Item text is populationg Partially in adobe form

Hi All,
I have a problem in printing item text in adobe form.
item text is having more than 100 lines which is being populated in adobe form.
the subform text is created in layout and there a TEXT node is created which has text
this TEXT node in subform text prints item texts.
now problem is that suppose there are 100 lines in item text then 60 lines are being printed and the rest 40 lines are not printing in adobe in next page... from next page next item text are being printed...
When i increase the page height till some lenght then rest all 100 line is getting printed but in single page...
I want item text to be printed in 1st page and 2nd page also if item text is long ( ie. 60 lines to be printed in page 1 and rest 40 lines should be printed in page 2)

SAP Standard Text (SO10) Character format in Adobe forms

Hi Friends
I created a standradrd text using 'S010' with Few character formats like 'bold' and 'italic' but when created 'Inlude text' element in adobe forms i could see only text coming in pdf output but not the formatting. Is there any way i could get the text character formatting also from standard text to adobe?. I appreciate your help.

How do I get access to saved partially completed Adobe Form submissions?

I use Adobe formscentral for a grants program and have had added the 14 day save feature in to help applicants with their submissions.
Have had a woman say she has not received the link to re-access her saved half completed form. How can I access/have this re-sent to her?

I am afraid that we don't have an easy way to get her the link, but you may ask her to check her spam/junk mail folders, the email may be filtered out from her inbox.

Printing text on last page of adobe form

But this has to be printed only on the last page.

I will recommend you to use smart forms ...

Also there is a New tool called Adobe Flex whose integration with SAP is being discussed and worked upon in experimental stage .. the said tool has vertical text capability
but its not recommended because of lack of extensive testing with regards to Association with SAP

Simple way is to use layout format like "X_65_80" or "X_90_120"

Using formats of SO10 text in Adobe forms

Hello guys,
I got a question concerning the interaction of SO10 texts with adobe form text fields.
I know there are some threads about it here, and I think I understand the default SAP behavior, but can you please confirm if I am right? Then I got a special question about one case.
So is it right that there is only the difference between formatting the textfield itself in adobe form layout and adding a style to the text field in form context?
This means:
(1) Whenever in my text field in form context no style is added, the adobe form will take the formatting like it is done in the adobe form layout? This would mean that every format which is entered in the SO10 text is insignificant for the adobe form?
(2) Whenever in my text field a style is added, SAP will use SO10 text formats? This means, SAP searches for the smartforms style which is entered in the textfield and uses the formats from SO10 text like they were defined in the smartforms style?
Is this correct so far?
Now the special questions:
(1) What happens if a style is added, but the style does not exist as smartforms style. Which font etc. will be used then?
(2) What happens if a style is added, but the format of SO10 text does not exist in the smartform style?
In both cases it looks like SAP takes some "default" style, but where does it come from?

Standard text having '&ULINE&' not printed in adobe form????

I have a standard text in so10 which is to be used in my adobe form .
The standard text uses '&ULINE&' to print a line . This when used by script was interpreted and a line is being printed.
But when the same standard text is inluded in the adobe form , it throws a runtime
error saying that " Field '&ULINE&' does not exist".
Could some one help me out how to get this standard text printed in adobe form.

