Itunes store content not appearing in itunes

When I click on the iTunes Store button, nothing appears in the window.  I can get to my account information, but I cannot get to any content in the iTunes store.

Hey jorox_jorox,
The first thing I'd start off with is going through the steps in the following document:

  • HT4528 songs downloaded from itunes store is not appearing in itunes on any device

The songs purchased from my iphone itunes store are not appearing in my music library on itunes and I can not get them onto my ipod.

    Hello bradrahaman,
Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with your purchased songs.  You can download your previous purchases from your account on the iTunes Store on your computer.
Use the steps in the section titled “Download previous purchases on Mac or PC ” in the following article:
    Download past purchases
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519
Additionally, you can enable Automatic Downloads on your computer so that in the future items purchased on your iPhone will automatically download to iTunes on your computer.  Use the steps in the section titled “Enabling Automatic Downloads on your computer” in the article below:

  • Apps downloaded in iTunes Store do not appear under iTunes Apps tab

Apps downloaded in the iTunes Store (either as updates to existing apps or as new) do not appear under the 'Apps' tab in iTunes.
iTunes requests my Apple ID and password and the files will download afterward.  However, they do not appear in the 'Apps' tab.  This is confirmed by right-clicking >> Get Info.  No update to the version and new apps do not appear.
Of note, I am running Lion an iMac 3.06 Core 2 Duo w/ iTunes 10.7.
My iTunes Library is located on a Mac Mini Server running Lion Server.  I've checked permissions and every folder and library file is set to 'Read & Write' so it doesn't appear to be a permissions issue.
    Any ideas?

Also, I've tried individually downloading an app flagged for update in iTunes without any luck.

When I click on the itunes store this message appears."Itunes could not connect to the Itunes store. The network connection timed out". what am I doing wrong?

  • Itunes store will not open when itunes is started

New Iphone 4.  Wouldn't run on old Itunes version.  Downloaded itunes 10.5 and locks up when opening the Itunes Store.  Music accessible from old files, but no Store therefore cannot download IOS5 for the phone.
Have tried uninstalling multiple times and end up in the same spot.  Have this same issue on two separate laptops, both running Windows XP SP3.
    Help please!!

    Hello there Bob,
It sounds like the iTunes Store is not launching on your phone when you tap it to try and open it and restarting the phone has not helped. I have a few recommendations for this issue. I would start by closing all the open apps on the phone.
iOS: Force an app to close
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
    Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that, sign out of your iTunes account in Settings > iTunes and App stores, and restart the phone:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
If the issue persists, I would next backup your device to iTunes, and restore it:

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the very best,

  • Itunes store purchases not appearing in my purchase folder in music app

In previous phone and IOS versions I was able to see my Purchased songs from Itunes Store in my Purchased folder in the music app after I purchased them on my iPhone. Now I don't see them in the folder unless I sysc with my computer. Why? I purchased them on the iPhone so why not put them in the Purchase fodler after I buy them. I can find them within artist or album but I like to listen to purchased folder when I purchase a lot of new music at one time by different artists. I currently have iPhone 6 and the most updated version of IOS.

  • ITunes store does not show in iTunes

I just reinstalled a fresh version of iTunes (V10.5.3.3) on my PC (XP, SP3). The program starts OK, but clicking on 'iTunes Store' at the left, leaves me with an empty window at the right part. No menu at the top (Music, Films, App Store, etc) and no items in the store below that are visible.
Anyone any idea what can be going on here? It is NOT the internet connection: another computer here loads iTunes fine; no problems.
For your info: I use Norman anti virus control and that is (proved) NOT the problem. The other computer also runs Norman and there iTunes works 100% fine.

