Items not appearing in cascading dynamic list (not maximum items)

I am having an issue with cascading prompts in Crystal Reports 2008. I have two cascade levels in this report. The report worked fine for a few months until we recently noticed some items were not showing up on the first list. In the database, there are 186 values but only the first 162 are showing up in the selection list. The maximum value for the list is 200 (this has been confirmed by running another report with more than 200 items -- the list is displayed in 2 batches).
Crystal reports IS able to retrieve all the items for certain functions. For example, when I browse data in the field explorer, all the items appear. Also, when I run the select expert.. record.. and choose the {field name} is equal to option from the drop-down list, all items are displayed in the list of options on the right-hand side.
If I re-enter the prompts without the second level cascade (no cascading) then all the items appear in the list.
I created a new report from a blank report that contains only the 2 tables necessary to repeat the error (linked the same way as in the original report). The exact same behavior was observed for the newly created report.

I have created two .csv files with the data from the two tables and a new .rpt file that uses the .csv files. I was going to attach them so you can see the behavior, but I cannot see how to do this. Is it possible to attach files to messages on this forum?

Item billing plan lines not appearing in billing due list ...

I have one question on service contract billing plan. Contract has status released.
I have one contract which has header billing plan that is applicable at line item also.
1. At line item level billing plan two items are due for billing but in billing due list this line item does not appear. Some of the lines in Item billing plan are already billed.
Also at item billing plan there is no check (tick mark) for Header Billing Plan.
Can some one suggest what are the possible checks for item billing plan not appearing in billing due list.

I created report (using Crystal Reports 2008) in which one of my parameters displays a dynamic LOV from a field. When I run the report in Crystal, I get to select which values I want for record selection in my report.
However, when I save this report and run it on the Crystal Server (2008) using infoview, I do not get the dynamic LOV. Rather, I have to manually type a value that I want to select.
Why does the LOV's not work when I run it through Crystal Server? Another thing, when I access it from Crystal Server through Crystal Reports, I still lose the dynamic LOV option.
How do I use parameters so that I can select from a dynamic list a values? It behaves normally in Crystal Reports 2008 but loses it's functionality on the Server.

This just started happening to me as well, the reports I created (using standalone crystal reports 2008) contain dynamic parameters and suddenly they stopped working as intended in some reports.
I noticed that when the datasource is a single table or a single view the cascading (nested) dynamic parameters and dropdowns are working fine, but when the datasource is two or more linked tables, the parameters prompt shows two empty text boxes instead of two dropdowns. I tried refreshing and verifying the database but nothing works. So until we find a real solution, we're basing all our reports on single views.
This remains a serious problem because in some cases we don't have write access to the database to create views, and basically we're recreating all the reports that now suffer from this problem.

Cascading Dynamic Parameters Do Not Work In Crystal Viewer 2008?

I have generated a report with Crystal Reports 2008 that uses a dynamic cascading parameter. I work in waste management and the report I create in Crystal is used as a "template" with the tonnages collected from all of our customers. Our less technically minded employees can then open this report with Crystal Reports Viewer 2008, use the drop down menus to select only the customer they need a report for and then export this to PDF for delivery.
The report as designed works perfectly in Crystal Reports, but the parameter does not work in Crystal Viewer.
Some of our customers have more than one physical location that we service. The cascading dynamic parameter in my report allows you to select the customer name, and then it only shows the locations linked to that customer, so the end user can select only the relevant location(s) for the report. The cascading parameter is dynamic and allows multiple selections, and is linked to a Saved Data formula. The report is saved with the data.
When the report is opened in Viewer, one of two things happens. If the report is saved in Crystal Reports and a specific customer/location is selected, then ONLY those selected customer/locations are available in the Viewer. If ALL the customers/locations are selected in Crystal Reports and saved, then in the Viewer they are all available, but selecting one customer does NOT narrow down the locations (i.e. it does not "cascade") and instead ALL of the locations are available even if they do not apply to the customer.
If I use a single dynamic parameter and select ALL of the customers (for example), then when this is opened in Crystal Viewer all of the customers are available from the parameters drop down and the report works fine. As soon as this is tried with a cascading parameter however, Crystal Viewer falls down.
Does anyone know of a workaround to this or if there is something I am doing wrong?

I am using the free Crystal Report 2008 Viewer along with designing reports with Crytal Reports ver 12.3. With a test file from SAP called "Interactive Parameters", the parameter feature works to refresh the report. The parameters that are supplied in the sample report work with Viewer. They show up under the parameter list in the parameter side panel in Viewer and are available to make record selections. When I add a parameter to the sample report in Crystal 2008 and then view the report in Viewer, my parameters are unavalable for record selection while the original parameters remain available. Futher, my parameters are displayed under a section called "Current Data Set" in the Parameter side panel, while the selectable parameters are displayed under the "Parameter" section in the parameter side panel. There must be a setting that is treating the parameters I create differently form the parameters created in the original sample report. Any help would be appreciated.