Adobe Forms On Portal

Hi Experts,
My requirement is i need to create the interactive adobe form and this adobe form is finally accessed through portal and there are some approval process involved in this scenario. Now my doubt is do i need to create the adobe form through webdynpro stack or can i create the form and interface directly in transaction "SFP". If i create the form using SAP GUI is it possible to access such forms through portal. I need your suggestions and comments on this.
Finally my doubt is can we access the interactive adobe forms which are developed in transaction "SFP" through portal, and my print program also exists in the ABAP editor which has logic to fetch and display the data into adobe forms.
or do we need web dynpro application to access the interactive adobe form through portal.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info, actual my requirment is when ever user login into portal he will find list of purchase orders then in the object work list(OWL). He will choose one record and click edit button then the adobe form corresponding to that purchase order should open in edit mode, now here my question is how can my print program in SAP GUI know that the user has choosen particular purchase order, i will fetch the data based on my selection criteria and i can display data according to that, but how can i display the data in edit mode when the user has choosen some record from OWL.
For example : if user selects purchase order 123 from object work list then the same purchase order 123 header and item details should open in the adobe form in edit mode. If my application is developed in SAP GUI side then how can my application program fetch the data related to pirchase order 123 in portal. When i write an ABAP program i will write the logic to fetch and display the data according to my selection criteria, i am unware of what is happening at protal side how can one map my selection criteria details to the record selected in object work list, is this possible , if not what is the alternative way. kindly suggest
For such type of requirement, what exactly need to be done either web dynpro interactive form or SAP GUI interactive form.

In Adobe forms - the space between items more

Hi Experts,
While displaying the ouput through adobe forms , the space between the items is more.
Please suggest me how to reduce the blanklines inbetween the items.
Even I made the subform content as 'FLOWED' and also in context for some fields i added condition if TB_ITEM-TEXT NE space ..
I tried by Events with scripts as,
if ( $.rawValue eq null )
then
$.presence = "hidden";
endif
still space between the items is not reduced. Please help me out from this.

In print program by using read text function module am capturing item texts. If item text exists am setting flag .
with that flag, in adobe form in context am checking condition if flag field not equal to space then it will enter for item text field.
even after this..item texts not exists but in the output spaces are not truncated.

My output is like this :
In table am dispalying matnr, desciption, unit of measure , quantity , amount ....

     abc

in the above format 10 and 20 are line items.
inbetween this line items ab, abc are the two text fields which displaying material Sales text and Itercompnay text.
if items texts not exist,
I want output should get displayed as like this,
10 8910047 CILPENETR PC 30 20,000
20 22447   VALVE     PC 20 30,000
inbetween 10 and 20 spaces should be truncated if those fields value is empty.
In subform Pallets -> Object -> Subform, alreday its 'Flowed' and Flow direction as 'Western Text'.
Please help me out.

Attaching same style in Standard text as well as adobe form

Hi Experts,
I have created 2 styles. One in se72 and second one in smatstyles.
But when i use 1st one in standard text, i can't see this style in adobe form to attach.
And 2nd one i can see it in adobe form but i can't see in standard text.
I want only 1 style to be used in both places.
Please help.

Hello,
You can achive this in two ways.
First - Go to the form interface and right click on the node create a text field in the form context.
In the properties tab on the right hand side of your form context you can specify Text Type.
Following Text type can be selected.
Include Text
Text Module
Dynamic Text.
As per your requirement select Include Text and then specify the NAME, LANG & TEXT ID for the text.
Once this is specified you can add this text field on the form layout.
NOTE: This normally works only if you maintain this text in the header or footer on the form but not at the line item level.
There are few issues when you try to print this text at the line item level.
To overcome this if your requirement is at the line item level follow second method mentioned below.
User READ_TEXT to read the standard text in your driver program. Then Pass the internal table returned with the text from this FM to another FM FORMAT_TEXTLINES.
This table is then used to map it on the adobe form. The second function module takes care of formatting.

Hello All,
I am new to adobe forms.
i need to display billing items, in the adobe form .
i have created interface, and imported this table. till here i am clear. but i dont klnow how to display
this information in layout.
i need to diaply heading and under that relevant data. i ahve total 100 row in billing items table.
please guide me how to acheive this.
P.S.: i ahve gone through forum, all of them are takling about, some dynamic display, and table inside table.....this kind of advanced stuff.

Hi Amarender,
Try using a Two subform layout for displaying the tabular format. The design should be this way.
>Parent Subform (Flow Layout and Flow direction is Table and Allow Page break within contents checked)
>Column Header(use static Text)
>Child Subform(Flow Layout and Flow Direction is Table Row)
>Columns binding(user text field and bind it to the Value node attribute and Repeat subfom item checked)
This is how u display the data in Table format in PDF.

