  • Issues with Mobile Broadband on the Tablet 2

Is anyone having slowing degrading connection issues with Vodafone and the Tablet 2. Upon fresh boot, signal is strong, then degrades until a reboot is required. Seems very odd. Other devices connecting to vodafone at the same location have no problems.

    hi rogerf.
due to it was working before, i can say there's no compatible issue with the device and computer.
you may need to contact ericsson or the mobile provider in aussie. still, there may be users here who has/had the same issue. you can wait for reply.

  • Case sensitivity issue with hostname and sessions

I'm running into a strange issue with mixed cases and my webservice.
I have a JAX-WS service running at my host http://sumac.us.oracle.com/interlace/services/AdminService. When I connect my JAX-WS client to this, using the same URL, I have no problems and the session management code seems to work.
However, if I set my JAX-WS client to connect to http://SUMAC.us.oracle.com/interlace/services/AdminService, the session management doesn't work any more. It seems that the client does not send the JSessionID cookie back to the server.
I did notice that my webservice sends the following Set-Cookie header and the host that is sent in the original request is SUMAC.us.oracle.com
    Set-Cookie: JSESSIONID=vWjmMJwJXVLf2LBwYN82rxpqbwyKPP4SpD8kd7zLYVkLDJG2Bnnp!-234350174; path=/interlace; HttpOnly
I'm wondering if anyone has run into this. I'm just using the standard JAX-WS client which is generated from a WSDL file. Let me know if this is sufficient information and I'll add more if necessary.
    Thanks,
    Anil

I tracked this down and the issue has to do with the CookieJar class used to store the cookie information. It seems that this has already been patched in the JAX-WS 2.2.x line, but I believe that JDK 1.6 u21 uses a version of the 2.1.x branch.
The JAX-WS issue number is 834.

  • Pen pressure issues with CS6

So, I'm having an odd issue with my tablet and its pressure sensitivity with CS6. I've got a Genius MousePen tablet; M508W model. I can use it on my mac computer with photoshop elements; pen pressure works just fine with it. In CS6, when I do the stroke preview for all of my burshes, it shows the tapering-- as well as in the brush settings. When I go to make an actual rush stroke though, it doesn't apply the pressure settings. I've got the most recent drivers for the tablet downloaded, All of the old driver software was uninstalled, I've made sure that the drivers are for my version of windows, I've tried setting the compatability back to windows 7 and using the windows 7 drivers, but STILL nothing. The only reason I'm lead to believe that this is an issue with CS6 is that the tablet works with PS Elements just fine. If anyone could help shed some light on the situation, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I am having a similar issue.
Working in CS6 on a Cintiq Companion.
Pressure sensitivity disappears while I'm working.
The only way to get it back is to quit out of Photoshop and relaunch.
The pressure sensitivity works fine in Autodesk Sketchbook.

  • How to fix Issues with Citrix photoshop cs6?

    Good day people from Adobe.
My university (ITESM) is using the Citrix plataform to stream to all of us students adobe's photoshop cs6 suite. However I am having issues with it becuase:
1.-it isn't allowing me to upload new brushes (.abr)
2.-nor it  detects  pressure sensitivity from my tablet.
My other native mac programs like Gimp can detect the pressure sensitivity so it isn't an issue of my MAC
Is this a problem with the my university's software? Should I contact them? or is it an issue with their version of photoshop?

Yes, your university probably shouldn't be running Photoshop over Citrix.
Citrix is not native, and won't be able to handle pressure or many other system specific options.
I doubt that Photoshop can work correcly over Citrix (due to the limitations of it's virtual and streaming architecture), and the performance will not be very good even if you try.

  • Issues with the Surface Pro 3's pen in Photoshop CS6

I used photoshop CS6 with no problems on my old computer that was connected to a graphics tablet.
However, I recently bought a new windows computer called the Surface Pro 3. Everything works perfectly with the trackpad and touch, but I've had some issues with the Surface pen.
The pen can draw on the canvas, but whenever I click something on any of the windows with the pen, the entire application freezes and I would have to click the computer's taskbar at the bottom to unfreeze the application.
It's impossible to work like this. Is there any solution to fix this problem? It says that the version of photoshop I have is Adobe Photoshop Version: 13.1.2

If you have Photoshop CS6 version 13.1.2 which is the Subscription version of Photoshop,  You shoule  Isstall Photoshop CC 2014 on your surface Pro 3.  It will work without problems on the surface Pro 3 and you will also have the option have the option to use Photoshop CC 2014 preference 2x UI to scale Photoshop's UI up in size on your Surface Pro 3.
If you do not have a subscription the Perpetual version of windows CS6 should be version 13.0.1.3.  In that case the only way to scale Photoshop UI is to have windows do it. You would need to to update your windows 8.1 registry and add an external Photoshop manifest file in your Photoshop CS6 folder.  To get the Surface Pro 3 pen to work with Photoshop you would need to install NTig pen device drivers the support the wintab APIs.
You will not be able to use Photoshop without a keyboard popping up the windows onscreen keyboard is too cumbersome.  You can use a utility like Touchkey to create Overlay touch keys on Photoshop and use Photoshop without a keyboard.
The differece betweek Adobe 2XUI scaling an windows scaling ise windows scaling scalet the image areas as well as the Photoshops UI
A couple of touchkey overlat keyboards could look something like this

  • Surface Pro 2, Functionality Issues with Photoshop

I've been working with PS for years, and previously used a Cintiq, but i would like to branch out somewhat to a Surface Pro 2 by Microsoft. However, i've been having issues with the way the pen works and how the program reacts to swiping.
I would like to know if i can change the functionality of the button on the stylus on the Surface Pro, as i often have with my Cintiq tablet. Currently it pulls up the brush menu, when i would like it to function as an eraser.
Further, PS seems to react to any upward swipe from my finger by throwing the view of the canvas wildly to the upper corner, rather than a gentle scroll.
