It is possible to switch immediately to the new tab when I open a link in a new tab

When I open a link in a new tab, Firefox does not switches to the new tab!
Is there an option like desktop firefox?
tools -> options -> tabs -> "switch to new tab immediately"

Gosu,
As already stated, it doesn't work. I have filed a bug in bugzilla.

• [T500] Is it possible to switch GPUs withoout the PowerMgr tray app?

The tray app is not really a standard size.
This is what I'm talking about:

http://ieatcats.info/0/i/su/tray2.jpg
Is it possible to switch GPUs without the app?
(I have checked the contents of the C:\Program Files (x86)\ThinkPad\Utilities folder, but couldn't find anything useful.
Any ideas?)
Solved!
Go to Solution.

For 32-bit Windows:
"C:\Program Files\ThinkPad\Utilities\PWMUIAux.exe" /HighPerformanceGpu /ShowDialog
"C:\Program Files\ThinkPad\Utilities\PWMUIAux.exe" /EnergySavingGpu /ShowDialog
For 64-bit Windows:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\ThinkPad\Utilities\PWMUIAux.exe" /HighPerformanceGpu /ShowDialog
"C:\Program Files (x86)\ThinkPad\Utilities\PWMUIAux.exe" /EnergySavingGpu /ShowDialog
You still need Power Manager installed, as well as the switchable graphics driver package provided by Lenovo (not AMD/ATI or Intel).
By the way, Firefox Nightly is way faster than Pale Moon.

• Is it possible to switch off all addons by default when starting firefox?

Firefox often runs quite slowly but resetting appears to solve the problem. I tried to identify any problmatic addon but was unsuccessful

'''''Is it possible to switch off all addons by default when starting firefox?'''''
Not really. You can start Firefox in the [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode?esab=a&s=Safe+Mode&r=1&as=s SafeMode], but you would need to restart Firefox to enable your addons.

• When I open a link in a new tab, firefox switches to the new tab

When I open a link and instruct to open in a new tab , it switches me to that tab !
I have under tools>options>tabs>
unchecked "switch to new tab immediately"
And it still switches to the new tab, this is frustrating...

I fixed it by disabling the Divx add-ons in Firefox. Hope that helps you

When I open a link it switches me to that tab even though under tools>options>tabs> I unchecked "switch to new tab immediately". I tried opening Firefox in Safe mode and it still switches to the new tab.

There should definitely be no issue. You can register more than one Apple device with the same Apple ID and get the same apps on both devices without having to pay for the apps again.
Alternatively, if you want all your settings to say the same, do a backup of your old iPod Touch and then whe you receive the new iPod, restore the backup on it and it'll save you the trouble from having to redownload everything.
Cheers.

• Sometimes when I open a link in a new tab and then switch to the tab, the address bar clears and the website won't open.

Sometimes when I open a link in a new tab and then switch to the tab, the address bar clears and I'll have to re open the tab and hope that doesn't happen again. Sometimes this happens again and again. Most of the times if I just open the link in a new tab and don't switch to it, this won't happen. But as I switch too the tab, the text would disappear and the link wouldn't open.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

In Firefox 4 you can use one of these to start in [[Safe mode]]:
* Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
* Hold down the Shift key while double clicking the Firefox desktop shortcut (Windows)

You are right, but how could i send it to Apple? when the phone company first replaced my iphone they had in stock alots of iphones and they just sent mine back to Apple and gave me a new one, so all i did is to give them my phone, but now how could i sent it to Apple? and i cant send it by myself, and the store wont do that, its a lost for them.. so sending it to Apple wasnt an option from the begining.
and for the record, i dont think the store where i bought it is an authorized shop.. its just a store who boughts phone's from Apple in a low price and sells it in much more money..

• "When I open a link in a new tab, switch.." Doesnt work correctly

I'm using Firefox 28.0 (Waterfox build)
I've verified that:
- browser.tabs.loadInBackground: False
- browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground: True
- "When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately" is enabled in the UI.
It seems only some websites actually switch to the new tab. Also, sometimes, this feature will stop working all together; requiring me to toggle the Firefox UI setting and/or restart firefox.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

• New tabs are not updating the names of the sites they have loaded. When I open a new tab and load a site, the tab simply stays named "New Tab". When I open a link in a new window, it shows "Connecting..." even while its fully loaded.

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.

• When I open a link a new window opens with the toolbar and sidebar missing, on my previous machine the link simply opened in a new tab (not window).

When I open a link in Firefox instead of opening a new tab it opens in a new window with all of the toolbars missing including the sidebar, right clicking anywhere gives me no options to restore the toolbars. My old machine simply opened the same link that I am trying in a new tab with all my toolbars available.

• I'm trying to upload some art to a website. When asked to select the art, I select the folder, but when I open it, there is nothing there even though the folder has five pieces of art in it. What is going on?

mozilla is not recognizing that I have art in a folder on my desktop. it recognizes the folder, but when I open it, it's empty. why won't it recognize the contents of the folder?

What is the file extension of those files?
Can you select "All files" in that file picker to see all the files?
It is possible that it is not a supported file type that can be used for uploading.
A web server can specify that.
For instance this website allows these mime types for uploading images:

<nowiki></nowiki>