How to display line items corresponding to Header adobe form

As I am new to Adobe Form, So struggling with below problem related with Adobe Form.
For example, I have data in an internal table :
Stage      item
100         A
100         B
100         C
200         D
200         E
Here you have for field 'Stage' value '100' , I have 3 line items, for value '200' , it is 2 line items and so on.
My requirement is , I have to show Stage field at top and corresponding line items should be displayed in table.
Stage: 100
item
A
B
C
Stage: 200
D
E
I have used Nested table concept to achieve it but didn't get expected output.
Please help me out.

     If all of your line items are getting displayed in different pages, to my knowledge, there may be two possibilities.
1) May be the size of the main window can accomodate only one line item. If one item data fills up the window, then there wont' be any space for the next line item data to be accomodated in the same window in the same page, so, the system triggers the next page. Like-wise for each item data. If this is the case, increase the height of the main window to display items in same page.
2) Check the driver program. Find the Write_form block, which is written inside an item loop. May be there is a Form-control Function module( Control_form with parameter 'NEW-PAGE' ) being called after the write_fom block, within the loop. If this is the case, remove the control_form FM section to make the data display in same page.

How to pass multiple items in Adobe forms to a Webservice

I'm trying to create Interactive Form to create a sales order in R/3.
Please somebody tell me how to pass the multiple line item data to the Webservice.
For example, the Webservice I'm using was generated from BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFORMDAT2.
The BAPI has tables for item data in sales order.
However, when I create the form with table for item data, the only last line of the table is passed to the Webservice.
How can I create Adobe forms to pass multiple line item to the Webservice.

I have worked on the same application for the creation sales order and has used the same BAPI.
You should first extract the data from the table node through the method "get_static_attributes_table" and take all the result into a table of type same as element of that particular node.
Now pass the data from this table into the internal table of type as mentioned in the BAPI using work area.
And pass this table to BAPI.
This will work .

How to use the separate symbol in the text field in the adobe form.

Hi,experts,
I dont know how to use the separate symbol to make a paragraph separate into several lines correctly in the text field in the adobe form.
Action:
1. config the ADS successfully.
2. create the adobe form with a mult-line textfield(binding the 'remark' context in the interface of the form) using sfp.
3. create a WDA for invoke the form and transfer the 'remark' context data.
I use the following codes to display the paragraph in the PDF document:
CONCATENATE
'1、aaaaaaaaaaa；'
'2、bbbbbbbbb '
'3、ccccccccccc'
'4、ddddddddd'
INTO remark .
lo_nd_z_hr_php_payslip->set_attribute(
EXPORTING
name = `REMARK`
value = remark ).
But I found all the content aren't paragraph separate correctly in the text field in the adobe form when I run the WDA.
Could you please give me some hints to make the paragraph separate correctly in PDF document? Thanks a lot in advance!

If it is just a one word value then you could use this in the exist event;
this.rawValue
= util.printx(">?<*",this.rawValue);
This changes the first character (represented by the ?) to uppercase (represented by the >) and all trailing characters (represented by the *) to lowercase (represented by the <).
If you wanted something more general ... if they could also enter a middle name then you could call a function like;
function toTitleCase(textValue)
return textValue.toLowerCase().replace(/\b[a-z]/g, function replacer(match) { return match.toUpperCase(); });
This uses a regex to change all lowercase letters following a word boundary to uppercase.

I need to print the item texts when the status is 'N' and at the same time the status is blank in the same form.
I tried using t165p.I'm unable to print the both the message status with N and blank at the same time.

Thanks yes, now it get captured soon after changed the item accordingly as you said.
so there is no need of creating hidden item for those item (i.e) &P1_DIS_COURSE_NAME. AND &P1_DIS_DATE.