Urgent:SUS PO not appearing in the PO list for vendor's user

I am working on SUS. SRM5.0 single box scenario. PO is created by the purchaser and is successfully transfered through XI. But this PO is not appearing in the PO list of vendor's user. Please let me know what can be the possible reason.

Are vendors successfully replicated into SRM and a user created via Web
Txn "Manage Business Partners"?
Did you maintain table BBP_MARKETP_INFO?
Did you replicate the company code using Txn BBP_SUS_BP_ADM?
In any case there is also an inital replication of vendors
from MM to SUS via BD14 necessary.

Start by rebooting the computer. If that doesn't work, search for adobefnt*.lst and delete all instances where * becomes a 2-digit number.

Attribute substitution not working in templates for dynamic lists

dynamic lists were introduced in APEX 4.1 and they can be used for drop-down menus. I am trying to use attribute substitution #A01#...#A10# in the templates without success.
Here is a sample select statement

The substitution is not being made. It looks like a bug but maybe I'm missing something.

When the list query is parsed, it's not the column alias that deciphers which parameters you're trying to set, it's the positioning of the parameter in the query itself. So, for example, if a user wishes to set the #A01# attribute, like in your case, then the value returned by the 8th parameter in the query will be used. In your original query, you only supplied 6 parameters i.e. up to the image attribute setting. If you're not setting anything for the image attributes, then you simply set those values to null. The syntax for the query should be similar to the following:

To find the messages in the mean time from the main message queue do a search:
Options>search setup up the options as follows it will show all unopened messages.

My camera does not appear in the source list on 9.2.3

after updating my camera software, my camera no longer appears in the source list on iphoto '11. I am running version 9.2.3 of iphoto on a MacBook (OS X 10.6.8). I'm not sure how to revert to the previous verson befor the update. Any ideas?

Since you do not tell us any information about the actual problem except that it does not work a couple of things to try are generally the problem - make sure the camera is set to mass storage mode - that is what iPhoto expencts - and once you get your photos safely off the card (image capture maybe or if it moiunts to the desktop the finder) use the camera to reformat it

Videos do not appear on IN Videos list

I have purchased several videos from the iTunes music store. NONE of the appear in my iTunes "video" list.
They appear in my purchased list. They appear in my library. I can watch the videos without problem. I am warned about adding videos to music playlists.
I cannot drag videos to the video list. Purchased videos do not appear in my video list.
I have created a standard playlist and moved all of my videos there.
Has anyone else seen this?

Do the amounts appear on report CJID? I believe the WBS will not appear on the Settled values report, because it's already shown on the error list and the settlement on the WBS is not complete yet. What is the error on the WBS anyway?

Adobe Printer did not appear in the printer list after installing Acrobat Pro 12 month Subscription on Windows 7 Ultimate. I tried installing manually as per instructions but no help. Any suggestions?

I uninstalled and reinstalled and followed all the same procedures including manually adding a printer usuing the 10 Adobe PDF Converters in the Xtras folder. No Success.

One solution for AppleTV not appearing in iTunes Devices list

So, this may not be everyone's problem, but I noticed I was having trouble seeing my AppleTV in iTunes sources list when my iBook (the syncing computer) was on wireless, but not when i was plugged into the router via ethernet.
Perplexed by this, I kept investigating and discovered I couldn't even ping the AppleTV when on the iBook was on wireless, but if I plugged into the ethernet, again - it worked. (the AppleTV connects to my router wirelessly, though for the first big sync I had them both on ethernet.)
Anyhow, I don't know if this is happening in the router, or in the AppleTV, but the solution was ... to change my laptop's name in sharing preferences.
This also changes the bonjour name, and that somehow was confusing either the router or the AppleTV since I guess two LAN IP addresses had the same bonjour name.
I suppose it might also work to force the router to give the same IP address to me whether I'm connected to the router via ethernet or airport. I'm not sure. All I know is, I changed the computer name and now I can ping the appletv when the ibook is connected to the router wirelessly, and the AppleTV appears in the Devices list in iTunes when the iBook is connected via wireless so... I'm happy.

Yeah ,this only worked temporarily. I don't know what's going on with my router and my AppleTV but it's proving impossible to reliably sync to the AppleTV when both the AppleTV and my iBook (the syncing computer) are connected to my router wirelessly. Sometimes, fiddling with the router fixes it, sometimes rebooting the AppleTV fixes it, but invariably, the time comes when I can ping and see the AppleTV from my desktop (connected to the router via ethernet) and not from the iBook (connected wirelessly)
