Iterator in dynamic region located in a popup does not refreshed on cancel

i have the following scenario:
I have jsff made as a taskflow and added into a page on the following way:

I use this jsff, opened in a popup to create/edit rows. I create the new row into the main page backing bean method and when calling fragment it's iterator is get synch. with the created row. When i pass the row for edit , it is also synch with a fragment iterator.
The problem comes if i using the cancel button in a popup , then the iterator doesn't refresh anymore when i open again the popup. It stays on the last row where it was before pressing the cancel. I try to execute setCurrentRowWithKey with passing th key as param to the taskflow but method is also didn't executed.
I removed my logic from the cancel button and it's also the same.
I tried with built-in cancel on af:dialog - again the same.
It looks that submition with immediate =true and closing popup is enough to causing this.
I have Refresh="ifNeeded" on a taskFlow but this causes only refresh of input taskflow parameters.

Help! After validation failure, Detail region of Master Detail page does not refresh.

Hello.
I am running a validation to prevent deletion of a purchase order (PO) when invoices exist for the PO.
When the condition is found (invoices exist), the deletion process is halted and a message is posted to the page.
I would like for both Master and Detail data of the PO to be refreshed. However, only the Master
record is refreshed. I get the following error for the detail data: The detail is found through the Master Header primary Key (DetailRecord.PO_ID = :P230_PO_ID )
ORA:01445: Cannot select ROWID from, or sample, a join view without a key preserved table.
ORA-06510 - PL/SQL unhandled user-defined exception.
I'm not sure why this message should come up. I do not clear cache or reset the page or anything like that.
Any hints?

Just an FYI for everybody who may have this very same problem in the future. I fixed the error and it had nothing to do with ROWID or views or anything like that. Under the Page Rendering section where you define the region definition under the source section, I had included the 'order by' clause in my SQL statement. This was the cause of my ORA-01445 error! When I removed the clause from the source definition and instead included it within the Report Attributes by checking the Sort box for the appropriate column (thus allowing APEX to generate the sort for me), the error disappeared! The Oracle error message would NEVER have given me a clue into what caused the error. I just happened to think 'what if I take the order by clause out'! How's that for a flukey fix!

ADF Dynamic region in a popup does not load

Hi Experts,
JDEV version used 11.1.1.5
I have a page which has a table and each row has a command link on one of the columns.
When I click on the command link an action listener is invoked which decides the DYNAMIC TF that is to be loaded in a pop up .
The pop up has a dynamic adf region in it.
Based on the record clicked (using command link) task flow is loaded in the dynamic region of the the Popup .
But, when i click the same link for the second time or a different record the popup is displayed as blank , The taskflow in the dynamic region is not loaded at all.(getDynamicTaskFlowId is invoked and is also returing the correct TF to be loaded)
First time it works as expected , but its not happening from the second time.
I have used conditional activation , but later due to the above issue I have tried to put an expression #{true} for the active property to test if it works. It didn't.
Please note that first time there is no issue.It does not work from the second click on same record or any other record.
Any other suggestions to fix the above issue are much appreciated.

I cannot update or install updates on itunes. It says that the location for that file does not exist. I cant even uninstall itunes as the same error message comes up.

My location service on Google does not work. It will not bring up my location. Also nothing is getting saved in my history folder in my bookmark.

I have the same issue, I think. If I open Safari and search Walmart (google is my default search) it doesn't give me location results, and there is a little button at the top that says 'Use Precise Location.' If I tap that button nothing happens. Very frustrating. I've checked all my settings against my wife's iPhone, and my iPad, both of which work, and I can't find anything different.

Have you tried Settings>Privacy>Location Services and see if you can turn it on in there?
Obviously it has to be an app that works with location services so if it is and nothing else works, delete the app and download it again to make it ask again if you want to allow your location to be used with it.

The website may be using autocomplete=off to prevent Firefox from saving the name and password.
You can remove autocomplete=off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox save the name and password.

My setting have changed: location in navigation toolbar does not work; there is no firefox safe mode in folder

Something has changed in my settings. If I have the navigation toolbar, my page extends all the way across the screen and I can not see the right hand part. There is nothing in location and I can not enter anything in it. I just get a message that page does no exist when I try. I can not start firefox in the safe mode as it does not exist in my folder. and there is no folder containing my localstore.rdf.

I'm using IE8 to view the help as this is our target but I've also tested with Firefox 3.6.8. The behaviour remains the same in all cases.
In addition I have tested the same System Administrator help module:
while resident on my C:\
while resident on a shared networked drive (inside and outside of my network domain); and
while hosted on a SharePoint server.
I spotted this problem while testing our upgrade from RH7 to RH9 but I've since tested earlier versions of the deliverables and found that the problem was there when we were using RH7; we simply missed it .

Skillbuilders modal popup v2. - popup does not open, can't figure out why..

Hi, I am using APEX v4.1 and have used skillbuilders modal popup v2 successfully in the past. For some reason, it is working on one page (calling page 700 to pull up popup page 360) but not working on another page (calling page 900 to pull up popup page 920).
Both modal popup pages are called from HTML buttons using dynamic actions.
Does anyone have ideas for debugging.

This is a large application, and I have had difficulty posting to apex in the past because the schema is too large and cannot be exported...but at least it gives you an idea.
I am trying to rewrite p900 as it is much too complicated, and thought the modal popup would help in terms of adding new rows and validating, rather than using collections. This code was inherited, so I am a bit confused myself...but hoping to make progress.
The button in question is called TRIPHEADER (add/edit trip header).

