ITunes plus label on the album, but then disappears....

I recently went to purchase "leaves in the river" by Sea Wolf, and under the album logo it said it was an iTunes plus cd. When I click on the album and get the details of the album, it no longer says that it is an iTunes plus album, nor is there the plus symbol by all of the songs.
Even more confusing, I bought the single first to see whether I liked the music or not, and the same day I decided to buy the album. iTunes then told me I had to update all my other music to iTunes plus before I can buy this iTunes plus album. How did the single download as protected? I resolved it with iTunes, and I can now go buy the whole album, but I would like to get it as iTunes plus.
Any suggestions? I tried contacting iTunes help, but they have done nothing other than credit my account 99 cents....

Did you make this purchase on an iPad or a Mac? If purchased on iPad have you attempted to complete album from the iPad iTunes store or the Mac iTunes store?

If You press cmd+tab keys (cmd = the one with a cringle) (tab = left side keyboard third row big arrow pointing to the right)
By keeping cmd-key down and stepping with tab-key You can see if the iMovie symbol show up. then release.
Did it come back ?

Purchased a album on iTunes and all of the album but one song loaded but the one is showing purchased.

Purchased a album from iTunes. Loaded all the songs using my phone everything downloaded like it was suppose to other than one song is showing purchased everywhere out to the side of it, where all the others are listed as play. And all the other songs titled on this album are in black print the one that isn't working is grey. Please help.

Try deleting the problematic tune (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

If I'm right about that, I'm still not really clear at all about what you're doing. Where are you importing these songs and albums from? Is it existing songs files and if so, what format are they in?

When you download something from the iCloud, it is a brand new licensed copy. Your iCloud account just contains a notation that you have this app. It isn't storing an actual copy of the app from your Mac.

Initially your music should be in your iTunes library on your computer. Once match completes its scan, your music will have been matched or uploaded. I suggest that you add iCloud status column to song view. This will tell you what has been matched, uploaded, purchased, inelligible, duplicate or waiting. What is the status of your tracks that are not playing.
If space is not an issue, I suggest that you keep the music on the internal hard drive otherwise you can delete the tracks and play from cloud. In both instances, you should maintain a back up of all your music on a separate hard drive.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, I would recommend trying a thorough uninstall and reinstall of iTunes as described here:

Hi, did you ever solve this problem?
My 1 year old -- ha! one month out of warranty -- iPhone 4 has been having a nearly identical problem over the past few days.
It started by dying completely so I had the battery replaced, thinking it was simply battery issue.
It then worked again for a moment but started doing exactly what you describe, going through a reset cycle (longer than 30 seconds but who's counting). And it felt quite warm.
Did hard reset, plugged into wall charger and MBP USB but the new battery wouldn't even get a full charge (a whopping 92% after nearly two days). It would even lose battery when plugged in if I opened an app. And all the while plugged in, if I left the phone on, it would cycle through these resets. So I turned it off to try to charge it.
Now suddenly, it's dead again. Totally black, and hard reset does nothing. Up until two days ago there was nothing wrong whatsoever with this phone! And I hadn't even installed a new app that could be the root of the issue. No idea whatsoever what caused this.
Any help would be much appreciated!!

Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button.
5. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad. Data will be lost.

Error while opening iTunes CD driver. This could be caused by a corrupted iTunes file or a conflict with other older CD burning applications, either currently installed or previously installed and uninstalled incorrectly.

Itunes plus is overlooking numerous albums and sons for upgrade

I've been upgrading my music using iTunes plus. Unfortunately, iTunes is failing to offer me the upgrade option for several albums and miscellaneous songs -- despite the fact THAT THESE ARE STILL AVAILABLE IN THE ITUNES STORE.
I haven't changed accounts or anything.
Has anyone else had this problem and managed to get it solved by Apple? How?
If I have to rebuy these albums, it sure and heck won't be from Apple.

Yes I have the exact same problem. While many songs show up in my "Upgrade to iTunes Plus" link on the iTunes Store, there are many many more that do not appear in this list. These are the exact same tracks, on the same album, and the same price point (bought for 0.99 and they are still 0.99) but they don't show up in the upgrade page.
Further to this: I think if the songs you originally purchased have changed price points (was 0.99 but now the price is 1.29) then the upgrade may not work.
Another annoying thing I noticed is that many of the upgrades that I did purchase are actually different versions of the tracks from a different album, even thought the original version of the track is there at the store on the same album at the same price point! Very frustrating.
Would love to hear if somebody knows why some tracks don't show up as available upgrades.
