ITunes Match not loading all music to iPhone 5s

iTunes is not loading all of my music to my iPhone 5s. It was working fine before, now it doesn't seem to load any new music I put into my iTunes. I have tried to update iTunes Match several times and it still doesn't work. I have authorized my computer already.

Interestingly I just checked my phone and all my playlists have been loaded up..go figure...

i am having a problem with the iTunes match not loading on my iPhone 4, once in iTunes it just shows the iCloud logo, and does not load all my albums/song etc.

I'm guessing you mean the iTunes store.
What specificaly happens when you try to access the store?  Any errors?
What do you mean by full factory reset?  Does that mean a restore as new?
Are you able to access the store via Wi-Fi?

  • Itunes match not loading in ios7

Itunes match not working since the ios 7 update? It worked great before that...I've tried restaring the phone a few times and closing out the app. Tried turning on and off itunes match on both the phone and through itunes on the computer, tried restaring the computer. i've tried it on wifi and on cellular, both connect to other things but itunes match won't load?

I was stuck in "Loading iTunes Match" for an hour.  Here's what I did:
In Settings -> Music, turned off Music Match
On the computer, started iTunes, plugged in the iPhone, let it sync.  It copied some songs to the phone.
In Settings -> Music, turned on Music Match
Synced the phone again by clicking 'Sync' in iTunes
On the phone, went to the Music app.  My library loaded in a couple of seconds.
I imagine all these steps aren't required.  It may be enough to cycle Music Match off and on.  Extra points to the user who can do it in less steps.

  • ITune Match not loading properly on my MacBook Air; phone support said that I should be able to click on "View" and "Show View Options", but "Show View Options" is grayed out.

Can't get my iTunes Match to sync properly with my iPhone 4S.

You misunderstand the memory management scheme and misinterpret the display you're seeing.
To start with, free memory is wasted memory. Once some disk contents have been brought in, it is wasteful to discard that data just to make the RAM that it occupied "free." Inactive memory is memory that is not currently used, can be given to an application that needs it without doing any disk I/O (or used as a destination for reading disk content) but which currently holds disk data that might be useful in the future. I.e., it's file content of some sort.
To get a better idea of how Mac OS X manages RAM and how to interpret the Activity Monitory dispaly, see this tech note: Mac OS X: Reading system memory usage in Activity Monitor.
Rosetta is indeed memory hungry, but it's an interim solution. With 2 GB of RAM installed, you can run a lot of applications with alacrity.
Lastly, your Safari, an Intel-native application, is currently using 2 GB. This is a known issue with Safari, though it seems to me that it has gotten better since 2.0.3 was released in 10.4.6. Still, it's a bit of a memory hog, to be sure. Now that Firefox, Camino and Seamonkey are all available in Universal (Intel native) forms, you have alternatives. Firefox seems a lot more parsimonious when it comes to RAM.

  • Itunes will not load all photos

Suddenly, my Ipad 3 will not load all of the photos that are in a folder onto the iPad into an album.  I have a folder of 58 images and iTunes recognizes that.  When I sync to add the images, itunes loads only 53 of them.  I have repeatedly attempted to sync and it keeps loading the 53 images.  I took the 5 images from the folder and put them in a new folder and Itunes will not load them.  These images are JPEG's and are not any larger of a file than the ones that did load.  I have even restored my Ipad and it still only will load the 53 images.
I had this same problem the other day where out of 96 images, it would only load 76.  I have plenty of HD space available.  I am at my wits end.  All software is up to date now and still same issues so not sure what the problem is.  I've deleted the iPod Cache folders, have a fresh install of ITunes and still no luck.  HELP!

You removed the cache from iPhoto - correct?

  • Itunes will not load entire music library only random songs to iPhone

My iTunes will only load random songs and not my entire library to my iPhone.

Beatport sells a choice of WAV or MP3. I have bought MP3s from Beatport and they added to iTunes without a problem. Just in case there is something going on with the files, try treating them with a 3rd party tag cleanup program such as MP3 Validator.

  • Why did iTune Match not upload all of my music?

Why do some of the songs on my phone appear as gray and not selectable to pull from the cloud?  I would understand if it was whole albums that did not upload, but it is very random as to which ones are there and which ones are not.  For example, I am sometimes missing 6 out of 10 songs on 1 album.  So what made 4 of the songs work, but the other 6 not work?  The ones that did not go to the cloud play on my computer fine, so I know they were locatable on my end.  I did see that some of the songs that did not go to the cloud were pointing to the wrong folder on my computer, so I fixed those.  I went ahead and started the iTunes Match process over again.  I am hoping this was the right thing to do.  I thought maybe the upload just failed somewhere in the middle of the process.  Any assistance you can provide to me in this matter would be most helpful.

