Itunes download page - failure to display

Anyone know the secret for getting the itunes download page to display properly? Windows XP, IE6 is what I use.

are you seeing a blank blue box? the usual culprit with that is
b McAfee Privacy Service.
(it also hides the download buttons on the ipod software updater page.) see the McAfee entry here:

Just to let you know, iTunes store is off-line. Of course Apple is not admitting to this with a "Will Be Back Soon" sticky note but for all intents and purposes iTunes Store is off-line.

Is itunes 10.4.1.10 for real? I just got the update availability notice but it opened my browser and went to the itunes download page. Normally it just opens a small list with what is going to be downloaded (us. safari, quicktime, and itunes) and i am abl

(cont.) e to choose what is going to be downloaded. Im just a little suspicious what with the update coming differently than it usually does.

ITunes Download partial failure

I downloaded Pink Floyd's Pulse Album last night but last two songs failed to download. My iTunes store information states all purchases downloaded. I cant even go back to the store and buy the last two tunes again as they are album only. What can I do?

ITunes download web page info missing

I recently downloaded the american version of itunes v6 by mistake. I also bought an Australian itunes music card which doesn't work on the american system. When I click on apples free Australian "itunes download" page, the actual "download now" button and surrounding information is not there? It all appears on my work pc but not my G5 or my G4 laptop?

If I'm correct, you're not connected to the Australian iTMS.
When you choose the Music store in iTunes, you normally will see the home page. If not, click on the little 'house' icon, just above the page.
Once on the home page of the iTMS, scroll down to the bottom.
At the middle of the page you will see 'Choose Country:'
Once connected to the correct country, sign in using your ID and Password.
You should now be able to use your iTunes Music Card.

ITunes download error on the iPad

I bought some videos on iTunes (episodes of 2 TV seasons). Most everything downloaded with no problems but there are 7 that didn't complete and show up on the iTunes download page as "Download error. Tap to retry."
If I follow the directions and tap, the message briefly changes "waiting" then back to "download error. Tap to retry" and a moment later, a dialog box shows up that says "Unable to download episode. <episode title inserted> could not be downloaded at this time."
On the videos app, those episodes showed up but wouldn't play. I was able to delete the seasons by clicking on the Edit button on the TV Shows page, but still the iTunes Downloads icon shows a "7" badge.
I tried downloading those episodes again but that didn't work.
Any advice?

I found the answer to my question in another part of this discussion forum. I'm adding it here in case someone else sees my original post and wants to see the solution.
To get rid of the download error, go to the download page and find the small down-pointing arrow icon next to the "download error. Tap to retry." text. Put your finger on the down-pointing arrow icon and flick (quick short swipe) to the left. The down-pointing arrow icon will be replaced with a "delete" button. Tap the delete button. Then confirm the delete in the modal popup window.
That's it. An easy solution, even though it took me many hours to find the answer.

Download page will not form correctly

The webpage for downloading iTunes 6 does not form correctly. There is not a link to begin the download.

ITunes 10 install failure (OS X 10.6.4)

Tried iTunes 10 install (upgrade from 9.2.1) using Software Update and from local download of iTunes 10. Both failed with "The installation failed." While writing files, an installation script error briefly appeared.

You could try downloading directly from the iTunes download page. May have been something wrong with your download files:

How much free space to do you have on your Hard Drive? To little free space could cause problems.

7.7.1 No longer Available in iTunes Downloads?

I have been back more than once to the Downloads/iTunes page (and a few others too) and can not find the download for 7.7.1 anywhere! All I can find is the 7.7 download. I've been looking for over a week now. Am I just not seeing it or has it been pulled? Is it only available thru Software Updates now or not at all? I appreciate your help!

