if require the new itunes11.1.X
if you already have that and it's windows then uninstall itunes
use regEdit you can type that in run or the likes and search and delete all hits you get on itunes
then reboot windows and install itunes again -

I have downloaded iOS 6 to my iTunes but I have clicked "Download Only" not "Download and Update" how do i install/sync it to my iPad. Please help me, its taken me hours to download it i don't want to do it again
PLEASE HELP ME!!!Hook your iPad into your computer and open iTunes. GIve it a couple of minutes to get going, then click on the name of your device, then the main summary page. In the middle you'll see a software update button/area. Click on check on updates and update and follow the prompts.
it SHOULDN"T redownload but if you've already got it should just install.
I'd suggest that you first do a complete sync before you update, that way you have a good backup to restore your device from if the upgrade doesn't go perfect. -

Hi. I have an iPhone 4s. The music doesn't play when I connect it to my car stereo. It used to play previously but stopped playing all of a sudden. My phone is getting charged when I cut it to the USB port. Please help with this. The iOS is 6.1.3.

Firefox has always worked fast. But after the last upgrade, it has slowed right down. I am running Windows 7 32 bit. Now the first website loads fast; then the next website loads slower; then links gradually slow down until I just see the reverse arrow which never loads up.
I have re-installed Firefox w/out success.

WillSorry your experience wasn't a plesant one, but most of the issues they work on are hardware in nature, not software.. I'm not taking up for Apple... I'd had my share of run-ins with them as well.
As for your iTunes issue... an EASY solution is to simply tell iTunes that the location you want your tunes stored in is your Public folder. Items in your public folder can be seen and opened by others, so your wife could easily access the files there.
For you, go to your Music folder, find the iTunes folder, and drag it to your public folder.
Next, go to iTuness>Preferences and click on the Advanced tab, then the General Tab, and the first window you see is the iTunes Music Folder Locataion. Click Change, then navigate to the iTunes folder in you Public folder.
Now, next time you purchase a song from the iTunes store, or import songs from a CD, they will be stored in the iTunes folder, in your public folder.
You wife does basically the same thing except she navigates to YOUR public folder, and the iTunes folder inside.
She will have to manually find and import any new songs you add but at least your entire library will be available for her to listen to.
There are other ways of getting the same thing done, but I think this is the easiest.

Force close the app following these steps
1. Hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top edge until the "Slide to Power Off" screen appears
2. Hold the Home button on the front of the device
While holding the Home button, you should see the screen go back to your Home screen
If this doesn't happen, do a hardware reset by holding the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time until the white apple appears on the screen -
I upgraded my iphone last night on the phone, today I cannot get the computer and the phone to work together. When I click restore iPhone, and my only choice is to restore and upgrade, when it starts the upgrade, it says the phone has not been restored. I did just upgrade the itunes on the computer also.
This may not solve your problem but may clear up a couple of things.
1: Re the connected to wi-fi, plugged in and locked thing is for automatic backups. It doesn't need to be plugged in or locked for it to work when you go to Settings > iCloud > Backup and tap Back Up Now. Mine completes the backup quickly without being plugged in or locking (but I don't have a lot to backup).
2: Locked just means the lock screen is on (press the sleep/wake button on top) -- it will work without a passcode (& again, the lock screen on is only required for the automatic backup).
3: You can see what is using your storage and maybe reduce some of it so that you don't have to pay for storage. Instructions in Manage your iCloud storage - Apple Support -
I have tried to sync both ipod and ipad2 (new) with itunes running on win 7 64 bit. I have all latest versions installed on all machines.
The ipod and ipad are just not recognised in itunes.
I have an old win7 32 bit system on the same machine and everything works perfectly.

This was the answer to all my problems, once i updated the drivers all good! My iPad kept insisting I didnt have the 64bit itunes (which i did) and when I checked the files I was supposed to have as per the link instructions, I had none of them. Disappointed I had to turn to some random files off a blog rather than having apple actually provide useful help. As long as they are making money though :Z -

Click the iforgot link on that support article to "reset" your Apple ID account even though you can login to iTunes on your computer and iPad.
It's just a reset. -

I've been trying to download this song for two days. ITunes says that it downloaded, and that I purchased it, but it will NOT appear in my music. The weird thing is that I bought two songs simultaneously and the first one successfully appeared and I can listen to it. Totally fine. However, the second one will finish downloading, then disappear. I bought the same song two more times off of different albums just to make sure there wasn't a problem there. Nope. Everything with that song title will not show up. Rhapsody in Blue, by the way. I also bought it on my iPod touch just to make sure there, and it successfully downloaded and I can listen to it on my iPod without a problem. Again, it just won't go on my IPHONE. It's frustrating. Any advice or help?!

The first time it was when I had gone to vacation to Turkey. On the second day of my vacation it turned off and then turned on after a few days when the battery was low!I pluged charge in and everything was ok. And today, since 3 weeks, it behaves the same!
My iPhone did the same about an hour or so ago. I've tried to reset it but it doesn't work. It has happened once and at that Time the device was vibrating from time to time. At the store they reseted it ( my pré joue attempts to do so had just faire like tokay). Help !