    Try this,
    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

  • ITunes Store will not load in iTunes 11.0.1

    I am using Mac OS X 10.7.5.

    try this:
Start --> Programs --> Accessories (Right Click on Command Prompt) --> Run as Administrator
    then type in:
    netsh winsock reset
After this restart - it worked for me perfectly
    got it from another thread:

    Thanks to Xeta!!!
That worked for me also! Using Windows 7 64-bit with Quicktime & iTunes 10.5

  • Purchased itunes music does not appear in itunes since reinstall

Its my wifes ipod, I had a fatal HD crash, had a recovery service retrieve all the data. As I am now rebuilding my pc again I did a fresh install of itunes, then replaced the itunes folder from the new instal on C:drive with the retrieved folder on an external drive. It seemed to populate all the nusic (68 G) but as I a looking through itunes the purchased music playlist is empty and I know She purchased a lot of music.. What do I do? Also should I be sure she does not auto synch before this issue is resolved>
    Thanx
    Dan

If you think all the music is there, you can sync to the ipod.
The purchased playlist is a smart playlist. Since you re-added the music to itunes, it just doesn't show them in the purchase playlist, but they are porbably still in the main itunes library.
You can make 2 smart playlists to find the files
Kind contains purchased (this will show itunes plus content)
Kind contains protected (this will show non-itunes plus content)

  • Iomega Home Media Network Hard Drive contents not appearing in iTunes

I'm running iTunes 10.5.1 on my MacBook which is running OS X 10.6.8
I've got an iomega Home Media Network Hard Drive ( http://tinyurl.com/l8jmaa ) NAS hooked up to my home intranet, and I use it as the master repository for all my music for iTunes, as I've got multiple computers in the house, and the device (with iTunes and DLNA activated) will show up in the "Shared" section of my iTunes source list, and I can view and play all my music from there.
Sometime over the course of the last few iTunes updates, however, this functionality broke, and I'm not sure why.  The device shows up in the "Shared" section still, but when I click on it, iTunes shows a message on its screen that says "Loading "Iomega-0557fc" (yeah yeah, I didn't give my drive a spiffy name, I just stuck with the stock out-of-the-box name) and gives me the horixzontal cady-cane, and the little circle spinner spins away to the right of the device in the source list, but iTunes never actually completes the task of bringing up an index of the drive.
The drive itself is fully functional.  All the settings are proper on it, I can move data on and off from the Finder, I can even drag-and-drop music files from the NAS in the Finder into iTunes and the files will add to playlists and play just fine (I've got "Copy files to iTunes Media Folder..." turned off, so I know they're playing from the NAS) so it's not like there's some kind of malfuction on the NAS itself.  I've also made sure I've got the latest firmware updates and such.
I'm sure I'm not the only one with one of these drives, and I'm hoping someone else has encountered this issue and figured it out!  Any help is appreciated!

Hi , I have similar problem..It was working initially and for some reason it stopped. I device shows up on the SHARED , however when I click it doesnt load the songs..however I am able to stream songs from Iomega NAS via other DLNA clients (ace player etc in ipad)...

  • 2 users on same iMac; 2 different iTunes; burned CDs not appearing in iTunes

My wife and I have an iMac 27", and we have our own users set up; however, we wish to share iTunes music library with each other.  (She syncs her iPhone with her user signon, and I sync my iPhone with my user signon.)  The songs we wish to share are all CDs that have been burned into iTunes using my user signon.  The songs show up in my iTunes; however, they do not show up with her signon.  Is this possible, or does that go against piracy laws?
I currently have iTunes in a public (shared) folder; however, this does not seem to work.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Timo

Hmm... this is a bit technical,
Try posting in the iTunes Match forum, you'll probably find more knowledgeable folks there.

  • ITunes Store does not fully appear on screen

The iTunes store does not fully "load" on screen. It takes 2-3 minutes for just a few images to appear and then it stops. Everything else about iTunes is functioning completley well as are all of my other internet connections/processes. This problem has existed for around one month and we have upgraded to iTunes 9. Please help !

Perhaps try the iTunes Store loads partially or returns "Error 306" or "Error 10054" section in the Specific Conditions and Alert Messages: (Mac OS X / Windows) section of the following document:

  • Itunes store does not show music

Why I couldn't find "Music" appears on the bar of iTunes store?

Not all content types are available in all countries, and Hong Kong is one of those countries where music is not currently available - have you got access to other music purchase download sites, or you could copy your own CDs via iTunes.
