ITunes TV Shows - How can I consolidate the view, aka sort by season?

I have multiple seasons of various TV shows in iTunes. Each season has its own listing when you click on TV Shows. What I would like is for the view to condense the TV shows, then I could expand them to see the individual seasons and episodes. Here's an example of what one TV show looks like in iTunes:

I've seen pictures of various people's iTunes libraries where they are condensed into listings of the show, with the seasons/episodes listed within them. I don't get how this is done because even when you buy multiple seasons on the iTunes store, they show up as separate entries in TV Shows.
Here is a screenshot of someone else's iTunes library, describing exactly what I'm looking for. It's old, but you get the idea:

When you use the word Category what you are talking about is Genre
In the get info box on the info tab you can set it at the bottom. If Sci-Fi and Fantasy or whatever you want is not in there then type in whatever value you want and it will assign it

You can't merge Apple IDs.
And you also can't change the name of an iTS Apple ID to another one that ends in a me.com.

If the value of the card isn't printed on it and you don't have the purchase receipt, the only way to determine the value of the card is by redeeming it. If you have already redeemed it, then the card is now valueless. The credit balance is carried in your iTunes Store account and will be displayed in iTunes next to your Apple ID when you're signed into the iTunes Store, or on an iOS device at the bottom of the screen in the App Store or iTunes Store apps.

Thanks. I know how to do that, however, I thought it only works with the imported content not the purchased ones. The reason for wanting this was that I keep all my music in NAS drive for SONOS (the wireless music system) will need the music to be in NAS so that it can play music while the mac is on sleep mode.
Anyhow, I will try again and let you know if it does work.

To update your phone requires using the latest version of iTunes, on your computer, as well as Internet access. The update to iOS 5.0 or higher is an erase/restore deal, so you not only have to make sure all of the content, currently on your phone, is on your computer and accessible, you need to update iTunes first, have Internet access, then update your phone. There is no way around this fact. You could go to an Apple store or use another computer, but you run the risk of losing all of your data it you do that.

I lost my itunes media folder and also my iPhoto files. I have the majority of the photos from iPhoto library on my iPad. How can I get them from my iPad to another location. Like exporting them to a folder on an external drive.Is this possible. I know I can move photos I've taken with the ipad to a new iphoto, but how can a get the old iphoto photos from my ipad to a new location? I'm basically starting over. Don't ask what happened. It was horrible.

An external drive? Not sure that there is any way of doing that. There are a number of WiFi transfer apps that should let you transfer the photos back to the Mac itself. Look at some of these.

Well folks I finally got my "can't connect to iTunes" issues fixed. Seems that there was an unauthorized change to my email address and account therefore not allowing mr to connect to iTunes.
Here is how I got it fixed.
1. Contacted iTunes store support
2. Followed their instructions and replyed with the following info:
An order number from one of my purchases
Last 4 digits of the c.c. Used for the iTunes store acct
Answer to one of my security questions
And 2 items from this list.
Birthdate
Billing address for Acct
Phone number on acct
It was after all of this that they saw that someone had made an account modification back in February when the issue began. Seems they changed my email address just slightly and that is what kept me from being able to sign in and not a password issue. This was likely due to a phishing email that came out in conjunction with iCloud asking users to change their passwords to a more secure form by adding a capital and number.
To get all of this cleared up it took about 4 days as we emailed back and forth. I also needed a seperate email address they could use to send me info. Once they determined the issues and went to get them fixed by changing the email address associated with the acct and I created a new password I was able to access iTunes with no issues and even my previously thought lost acct balance was there.

Restore it in iTunes on your computer.
There is a difference between registering with Apple and using it with iTunes. To register it (which isn't necessary) you would have to get the previous owner to de-register it.

Do you have multiple accounts or have you updated your account on your computer's iTunes and the update hasn't copied over to your iPhone ? If you've updated your account then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores on your phone and log out of it and then log back in with the updated version.
If you have multiple accounts then you can log out of your account on your phone as above, or your computer's iTunes via the Store > Sign Out menu option, and you can then log in with the other account. But all content is tied to the account that downloaded it.

In version 10, I could download a podcast or an app to my iPhone from the app store, then the app or podcast would co COPIED to iTunes during a sync. Not 100% sure of your question. If you are wanting to delete apps from itunes just right click then delete then empty recycle bin.
