Where has the radio option gone from the source list on the left hand side of my itunes? How can I restore it

If you have it turned on it is now under the music section on the top where you have Songs, Albums etc. It is on the far right next to Match.
If you cannot see it then Preferences and Tick Radio Option
If it is still npt there the Preferences, Parental and untick Disable Radio

CS5 - Where has Web Photo Gallery gone? I use it all the time to prepare galleries for Dreamweaver.

Having just upgraded from CS2 to CS5, I cannot find Web Photo Gallery (previously File, Automate, Web Photo Gallery).
This was very useful to prepare galleries of images sent to me by our group members in all sizes, so I could send all the gallery files straight into Dreamweaver for uploading to our website.

In CS2 they offered thumbnails of the gallery styles. Hitting Refresh Preview in CS5 requires the photos to load the gallery. Doesn't take too long, but the other was quick and simple.

Where has 'consolidate library' option gone?

I have just purchased a huge external drive to (finally!) store all my music on. I have set the path for a new media folder on it in advanced preferences, but when I go to where the 'consolidate' option used to be - file, library, consolidate library - I now get 'back up to disc' or 'organize library' or 'export library' options instead.
I simply want to copy all my music (and some is on other external drives) to the new external drive, and iTunes 9 seems to have lost that option! Help!

I was confused at first too...why change the name? Does organize make more sense than consolidate? Whatever...just make it work!

Where has my airplay icon gone from my macbook?

We have Apple TV, which we use regularly. But when attempting to go into it for the second time tonight, the icon has disappeared from both the Macbook and our iPhones. We've tried re-setting the Macbook Air and have also switched on and off the Apple TV box. Still nothing.

Airplay is over the local network so internet speed is not relevant.
If doing the network test on the device that will not be accurate. You need to go to istumbler or similar to get a network report, look for signal strength, noise, nearby networks.

In the past I have used the live trace option in cs2 to good effect. Today I have a picture I've borrowed from the internet (yes i know!) which I want to place and then live trace. However the only the live paint option is in the object menu.

Yes the image is selected and no it is not embedded. I looked in the keyboard shortcuts and there is no live trace - just a live paint bucket and live paint selection

Now whenever I open a web-page I have previously saved, the "saved as" page disappears and is replaced by a screen showing in grid view the last 12 pages of sites I have visited. From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.

The deactivation option on my copy of Photoshop CS5 64 does not work. How can I get this deactivated so I can re-install?

I went through this a couple of years ago when I built a new desktop. I needed to move my copy of PS CS5 to the new desktop and couldn't get the Deactivate system to work. I had installed PS CS5 on 2 different computers, older desktop and newer notebook.
After calling Adobe, IIRC (that was when you could actually call them), I was told not to worry about it. Just uninstall from the old computer, and or Don't Ever Use CS5 on the old computer again, and install it to the new one. I didn't have any problems. Activation went through without any problems.

This was started from my Trial Acrobat installation on my Mac, following a pop up to register on my Mac and then a browser session on my Mac!
I have cancelled the monthly plan for the Windows version and successfully completed the process for the Mac version, but now I need my refund for the 1 month of the Windows version that I didn't want and didn't ask for and can't use. I rang the number but was on hold for 32 minutes before giving up.
I clicked on the link under the cancellation in my Adobe account but that ends up in a 1000 option black hole support site.
How do I proceed, without wasting another hour of my life? Thanks.

I've just discovered the answer, tap the screen below the top play bar in a seemingly blank area then another set of controls appears which were previously hidden and on the right is a little box which controls the speed. Mine was at half speed. It is so not obvious..........I ahd to find this in the downloadable instructions online.

There is an Applescript, File Name to Title, provided by user léonie that will put the file name of any selected photos into the Title field for that photo. If there already is a title in that field under the thumbnail it will not replace it with the file name.

Copy the script above, open Applescript Editor and past it into the open window. Compile and save as an Applescript application. Put the app in the Applications folder and drag into the Dock. Now you can select images in Photos and launch the app from the Dock and it will do it's thing. It is a bit slow so can take some time for a large number of images depending on the speed of your Mac.
Just to be on the safe side create an album with a few titled and untitled photos and run it on them.

Does your purchased rmusic appears under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) ? If they do and you don't have the cloud symbol against them so as to re-download them, then do you still have the entries for them in your library i.e. where you would normally click on them to play them ? If you do then try deleting them from there (iTunes will be seeing them and assuming that you still have them somewhere) and they should then get the cloud symbol for re-downloading in the Purchased link.
If you aren't in a country where music can be re-downloaded then you could try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page,

Authorization and Deauthorization

In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.
More On De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.
