Issues with versamail..how do i fix it?
i am new to PDA's in general and i did something i don't know how to fix. i was trying to set up my yahoo and gmail thru versamail and i ran into a problem. i was able to set up my gmail acct and after i registered w/ "my treo" i wa able to get messages to my versamail home page. i had to call the tech at sprint to fix my issue w/ my yahoo email since it's a free yahoo acct and not a "plus" and afterwards when i tried to get mail on versamail i got the error: Err invalid username/password. so i deleted my versamail thinking i could just start over which i can't do.
my gmail acct is still there but now i get the error: "all accounts are in use. deleted accounts can be re-used after performing a hotsynch. make sure the versamail conduit is turned on and not set to do nothing"
what does this mean and how do i get my versamail back? i haven't performed the hotsynch yet in case theres another way to fix it. will i have to do a hard reset?
please help. if the question sounds stupid i apologize. as i stated above, i am new to PDA's in general.

I'm in the same boat. I'm on a MAC so I have to use Missing Sync to sync iCal & Mail with my PDA. So, no Versamail conduit to make sure is not set to 'Do Nothing'.
Any help would be appreciated.

Having major issues with InDesign CS6. will upgrade fix???
Having major issues with InDesign CS6. Not only is it crashing, but it is corrupting the existing file. Then when I relaunch, it is not allowing me to open the file again.
In another instance, yesterday I opened an file created 3 months ago and it allowed me to make changes, however I could not save them to the existing file, or not even to a new name.
I had to copy each layer on each page to create a new document. NOT GOOD!!! Just saw that ADOBE has an update for InDesign. WILL THIS FIX THE PROBLEM??Yes, I would certainly get the latest update. That we often solve issues like these, for this is not normal. Some further tips would be quite InDesign, then to trash your InDesign preferences and then re-start InDesign (it will rebuild them again). Some further areas to look into would be:
* Corrupt Font(s) (or corrupt font caches - see below)
* Corrupt Image(s)
* Power Failures (power surges)
* Placing images via drag-and-drop from an Internet page
* Working on an InDesign file over a network or on a remote server

I have been unable to sync my phone with itunes - how can I fix this?
When I link into itunes, I am told that my phone is not registered. I have had my phone for less than 6 months. It worked through the itunes up until May and then I was unable to get it to connect to sync with itunes. I am able to buy products but not share with my other devices. How do I fix this?
The actual error message reads : This Iphone can non be used because the Apple mobile device sevice is not started.

my contact list does not always include a video icon so I can FaceTime with a contact- how can I fix this?
Thanks so much for your reply but that won't help in my current situation. Maybe I didn't make it clear. The latest version of Quicktime as new as it sounds doesn't support screen recording on a powermac G5 Motorola chip with OS 10.5.8 which is the highest os I can go with that machine. If I can sync the two computers so I can get the application to record from my newer computer then I'm ok. I just don't have the recording application for audio that I'm using to demo for the website on the laptop as it's about 10,000 dollars. So, I have to use the older computer to do the audio presentation and try to get the newer computer synced to it so I can use the new version that works on snow leopard to record a screen shot that will hopefully appear on my laptop instead of the old machine. Hope that makes sense. It's a bit confusing but in a nutshell it's like this:
1. I am a Pro Tools Instructor which is the state of the art application and recording device for audio and movie scoring and I have a new job where I make small snippets of tips using Pro Tools which I'd like to record with quicktime on screen as they happen
2. the best version of Quicktime Pro available for the Power Mac, OS 10.5.8 will not do screen recording on it.
3. I can use the Quicktime application from my newer laptop but I need to sync it to the old machine
4. I'm hoping but I don't know, if I do this, that I can record Pro Tools in action from my new machine buy seeing it on this laptop screen and then recording it with the new quicktime.
5. If I can sync the two computers, I'm hoping this can happen but I can't use my ethernet connection as I have it used to connect to my recording console and can't afford to buy anything new like an ethernet hub yo connect the two so I'm hoping that there's another way to connect them.

