It has been not more than 10 days since i bought iphone 5s 32gb and the finger print scanner is not detecting the prints.what to do??is it an issue with the device or iOS??

Standard practices:
Restart the device (power off completely, then back on) - retest.
Reset (hold sleep wake and home buttons until apple logo appears) - you can try this, but it is most useful when your device is frozen.
Restore to factory settings - retest.
Make an appointment at an Apple retail store genius bar if the above did not resolve the issue.

I had issues in 10.4.7 as well as 10.4.8.
My problems occurred at the beginning of 10.4.8, then many users brought light to me using WEP, which was not working that great. I changed my connections to WPA2 and my problem has disappeared. I can't connect to livejournal. It keeps saying that the connection has timed out. It has been almost a full day since this happened. I tried loading livejournal on Explorer, but that didn't work either

When I try connecting to livejournal, it tries for a while, then I get an error page saying that the connection has timed out. What's odd is that usually livejournal gives us a warning when the site will be temporarily offline. When I try connecting to livejournal through Explorer, the same thing happens. I've been hitting the try again button for almost a full day. Again, livejournal doesn't normally go offline this long.

Since downloading firefox my computer has been getting infected every day

What makes you think a replacement "will most likely go bad in the future"? Some have had to go back more than once; many haven't. (And many have not gone in at all.) There are many iBook users out there, happily iBooking away without any knowledge of the iBook Logic Board Repair Extension Program because they've never had a problem.
Get it replaced, free, NOW, and worry about the future when it gets here.

Can someone help me with my iMac track pad? My computer has been off for 10 days and when I turned it on the curser will not move. The green light on the track pad would come on then off so i replaced the batteries in the track pad but it still does not work. Not sure if the grandchildren were on it over the holidays could something be locked on the keyboard?

1. Make sure that battery is in normal condition.
2. Shut down the computer.
    Clean the trackpad with moist not wet microfiber cloth.
    System Preferences > Point & Click
    Try turning off three finger dragging and then turning it on after testing.
3. Is there any Bluetooth device nearby with failing batteries? If so, replace the batteries.

    Choose the method for:
    "Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".
6. Close all windows and quit all applications.

After trying lots I found now in 'Airport Utility is 'unable to detect any airport wireless devises.....'
There is no provider to be seen in airport utility and only 'rescan' is an option with no results...
even so I am connected and can browse the net receive mail etc. and the outgoing 'mail server' is set to the internet provider I am connected to.
Can you enlighten me what can I do I need to use my e-mail program urgently !!!

I'm not sure what "IPS wireless" is, but unless you have an Apple Wi-Fi base station (such as a Time Capsule, AirPort Extreme, or AirPort Express), AirPort Utility won't see anything.
You might try defining a new SMTP server to see if that will work any better.
By the way, the subject field for these messages isn't intended to hold a lot of text. Put a short description of your problem in the subject field and save the rest of your message for the body field.

Change Account Duration for ISE Guest User can not more than 5 days

Extending guest account duration can not more than 5 days.
On portal we can change it to more than 5 days, but the account always expired after next 5 days.
Email notfication sent after change duration also said the account only have 5 days of duration.
I'm using ISE 1.2 patch 2.

Step 1 From the Cisco ISE Administrator interface, choose Administration > Guest Management > Settings > General > Purge.
The Purge Settings page is displayed.
Step 2 To schedule a purge operation, check the Enable purge settings for expired guest accounts check box.
Step 3 Configure the following available options:
a. Enter the purge interval, in number of days. Valid range is 1-365.
b. Specify the hour of the day when the purge should occur.
Date of last purge displays the date and time when the last purge operation occurred.
Date of next purge displays the date and time when the next purge operation is scheduled to occur.
Step 4 To immediately execute a purge of expired guest user records, click Purge Now.
This executes a purge manually even if Enable purge check box is not checked. This option provides you the freedom to purge records whenever you seem fit.
Step 5 Click Save