    Hi Wartman73,
If some of your songs are not appearing in iTunes Match, I would first give this article a run through to see if that resolves the issue:

  • ITunes does not sync all music on 4s with new MAC

My daughter has an iPhone 4s that was sync-ed with her Windows PC. She recently got a new Macbook Pro. We added all her music to the new MAC and then tried to sync via "sync all checked songs" and iTunes is missing many songs. We then tried to sync by selecting artists and such and let it wipe all music. Once it was wiped we tried to sync fresh again and it still missed many songs. It sync partial albums. She is able to drag and drop manually to correct the missed songs, but would prefer to fix this so she can sync normally in the future. What can we do to get this fixed? I really dont want to do a restore and start from scratch...
    Thanks

I´ve tried every possible solution listed, those that have worked for others...nothing has worked. My library has about 2777 songs of which at first only 1370 loaded. After syncing w/o music, which deleted all music from my iPhone, I then selected Sync Music again and synced...well this time only 391 songs were added!!! It skipped the other 1400 I already had in! I´ve come to notice that these 391 songs are the ones purchased directly on the iTunes Store, but previously I had ALL my CD´s ripped and loaded to my iPhone.
I don´t know if this has something to do with the new iTunes version, but please, please, someone give me some light! I don´t want to go and convert all 2400 songs from MP3 to AAC..!! It´s not practical!
Thanks in advance for your comments.

  • 2 Computers, 1 AID: iTunes Match not syncing all songs

I have the following computers/devices all using the same Apple ID for iTunes Match:
-MBP used at home and remotely
    -iMac used at home
    -iMac used at work
    -2 iPhone 5s
    -iPad
All devices are using iOS 7.2 and 10.8.5, iTunes version 11.1.1.
The problem I'm having is that when I import music (or, in this specific case, an audiobook file) into iTunes on my MBP from a CD, that file does not show up on my iMac at home. The file's iCloud status is listed as "uploaded," and the file shows up on every iOS device, and on my iMac at work. Just not on my iMac at home. Both the MBP and my home iMac frequently share a home network.
    Thanks for your replies!

I just had a 1 hour talk with applecare about this.  I was esclated through several levels.
They are not reporting an issue with the iTunes Match service but I can nolonger add a device to iTunes match and they have no idea why.
I still have an open ticket.  But no known resolution... So I am betting it is a server side issue that Apple is not reporting.
My iOS devices are not working (iPad 3 and iPhone 4) my Apple TV however is working fine.  But not showing any new songs I have added.

  • Help - iTunes Windows not showing all music

I just discovered this - my iPhone has all my music and albums and artists are all correctly labeled and organized. my Win7 PC is all screwed up.
I'm not sure how/when this happened but at the moment about 700 songs are showing up in itunes without Artist, Album, or Genre info. In some cases, a few songs show up in the Album view and the rest are just missing. The only way I found them is by either viewing by Sony or doing a search. Most albums are still missing if I uncheck Group by Compilations.
All the songs are on my PC. I found them in 2 folders - iTune/iTunesMedia/Music seems to be what is displaying in iTunes. All of the ones missing info are in the Unknown Artist or Compilations folders.  They are in this folder and sub-grouped by Album and in Windows Explorer they still have the correct Album and Artist info showing. The weird thing is most of these are not compilations. I also have another folder /iTunes/Music that seems to have the correct folder structure but I don't think iTunes is using this folder.
I have tried several things. First i tried copying the songs/folders from either the 2nd database or from the Unknown Artist folder in the iTunes/iTunesMedia/Music folder. This did not change anything in iTunes.
I also tried deleting the iTunes library file and starting a new one. This also did not work but when it scans it brings up 2 copies of every song.
I tried manually importing a folder and selecting each album but this did not work, presumably since the songs are already in iTunes but not labelled correctly.
Is there a way to fix this? Remember my iPhone is fine and I do not want to have to manually update the info for each song/album to re-organize it.

any suggestions on how to resolve this?

  • Itunes do not load my music, applications, etc.

    Hi.
I restored my windows 7 64 bits and now my Itunes do not show me any music, applications, videos, etc.
But I have all this files in the itunes folder, please see the picture.
The structure of the Itunes 10.6.1.7 was changed?
How can I do to Itunes load all files again?

    Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

  • ITunes Match not showing all my songs or playlists

I've just upgraded to an iPhone 5, and successfully restored from an iCloud backup. All apps are downloaded and working ok. iOS is 6.1.3.
But, after turning on iTunes Match, I have no playlists and only a quarter of my songs (titles starting A - F) are appearing. Each time I open the Music app, the cloud icon and progress bar appear, as if it knows something is wrong, but it disappears after a minute or two and nothing's happened.
Songs that do appear download and play normally.
I've been through this process before without a hitch, so any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Meant to also say, I have also tried repeatedly turning iTunes Match on and off, and signing out of iTunes and signing back in, all to no avail.

  • ITunes Match not updating on iPad or iPhone

I have iTunes Match enabled on 3 computers and two iOS devices both on 5.0.1.  When I make changes to the library on any of the 3 computers, the other two computers will reflect those changes (whether it is adding new songs or changing artwork or ratings etc).  However, the iPhone and iPad will not reflect those changes.  I have restored from new and from backup and still the same problem.  Any suggestions?

    Thanks for the reply
I do all my updating on my main computer that has always had my library.  All changes are reflected on the other two computers.  I even tested making changes from those two computers and all computers reflect the changes.  It seems to be just the iPhone now as since I first posted this, for some odd reason, the iPad is now seeing the changes.  I have closed out the iTunes app from the multitask menu.  I have also rebooted, powered off, toggled itunes Match off and on again (which is odd because when i turn it off, it does not remove the itunes Match songs which I thought it would have and only kept the locally stored songs).  I think I will have to try a clean restore again and maybe that will solve the problem.  I am all out of things to do to rectify this problem.