Issue with container divs, and absolute/fixed positioning
Hello everyone, I have an issue getting my divs to function properly. I have a container div and I want the table div to float inside (and move with page resize). Right now it doesnt move with the page (see photo).
However, when I change the position to relative of that div, it moves under the container div and locks itself there.(Second photo)
Any help would be great! Thanks!

Tried opening Firefox and got error code 502 - problem with server - how do i fix please
i tried to open internet through Firefox as usual and got repeated error message 502 (problem with server - try again in 30 seconds) - but no joy. is there a problem with the server or is there a problem at my end somehow?
tks PaulThanks for the suggestion Rhonda. You're correct in saying this is impractical though. The fact is, I can't open a tab to keep it open. After doing some online research, I was able to locate a site where I could download a previous Firefox version (6.0). Problem solved! Google: "''How can I find a previous version of Firefox''. As I stated in my original question, Mozilla should not update w/o making certain it doesn't create these issues. I spent hours on this. I also turned off auto updates. I appreciate your suggestion. Macbook pro system running slow - etrecheck shows issues - any idea how to apply fixes?
Hi I normally consider myself pretty web savvy but I'm totally lost on what to do here. This computer has been running slow since I got it, but the harddrive went sideways recently. I've never worked with a recovered drive - which I apparently have as my terminal lists my workfolder-2 so....I'm guessing I'm pretty screwed. I learned about etrecheck through the forums here but don't understand how to apply it

Adding some RAM would help. Even though you haven't restarted for 4+ days, this is a little high. The 2 places I’ve seen recommended most to buy reliable RAM are below. I have purchased RAM several times from Other World Computing and have always been very satisfied with the product and service. They have on-line instructions on how to replace the RAM. OWC has also tested RAM above what Apple states is the maximum. I now have 6GB installed on a machine supposedly limited to 4 GB.

Since upgrading to 4.0.1 the email address [email protected] indicates that there is something wrong with any attachment in .pdf format. This happens when I send mail from my yahoo or aol mail accounts when using Mozilla. It does not occur if I'm using those mail accounts and Internet Explorer.
[email protected] lets you see what an email will look like when printed on a subscriber's Presto printer, which is a printer that is used without a computer, it periodically calls a toll-free number and looks for mail sent to that address. I believe anyone can send mail to [email protected] and will receive a reply back, so you could test tweeks to Mozilla that would resolve the problem. This issue started in September or October of 2010, was resolved by Presto at that time, but has not been resolved with the 4.0.1 version.MS offers some advanced features only for its own IE browser and not for other browsers like Firefox.

AutoPlay Issues with Windows (Vista/7) x64 [Fixed]

...about the "solution" I found for restoring autoplay funtionality with non-volume devices (Cameras, Phones, etc...), but while I can dig through the registry just fine the reply button on the forums eludes me.
From what I can tell, the problem is very much related to the way the 32-bit applications of Bridge, Premier and Elements interact with the 64-bit OS when it comes to autoplaying. Looking at event viewer logs and what not shows that the autoplay process effectively crashes or locks up when it attempts to initialize with the Adobe applications in the list.
Anyway, without futher ado, the steps to "correct" the problem.
NOTE: This will remove the autoplay functionality for Bridge, Premier, or Elements (which didn't work with non-volume devices in x64 anyway). Also, this requires going into the Windows registry to fix. If you are not comfortable doing so, then find a techy friend to assist you.
1.) Open Registry Editor
2.) Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ AutoplayHandlers \ EventHandlers \
3.) Right click on EventHandlers, select export, choose a location, and name and save the file. This will save a backup of the registry keys/values you will be deleting should you want to restore them later.
4.) You'll have to go key by key, but you'll want to look for values that contain "Bridge", "Premier", or "Elements" (or other Adobe Products) and remove them.
5.) Now, navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ AutoplayHandlers \ Handlers \
3.) Right click on Handlers, select export, choose a location, and name and save the file. This will save a backup of the registry keys/values you will be deleting should you want to restore them later.
6.) This time you will be deleting any keys (they look like folders) that contain "Bridge", "Premier", or "Elements" (or other Adobe Products) and remove them.
7.) Close the Registry Editor and reboot.
You should now find that your Autoplay functions work perfectly with non-volume devices again.