Commandbutton inside popup does not fire action/actionlistener methods

I am using 11.1.1.4.0
I have a page and on click of a button on that page, I launch a popup (using showpopupbehaviour, triggertype="click") which has a region (taskflow) inside it. The region is within a af:panelWindow inside the popup. I have also added 2 commandbuttons in the popup. Everything works fine, but the when the popup is visible, and I click the 2 command buttons on the popup, it does not execute the action method (or actionListener) method that I defined for those buttons. Any idea why this must be happening?

Multiple Select List does not Refresh with Dynamic Action

All,
Scenario:
Using APEX 4.2.2, I have a Select List page item (P4_SPONSOR) set to allow multiple values which has a dynamic LOV to populate the list. What I would like to do is highlight the display values based on another page item's value (P4_DRIVER_ID). When I set the source of P4_SPONSOR to static text, such as a delimited string of 1:2:3:4, any display values where the return values are equal to the static text are highlighted when the page loads.
Problem:
The problem lies in trying to use a query as a source for P4_SPONSOR which is filtered based on the other page item, P4_DRIVER_ID. For instance, my SQL Query (returning colon separated values) returns the same as the static text noted above. In the query's WHERE clause, I specify that the driver's ID is equal to P4_DRIVER_ID:

WHERE driver_id = :P4_DRIVER_ID;
This, as I understand it, would necessitate a refresh of P4_SPONSOR whenever the value of P4_DRIVER_ID changes. So, I have a Dynamic Action that does just that. When executed on the page, I can see the P4_SPONSOR multiple select list actually refresh, but none of the display values become highlighted.

A dynamic action refresh of your select list will refresh the list of values (this is what you are seeing), it will not refresh the value of the item itself. In fact, it will remove any values that you had already selected. To refresh the value you will need to add additional dynamic actions.
Create another dynamic action with:
Event: After Refresh
Selection Type: Item(s)
Item(s): P4_SPONSOR
If this was a normal select list you could just create a Set Value action and use your query to set the value of the select list. Since this is a multiple select list your will need to get your colon delimited value first and then use some javascript to set the values of your select list.
Create an hidden page item name P4_SPONSOR_TEMP.
Add a true action to your new dynamic action:
Action: Set Value
Set Type: SQL Statement
SQL Statement:
SELECT sponsor_id
FROM sponsors_drivers_xref
WHERE driver_id = :P4_DRIVER_ID;
Page Items to Submit: P4_DRIVER_ID

Detail region does not refresh when selecting from a drop-down list in master region

I am using DW CS3 and have updated to version 1.6.1 of Spry. Using an XML dataset, I am able to create a Spry table as the master region that links to a detail region that displays a small JPG graphic. It works fine in this format (clicking on a row displays the correct graphic). However, my table has 80 rows and requires the user to do too much scrolling. So I changed the master region to a drop-down repeat list, but the graphic does not change when a new selection is made in the drop down list. Listed below is the code produced when I used the insert Spry Repeat List. I got the same results when adding a spry:setrow="dsChartNurse". I also tried -- onclick="dsChartNurse.setCurrentRow('{ds_RowID}');" -- which again made no difference.
When I removed children from the spry:repeat, the master region displayed as a two column list of all 80 items in a drop-down list format.

Thanks for the quick reply. I did solve the problem I was having by changing from onclick to onchange in the master region. But, now I have another problem with, of course, IE. I just put in online at http://www.minursemap.org/ageDistNurse.html. When opened in IE, the drop down list displays the last entry, but the image is for the first in the list. New window popup does not open on Windows

when I open an new window in a Premiere HTML5 extension on Mac, it works,
but no window opens on Windows.

Trying to apply moveTo() or focus() after open() returns Cannot call ... method of undefined.
I wonder what causes this, probably it just gets blocked. By Windows? Premiere on Windows? Chrome in the extension on Windows?
Is there something I can do about this?
I cannot open it in the default browser because ultimately the window popup is a Paypal popup
opened by a webpage loaded in an iframe- which gives the same result as trying to open a window directly from within the extension as described above,

This is a known issue of CEP; we disabled these methods (with window.open() or <a href=url >) to open a new page. A work around is using API CSInterface.openURLInDefaultBrowser(url) to open it in system default browser. I am afraid that CEP does not provide other work around methods if openURLInDefaultBrowser() cannot suit your requirements.

You plugin assembly (OpportunityPlugins.Plugins.PostOpportunityUpdateEstCloseDt) has a reference to v.5.0.9690.2165 of the Microsoft.Xrm.Client assembly, and the error indicated that v.5.0.9690.2165 of the Microsoft.Xrm.Client assembly is not available in
the new environment
Ideally, plugins should not use the Microsoft.Xrm.Client assembly, but instead use the Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk assembly, which will always be available. So, the preferred solution would be to recreate the plugin assembly without the reference to the Microsoft.Xrm.Client

An alternate solution, which may be quicker, would be to recompile the plugin assembly against whichever version of the Microsoft.Xrm.Client assembly is on the system, but this won't solve potential future errors with future Crm versions

Region does not refresh in Address ESS.

Dear all experts,
When updating address of employee who belongs to Kuwait country group on web portal ESS, all regions are Kuwait specific and regions do not refresh if employee chooses a different country to update emergency or permanent addresses.
Can you help on this problem?

You have to create a new address using the NEW button from the overview screen in order to enter a new country within the address screens. You cannot update country within the existing addresses as they screens will not update based on the new country selection. In fact the country should not even be an open field on the screen when in edit mode. If you do not have a NEW button on the overview screen, please check your configuration for subtypes for ESS within the IMG.
