does anyone have anu syggestions on how i can remedy any/all of the above errors?

I have sucessfully solved my own problem - all my .h & .m files were sitting in a folder named ipad for some reason, and this was throwing the error.

    Hello wallydt,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
For more information on this, take a look at:
Resolve specific iTunes update and restore errors
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3694
    Check USB connections
If there’s an issue with the USB port, cable, dock, or hub, or if the device becomes disconnected during restore, try troubleshooting the USB connection, then troubleshooting your security software.
    Common errors: 13, 14, 1600-1629, 1643-1650, 2000-2009, 4000, 4005, 4013, 4014, 4016, “invalid response”, and being prompted to restore again after a restore completes.
To narrow down the issue, you can also change up your hardware:
    Use another USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port on your computer.
Try a different dock connector (or no dock).
Add (or remove) a USB hub between your device and computer.
Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, with no routers, hubs, or switches.
If you see your error after changing your USB connections, continue to the next section to troubleshoot your hardware.
    Best of luck,

  • ITMS-9012 Error uploading package in iTunes Producer

    Hi Everyone,
I have searched everywhere for this error number but can't seem to find anything about it.
We finally completed our book, and filled out all of the required info for our paid iBook (we have an ISBN, tax and operational iTunes Connect account) but when I try and upload the package via iTunes Producer I get several errors. All of them are ITMS-9012 and it follows with this: "No NCX Extension found for NavPoint" and will reference different pages. When I check some of the pages it references there are no superfluous items on the page (and not even any 'links' for the page, some of them are strictly text content).
I am baffled. It took over 4 hours to upload the file and now it seems I need to re-upload but I don't know how to fix the issue before I do. I tried using the Book Proofer app but that seems to only work with non iBA books.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I don't know if this is an issue after all. After checking my iTunes Connect account, I can see that the book is in my account so it appears to have uploaded successfully even though I got that strange error message.

  • Difficulties submitting to iTunes Connect

    Hello everyone,
As of this morning, I am having troubles submitting an iOS app to iTunes connect, either via Xcode 4.5.1 or Application Loader 2.7 running on OSX 10.8.2: I get the dreaded "An error occurred talking to the iTunes Store", along with
Xcode[1215]: *** Error: An error occurred while deserializing the JSON request.  Error Message - Invalid JSON character sequence (<) at index 1
    in the Console.
As it turns out, "Validating" an application yields the same result.  Is anyone else having a similar issue?
I looked through existing discussions; some of them mentioned having unsupported characters in the bundle name, but my bundle name is only in ASCII.
If anyone has an idea/suggestion, it'd be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Michael

iTunesconnect site seems to be working now, though incredibly slow. I guess there are still issues with it, because I'm still seeing
Xcode[49363]: *** Error: An error occurred while deserializing the JSON request.  Error Message - Invalid JSON character sequence (<) at index 1
when validating or submitting my app via XCode. I'll wait but hopefully this doesn't take too long.

  • Invalid signature error on submission to iTunes connect

I'm at the hair-tearing out end of stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've developed an app using Build.Phonegap and MVC4 for IOS. Now I'm stuck on the final hurdle: submitting the app to iTunes connect through APP Loader.
I successfully uploaded the application. And then, immediately after I get an email that reads as follows: -
Invalid Signature - Make sure you have signed your application with a distribution certificate, not an ad hoc certificate or a development certificate. Verify that the code signing settings in Xcode are correct at the target level (which override any values at the project level). Additionally, make sure the bundle you are uploading was built using a Release target in Xcode, not a Simulator target. If you are certain your code signing settings are correct, choose "Clean All" in Xcode, delete the "build" directory in the Finder, and rebuild your release target.
Once these issues have been corrected, go to the Version Details page and click "Ready to Upload Binary." Continue through the submission process until the app status is "Waiting for Upload." You can then deliver the corrected binary.
I've checked, re-checked and double-checked again the certificate.p12 and the provisioning profile. They all look good to me, set to distribution not 'ad hoc'. The deployment type is set to 'Apple Ap store'.

