ITunes says a newer version of software (4.3.3) is available.  However, when I download it it gives me an error message after the download is complete.  Any solutions?

When I sync my iPhone 4 with iTunes it says that a newer version of software (4.3.3) is available.  However, after it appears to download the software I get an error message that the server timed out.  What's happening?
