ITunes Match does not list all my music before signing up. Only the ones i've purchased thru itunes and several songs of my own.  Where can I find my 400  missing songs?  Being able to store ALL music is the only reason why I signed up. Please help.

iTunes Match does not list all the music I had on my iphone. Not on my phone or iTunes. Only shows the music I've purchased from itunes and none of my 400+ songs.  Please help. Thank you.

Is your music in your iTunes library on your computer and has match completed its scan of this library.

The syncing of music is one way, computer to phone. See this helpful document from a fellow user. Credit goes to the author.

Is it possible to store txt message history on the memory card? - Always running out of txt storage space on my phone. I've never gotten close to being able to store 300 messages as indicated on pg 58 of the manual, so I must be missing something.
I might get 35 or 40 and then get storage limit warnings

    A_Ohmstede,
I know it can be frustrating seeing that inbox get full and having to delete
stored messages.  I do see in the Samsung manual where it advises that it
will store a maximum of 300 messages on the phone.  The number may lower
if there are pictures messages and other things being stored on the device.
Have you checked your total Memory available in Settings and Tools? How much is
currently available?  Please let us know these details and we may be able
    to help further!

  • ITunes match does not work on my iPhone 4S, but is working across all of my other Macs and iOS devices.  All other iCloud services are working fine on the 4S - any suggestions?

iTunes match is not working on my iPhone 4S; it works awesome across all of my Macs and other iOS devices (iPad 2, iPod Touch 4g x 2, and my wife's iPhone 4).  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

It is not possible to "toggle back and forth" at will. If you associate a device with an Apple ID and you have iTunes Match enabled you must wait 90 days before you can associate it with another Apple ID. See this Apple KB article for more information: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627

  • ITunes match does not show up on iphone

I just enabled iTunes match after it took forever to synch up on my computer, it told me to go to settings -> music and turn on iTunes match. I don't have that option on my iPhone 4 running iOS 5. What is wrong?

iTunes Match has not been released yet.

  • ITunes match does not match

I bought iTunes match, but not all the songs of my collection were transfered to my iPhone. I have convinced myself berorehand that the songs are available at the store, but it seems like I do get a download, but it only comes in almost transparent letters and the "cloud" seems empty.

I just got off the phone with customer service at Apple. They told me about 7 times that its designed to upload the tracks it can't find so you can have them on all devices. When I said "I know, but you market the benefit of paying the $25 is that you can match songs you didn't buy from iTunes quickly, and possibly bump up the bitrate. So if it doesn't actually do that and I have to upload all my songs anyway, why not use Google for free?"...
They couldn't supply me with a good answer. Not to mention it didn't seem like they knew anything about iTunes Match to begin with.

  • Itunes match does not save all my changes

    Hello all!
So, I'm very upset about how working with itunes match and I need some advises of you.
    The situation is:
I'm reorganizing my library on my Mac. (and it's a hard, hard work for me).
After change lots of tags and play lists, how is my surprise when iTunes match undo parts of my work and back some songs and lists the his preview state.
I activate itunes Match only in my MAC and my Macbook, but, untill I finish the entire work I keeping my Macbook turne off.
I thought that it would understand that if I'm doing a change right now, this change is the change that I want to keep.
I already tryed click on the "update iTunes Match" from the "Store" menu, but it didn't work.
I have been fighting with iTunes Match for days.... doing and loosing hours of hard work.
I'm about to surrender and turn it off.
Somebory knows why it's happen and how to fix it?
    Am I doing something wrong?
    Thank you!

    Thank you!
    You are absolutely right.
Based on you told me,  I created an hypothesis:
    - If I want to do many changes in ID3 tag of the same song, I have to do it all in once (or wait a little to change again) because if i change something and change another thing right after, the system will get confuse.
I was doing several changes one after another in the same songs. Like, changing the "Group field" of 10 songs, pressing "OK" and right after changing another field and another after that... We are not in the 25 century yet, kkkkkkk, my mistake!
Now I'm using filters to group all songs for a specific change and do all changes in ID3 tag (in all fields that need changes) at the same time. At the first tests it's working fine.

  • ITunes 5 Does not list all Mp3's/AAC's in the library

I've Cleared the library and reloaded it. there are still Mp3's/AAC's in the file folders that are not listed in the itunes library. i.e. 3 of 20 will show. How can I fix this?

A song's "kind" will only be "matched AAC file" after the original track has been deleted from the iTunes library and the "matched" track then downloaded to the iTunes library.

  • ITunes match does not work on my iPhone or iPad

I'm one of these lucky folks who has two Apple IDs because Apple decided to change from the single username to a MobileMe account a while back. Since Apple doesn't allow yet to concatenate both IDs, I have to use the single username ID for the iTunes store and the @me.com, actually @mac.com, ID for the rest.
The problem then is when I want to use my iPhone or iPad with iTunes Match. Both devices want me to register to the @me.com ID but the music is under the single username ID. In fact the iPhone and iPad refuse to accept my username ID if it does not have the @me.com suffix.
It's a mess and it does not work for me now. Has someone found a workaround or some way to get iTunes Match on the iPhone and iPad when there are two different IDs on iTunes?
    Thanks for your help.

It appears that Apple has no idea how to fix this issue of double Apple IDs and iTunes Match. They decided to reimburse me for the purchase of the two iTunes Match I got with my two IDs. This doesn't solve the issue but at least I'm not out of cash for nothing.

  • Itunes match does not work properly

The symbol for cloud does not appear anymore in my iTunes library. I have no problems using my iPhone or iPad, only iTunes on the Macmini gives problems.
An other strange thing is that the volume and apeaker choice does not work as it should be on the Mac mini for music that is on my computer. The few albums that are shown in iCloud work just fine.
After I had stopped iTunes match and restarted it. The message was given that all my music could be used through the cloud. On the Mac mini it is not like that.

    Hi,
Every music on my hard drive is sored in the regular iTunes music library as .m4a
There is no iCloud symbol showed in iTunes, but I can listen to every piece of music if I use the iPad or iPhone. The music is streamd from iCloud and played on one of mine airpkay speakers.

  • HT203167 My iTunes Match does not work, it stops after the first step and won't do anything else!!!

Hello, I purchased iTunes Match for my new iPhone five and it is intended to move the music from my computer to my other computer, but it stopped working on my MacBook Pro, it stopped after the first step. So, my question is, can iTunes Match work if the iTunes in question has other accounts attached to it, of not, can I get a refund on a service that does not work?

I am having a similar issue with iTunes Match. It keeps hanging up on the same number of files (11035 of 15455) during STEP 2. I've tried signing out, re-opening iTunes, re-booting, etc. Still comesup stuck for hours. What I also don't understand is why the "iCloud Status" option in "View/View Options" disappears intermittently. It was there when I first booted up this morning and I reviewed all my music files to see if there were any "errors" and there werne't any. But after Match gets stuck on the same file niumber (11035) I 've signed out and re-booted and now the "iCloud Status" check box is missing from "View Options" (only the "iCloud Download" option remains present all the time. Please help. (I've also checked to make sure all the music files are within the suggested bit rate parameters and file type - This is also a brand new iMac out of the box). Running out of troubleshooting ideas and beginning to think this service just doesn't work well.