    please help me out

  • App submited to iTunes connect is crashing iOS sharing

    Hi,
I'm working on the app with share extension. Sharing works as it supposed to when I run app on my iPhone 6 through Xcode. But after submitting it to iTunes connect and installing it via Testflight, my share extension crashes any app that is trying to use sharing functions (right after pressing share button, when user should see share dialog).
Also, when I create adhoc build and install it through itunes everything's fine, but after installing via testflight crashing will start. I believe there's problem with creating "right" build of extension, but I have no idea what can be wrong.
Only suspicious thing for me is "...in build/Debug-iphoneos" right next to extension.appex in app target > Build Phases > Embed App Extensions. Maybe this is the problem?
These logs are generated when trying to share photo from Photos app:
    MobileSlideShow.crash: http://pastebin.com/k8e6rTK2
    pkd.crash: http://pastebin.com/D7xbf4SL
I can confirm this happens on my iPhone 6 (8.1.3) and colleagues' iPhone 6 (8.2) Hope it helps. Thanks.

my itouch is connected to a wifi and when i open up the app to the itunes store i wait about 10 minutes and it still says "loading".. when i connect my ipod to the computer into itunes, it'll show up. but its just trying to connect it to the itunes store via wifi.

  • Invalid Binary error in the new iTunes Connect

Hi, I tried to upload an app to itunes connect and I get a message saying "Invalid Binary". I also get the following email from Apple:
    Dear developer,
We have discovered one or more issues with your recent delivery for "AppName". To process your delivery, the following issues must be corrected:
Invalid Signature - the main app bundle AppName at path AppName.app is signed but the signature is invalid. The following error(s) were reported from codesign:
a sealed resource is missing or invalid
Refer to the Code Signing and Application Sandboxing Guide and Technical Note 2206 for more information.
Once these issues have been corrected, you can then redeliver the corrected binary.
    Regards,
    The App Store team
    Please help!

  • When I was trying to download ITUNES Connect, I received an Authentication Error.  Cannot find iTunes Connect user. (2002) (2002)

    To Whom it May Concern:
    Can someone offer suggestions?

    Hi irene85,
From the information you provided, it sounds like we are attempting to access iTunes Connect:
    What is iTunes Connect?
iTunes Connect is a suite of web-based tools that allow you to submit and manage your apps for distribution on the App Store and Mac App Store.
In iTunes Connect you can check the status of your contracts, set up your tax and banking information, obtain sales and finance reports, request promotional codes, and manage users, apps, metadata, and your In-App Purchase catalog.
As you see above, iTunes Connect requires a Apple Developer account. It is our service for Developers to distribute their content across our Stores. It sounds like your Apple ID is not configured as a developer account. If this is your original intention, we may need to contact our Developer Program support by following this link:
How to Contact Us - Apple Developer
    https://developer.apple.com/contact/
Otherwise, if you are simply attempting to download the consumer version of iTunes, you can do so at this link:
Apple - iTunes - Download iTunes Now

    Thanks,
    Matt M.

  • Help!! Circular Redirect error when submitting to iTunes

    Howdo folks
I'm really hoping someone can help me here, because I've totally run out of ideas trying to figure this out.
I'm trying to submit my new podcast to iTunes, but when I type in the Feed URL (http://www.mifidpodcast.com/rss/feed.rss), I get the following error message:
We had difficulty reading this feed. Circular redirect to 'http://www.mifidpodcast.com:80/rss/feed.rss'
The feed validates fine at feedvalidator.org, so I've got no idea what is causing the problem with the iTunes submission.
Also, I have no problem subscribing directly when I use the "Subscribe to Podcast" option on iTunes and type in the feed URL. It's just the podcast submission option that comes up with the error.
    Can anyone help? Please?
    Thanks in advance
    Mike

Hmmm, my first thought was that your server had a redirect set up, looping back to post 80. But it doesn't look like that's happening when I read your site's headers.
I validated your feed and noticed that your server is returning the file as if it were a text file: http://www.feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mifidpodcast.com%2Fr ss%2Ffeed.rss
Looking through your source code, it looks like you have an old version of PodPress. Your source says 6.0, the PodPress site says they have 6.8. Double check you have the newest version of the software.
I hope that helps, nothing else is jumping at me. Mike

  • I am getting this error when submitting through iTunes Producer: *** -[__NSCFString substringToIndex:]: Range or index out of bounds

    I get the following error:
*** -[__NSCFString substringToIndex:]: Range or index out of bounds
I don't know why and I am part way through creating all the meta data for my submission so really frustrated this isn't going through.