I did see your other post to me. I am really glad that it helped you get your tunes back! I have been fortunate with it as well, even tho I know many haven't been so lucky. I don't know why they are not being more clear about which version it is on the iTunes download page? Kind of confusing and/or misleading unless........ (sorry, can't speculate)
Anyhow... as I told James, I've had the download from day one and got it through systems updates. I have really been wanting to reference it tho, as there are alot of questions about both versions and I really don't want to disseminate bad or inaccurate information to anybody.

The iTunes download website not working for me

I'm trying to download iTunes on my other computer, and when I went to the iPod+iTunes download page, nothing happens. I didn't get a message saying it was downloading, installing or anything. Is there something wrong with the Apple website or my computer? Please help!

... and if you see a blank blue box at the left of the page, disable your McAfee Privacy Service. the download options should appear in the blue box.

I sounds like you have the first generation (1G) iPod Touch with an iOS earlier than 2.0, Yu can identify your ipod here:

You can identify your iOS version by going to Settings>General>About and look by Version. Yu can update ti iOS 3.1.3 (the lated for the 1G) by this link. It is a paid update. You may have to try another browser to get he sublink to work correctly.

Itunes stores pages not displaying/updating graphics -- only gray blanks

Kinda frustrated. Upgraded to latest Itunes (12.0.1) about 2wks ago on my Imac with OSX 10.7.5 Lion. Itunes is performing all functions except no images display at all -- text appears on all the store pages and "my mouse clicks" plays music, and shows movie & TV clips on the Itunes store pages. This same "no images" situation is true for the APPS store and all of the other Itunes stores too, (i.e. music, movies, books, podcasts etc) Images display correctly for my playlists, albums in Itunes -- only the Itunes store images are missing. I am using a DSL broadband link with 1.5mps.
Using the same Wi-Fi home network with my ipad4 it loads some Itunes store images but seems to hang up too before all data is downloaded-- but it too loads very, very slowly.. It seems that my internet connection or my imac is not processing images for these store pages.   While the little wheel is spinning at the upper left on the Itunes pages suggesting it's processing data-- but no images appear. This was not the case a month ago before I updated to Itunes 12. APP store images were visible on both my Imac and IPad .
Except for the Itunes store pages -- all other websites I go to display images/clipart quickly -- Ebay, Amazon, YouTube, etc. perform without any problem.
There is a pull-down on the system menu for the APP Store on Lion -- but what appears now is just a white page with a grey APP store image. I assume this is because in Itunes (v.12.0.1) all access must go through the Itunes application. Or maybe this is a sign of a problem too.
I have tried several things to try and remedy. I have reset the cache for warnings &store. I have flushed the DNS cache using F5 -- I have downloaded and reinstalled Itunes.
Any other suggestions, ideas, workarounds?    Thanks.

Yes that is a pretty advertisement page for the Tiger Accessibility and for the accessibilty of the hardware.
But what is missing is the same page for iTunes and iPod. Those two products which right now are Apple's Hot market. They do not even train the sales staff in the Apple Stores to use and demonstrate these features to a parent / spouse/ child of someone with a disability.
VoiceOver is great in the finder and terminal and mostly works in Safarie and Mail. It mostly works in system dialog boxes but forget AppleWorks, GarageBand, Microsoft Office. The ProTools folks are actually working on making that program work with VoiceOver even better.
My best recommendation to anyone on this forum who is a Mac User. Use SearchLight to find VoiceOver. Now read some of the documentation to get the gist of how it works. Once you have done this, Start VoiceOver and turn off your screen. Try using the keybard commands you just learned or even the ones you think you know in iTunes. You will find it extremely hard to navigate.

Some more developments ... the issue appears to be browser-specific. I can't see the download controls at the moment in either IE 8 (I'll get your message) or Safari for Windows 5.0.5 (I'll just get the blank box). But I can see the download controls in Firefox 4 and Chrome (whatever version I have of that).
So it might be worth installing Firefox and seeing if you can get the downloads via that:

connect your ipad to itunes and click on the ipad and go to its app tab on the list check if pages name is checked or not if not check it and try syncing again it will install the app
