Itunes 11 has messed up the menu

I had Crystal Black installed previously and after the itunes 11 update I have essentially lost the menu bar completely.
See the attached screenshot.
Any ideas other than a complex reinstall of itunes?

Probably when you dropped it something inside the phone broke too.

I'm trying to install xCode, and it asked me to quit itunes. But itunes has quit and the installation has stopped. how do i fix it.

Okay i just figured out how to fix it. all i did was go to my Activity Monitor and searched all processes for itunes, itunes helper was running. i just quit it and intaller.app was just fine. thanks thou, ill give you the points for trying to help me.

I had the same problem so (assuming under the Purchased items in the Store you have a song stuck at 'Downloading'):
I went to Music, then Artists.
From there I chose the album.
The song that failed to download had the cloud symbol next to it.
I clicked the cloud symbol and the song completed the download for me.
(Please note this was in iTunes for Windows - I expect it to be similar in iTunes for Apple)

I started an Itunes playlist and my windows media player is now messed up

Create the folders you want. Drag the files from the folders they are in to the folders you want them in. If the folders they were in before you started are still there, use those.
And no, I don't think there's a faster way.

Airplay works fine in iTunes but not from the menu why?

Hi Guys,
I have read so many answers to the question about Airplay not working both here and the internet.
Can someone give me the definative answer why I can Airplay from iTunes but not from the Macbook Pro itself i.e. no menu icon or setting to mirror.
Everyone seems to say its the age of the computer or its the firewall or the wind is blowing in the wrong direction.
Why if I can do it oneway (iTunes), I can not do it directly?
I am using a 2011 macbook pro 10.9.3 and a apple tv 3.
Is there a hack or work around with out purchasing more software.

ITunes has randomly deleted the majority of my music (that wasn't purchased) and I don't know what the **** to do to get it back!

So my computer went all funny before it turned on. I open up iTunes, for some sort of error looking type message coming up...idk what it said, I just dismissed it. But before that came up, there was a popup with some of my songs "loading" as I opened iTunes. I dismissed that too, though I thought it was weird. But I open up iTunes to find that the majority of my music is gone and I have no ******* idea on how to get it all back I am in tears, please somebody help me!!!

Sometimes too many open apps will hide it, but if it closed,
Restart the Creative Cloud app. Look for it in Spotlight.

My iTunes has stopped updating the database.

I have updated my iTunes recently. It worked fine for several days. Now it won't update either of my iPods. In addition when I play a song the Playcount will not increase. Smart Playlists no longer update. Any suggestions?

I actually think I got it figured out. I closed iTunes then navigated to the itl file, double-clicked it. That opened iTunes and and it updated one or two songs before it stopped working again.

TS1368 I do not WANT the latest version of iTunes. Was tricked into loading it a few weeks ago by updater. The new version (11) stinks! Has none of the menu options of the earlier version. So I uninstalled and re installed 10.6.3 but now it won't auth. Wh

I deleted the "new" library and repopulated the lists when re-installing. Even though I connect and the store comes up, and my login is correct, I get an error message every time. How do I reset it so it forgets all the errors and goes to the store to auth my purchases? I will not use the idiot-light version now offered for iPhone addicts. Help?

Apparently, security programs like Macafee and Norton view Itunes updates as new programs and block then from access. If you add Itunes to the list of exemptions, it solves the problem.

ITunes has messed with my internet?

I don't really know whether it was the iTunes update or not, but since I have no other clues, I thought I'd start here. Basically, a few minutes after I upgraded iTunes and Quicktime last night, my internet started messing up. It works, but there are programs that refuse to work (as in, they go at 0kb/s). I've already tried restarting my computer twice! Anyone else having similiar problems? Or is it just my computer? I thought it might be the server, but the rest of the internet works fine, and there have been no complaints from anyone else....

We had a similar issue last night ... once the upgrade was installed, the internet became extremely slow. We just had Hughes Net installed (satellite) and it has worked flawlessly until we installed the upgrade. We have yet to figure it out.

My drop-down bookmarks menu has vanished from the menu bar and I have no idea how to get it back. Help, please?

I have no idea what I did, one minute I was browsing that particular menu, the next it was gone. I can still access the sidebar version and my bookmarks toolbar is still there, but the actual menu is gone. Closing and restarting Firefox hasn't worked, neither has restarting my computer. I would really appreciate any advice.

I have the exact same problem that you all are experiencing. Has anyone yet found a solution. This is very disappointing. I've gone from being a hardcore apple fanboy and long shareholder to returning to windows 8 and shorting the stock because almost all my apple gear has issues that arise within the first several years of ownership. Never was the case when I built or bought third party hardware. I hope apple solves this issue soon.