    It always says:
    1. Apple's web service operation was not successful
    2. ERROR ITMS-3000: "Line 7 column 54: character content of element "publication_type" invalid; must be equal to "Book", "Textbook", "book" or "textbook" at XPath /package/book/metadata/publication_type"
    3. Unable to authenticate the package: 10000317086.itmsp
I have no clue what this means and how to solve it

  • "this feed has no episodes" error when submitting to iTunes

    Hey there,
This is probably a simple fix but I can't seem to figure it out as I am very new to this. My link is here: http://feeds.feedburner.com/VolumizePodcast
When I submit this link to iTunes it says "this feed has no episodes"
    Any ideas?

Firstly, your feed is all on one line with no line breaks: this makes it very difficult to read. I was able to get round this by automatically inserting a line break after every >, but it would be better to write the feed with breaks. It doesn't affect the validity, but it makes it much easier to troubleshoot.
Episodes are contained within the <item> and </item> tags: there are two such tags in your feed. For iTunes the actual media file is references within the <enclosure> tag within the <item> tag. Your second <item> has no enclosure tag at all. The first has a tag:
    <enclosure url="http://djaaronjoseph.adej.net/volumize_podcast.xml" length="1997" type="application/xml" />
but as you see it is referencing another feed file, so iTunes will not see it as an episode.
The feed it references does contain an enclosure tag with a media file, though the name of the file contains spaces (replaced with %20 in the feed) which it shouldn't. It validates at http://www.feedvalidator.org but does not contain an iTunes category tag. The feed you listed in your post does not validate.
If you submit the feed at http://djaaronjoseph.adej.net/volumize_podcast.xml to iTunes it will probably be accepted, but you need to do more work on it first.
You might care to look at this page, which gives a sample feed and a basic description of how to set up a podcast:
    http://www.wilmut.org.uk/pc
and also Apple's rather more detailed tech note:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/whatson/podcasts/specs.html
I might add that Feedburner is notorious for writing messy feeds, and that you would always do better to submit a feed directly to iTunes rather than letting Feedburner do it.

  • Application Loader and iTunes Connect say missing embedded provisioning

    Hi,
I'm trying to update an app built with Flash CC, and I'm getting an error when submitting to iTunes Connect through Application Loader:
ERROR ITMS-9000: "Missing Provision Profile - iOS Apps must contain a provisioning profile in a file named embedded.mobileprovision." at SoftwareAssets/SoftwareAsset (MZItmspSoftwareAssetPackage)
I'm using the latest public release of AIR SDK through Flash Pro (version 4.0.0.162).
    Anyone having similar issues?
    Thanks,
    Kevin N.
Instant Update: I unzipped the .ipa file and the embedded.mobileprovision file in there.

    @Marian Majewski-Sliwa
We looked into the info.plist file which you had shared but there appears to be no issue with the same.
If possible, could you please PM the packaged IPA file, all 3 ANEs which you have used in your project to help us investigate the issue further?
    Thanks,
    Abhinav

I try to publish my book create with ibooks author( with publish button) and in delivery(using itunes producer) process a itms-9000 errror cancel the whole thing. To be accurate a big list of itms-9000 errors which contains the message:

Does anyone had the same problem or can anyone help me to fix this issue???. thank you.

    Hello Fellow iBook Authors!
Today I received the same error that you all have been discussing.  I tried selecting the DRM
and this did not work for me, though I'm glad it did for some.  Here's what I did as a work-around. . .
Since iBooks Author did not have a problem with Videos, I simply used one of my video programs, ScreenFlow to turn the audio into a video file m4v.  I added an image and extended the length or timing of the image to span the length of the audio file.  Then exported as an .mov.  I then opened QuickTime and opened the file and exported the file to iTunes.
You can use iMovie, Camtasia or any other progam that will allow you to export the audio as a movie file.  Does this make sense?  I hope this helps, at least in the short-term.
