Itunes & connection icon on screen
I have the itues icon and the connection cable showing on my screen. I looked up a solution and it was suggested I log onto my apple account. I've done that, now what?
iTunes on a computer not on the iPad.
Either way if this is a managed work device you need to let your IT department handle it.

Correct, under "Rights and pricing" the price tier should be free. Then set the price of the folios/issues under "Manage in-app purchases"

On the opening screen of my 1pad2 the itunes apple icon and usb cord are displayed. How do I delete them? Do NOT tell me to download anything, as I CANNOT GET INTO THE IPAD.
You can't get rid of those icons because that means that you MUST connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and restore the device. You have no choice. There is no way to remove that from the screen. Something went wrong on the iPad and you need to restore it now.

I have tried rebooting it. nothing seems to help. it always ends up with the same screen a picture prompting me to hook up via usb to itunes.Then without fail i get an error message. itunes connpt connect to the ipod touch because it is locked with a passcode. you need to enter the passcode on the ipod touch first. unfortunately the touch will not show any other screen but the connect to itunes.
Connect the iPod touch to your iTunes library in Recovery Mode and restore it to factory setting. See this article for instructions on getting your device into Recovery Mode.

Earlier today my iPad which was using OS 8.2) kept shutting down every few minutes. I thought it might be some new incompatibility connected with the recent release of OS 8.3,. So, I updated to OS 8.3. It took many attempts and a very long time - over an hour - because the iPad kept shutting down mid-process. Supposedly 8.3 is now installed, but all I get is the Apple logo followed by a screen showing a connection, cursor arrow pointing up-screen to a box reading "iTunes". I cannot get out of that screen to any other screen and can only close by hard shut down, fully powering off (home button + power button). When I restart the device it shows first the Apple logo for a few seconds, then the iTunes connection logo. Nothing else. This has been going on for about three hours now. I am not an iTunes user so I am not sure what to think or what to expect.. Is it maybe something to do with iTunes being updated in the background? 3 hours seems a long time for an update whatever it is. Is anyone else encountering this problem? Does anyone have any suggestions, bearing in mind that I cannot get to the usual opening home screen, so can't get to settings or anything to do a reset. I hope someone can help me with this problem. If it has NEVER been jailbroke, here are some standard repair procedures:
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, read this. -
Is there any way to regain access to phone stuck on itunes connect screen?
My iphone 4S is requiring me to connect to itunes via USB to do the latest software update, 8.1.2. The phone is just locked out of any normal functionality, just the itunes connect screen.
I have tried to just do an update for the software, but it says I have to do a factory restore and will lose all photos, videos, documents, etc.
I am guessing this is because I have less that 1G of free space.
Is there any way I can gain access of the phone to delete stuff I do not need on there, so I can update successfully?

You must use iTunes to restore your phone and then use the last backup that you have -

Your MacBook already comes with iTunes. What iTunes is telling you is probably to update it to the most recent version, so open > Software Update, and install the most recent iTunes version, in this case, 11.0.4.

HT4623 stuck on itunes connection screen after repair
i recently had to have charge port replaced on ipad 1 and now we are stuck on itunes connection screen. when connected to computer, it says need to enter passcode on ipad. not getting lightning bolt or "not charging" on ipad screen. port and cord are both funtional and working with other devices. have restarted both computer and ipad. any thoughts?
Yes - that means that you have to restore the iPad. If it is asking for the passcode - enter it and restore the device. If you can't remember the passcode or don't know what it is, you probably have to use recovery mode to restore the device.

Forgot the passcode to my ipad. When I went to restore it, it asked me if I wanted to update the software so I said yes. It then went into recovery mode, I'm guessing, with the connect to iTunes showing on the screen. Now iTunes will not recognize it so I have no idea how to get it back! Help!!

* If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the
Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off,
release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the
device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the battery charge warning,
let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some
charge, and then start with step 2 again.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.

Your iPhone is in recoverty mode at the moment so to possibly get it back up and running you would need to do a restore as you have been trying. Follow the steps in the article below for the specific error messages you have been receiving. If after following all steps the issue remains book an appointment at a local Apple Retail Store to have the iPhone evaluated.

I don't know what's causing the problem.Sounds like something is broken. Unfortunately, it's no longer eligible for a discounted out of warranty replacement. Find a competent repair shop or buy a new phone.
