ITunes U Usage Report Missing Data

Greetings All;
We just received our monthly iTunes Usage report and for the week of 7/24 and 7/31, the report shows "0" activity in all fields.
Anyone experiencing a similar issue? Any thoughts? Thanks!

I have the same problem. The two reports (dz and the regular) show 0 of the two weeks 7/24 and 7/31. Also the data of the week of 2011-07-17 is incorrect (compared to the one sent a couple of weeks ago.)

Compiling iTunes U Usage Reports?

Has someone come up with a good way to compile the iTunes U Reports into something useful? I appreciate Apple's "iTunes U: Usage report" for knowing what tracks are getting hits, but putting the data together week by week is a pain. I was wondering if someone had figured out a better way? Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I used good ol' fashion Perl to create a web app for distributing stats to our various internal players.
I cron job GetDailyReportLogs once a night to get the stats, then use Perl to parse the stats into meaningful data for year, month, series, episode, etc. Then, my favorite part, I use Perl's Data::Serializer to save all these data to files.
When a user loads the app, I just pull up the already processed data file and pass it to HTML::Template files. Because the data are already in the correct format for my various line charts, bar graphs and tables, the page loads very quickly and I'm not reprocessing the same data over and over, and I'm using AJAX to pull in the template for each chart individually.
So, using the iTunes U web services and Perl, I was able to pretty easily create a web app that lets users dig through their own usage stats. They can view top series, total downloads, most viewed episodes for the year, month, series, etc.
Perl might be old fashion, but I still love it.

Where did the iTunes U Usage Reports Go?

I haven't received a usage report for our iTunes U analytics since 2/2/12. Before that, I steadily received them once a week. What's going on?

MeetingPlace 7.1.1 monthly usage report missing

Hi,
I have MeetingPlace 7.1.1 and when I want to create report for monthly usage from Application server it seems that 8 months are missing (see attachment)
Anyone had this problem before ?

Historical Report - Missing data

Hello,
We have a problem with Historical Report, for some reason we cannot generate report "Agent State Summary by Agent" on particular date (other report have no problem on that particular date). While generating the report, we get the error message "A runtime error occurred while executing the query. Please check log for more detail.".

To fix this kind of issue we need to check if replication between two server is good or not .
1)Command :- utils uccx dbreplication status (run this command on both the server's
2) If replication is good then check the status of historical datastore from control center
3)if all the services are good then check which report is failing .I mean if agent report is failing then
run below command to check if that table if fine
admin:run uccx sql db_cra select count(*) from agentstatedetail
you can query different tables depending on reports .
you will get ISAM error in executing sql query then reboot the server . If it does not resolved the problem then open TAC case . we need to drop the table and create it again .
If Row's on both server's are not matching then we might need to repair the database.
Command :- utils uccx dbreplication repair db_cra
Note:- Please contact TAC before executing these commands.

Excel exports/scheduled reports missing data labels

Hi All,
New to the forum so apologies if this has already been posted/answered.
When saving Webi reports to Excel or reviewing scheduled reports in Excel myself and other recipients are noticing corrupted bar chart graphics whereby the only data labels visible is the first on the left only....all of that data is there in the hidden sheets yet not being displayed
My own IT dept have been banging on about IE versions but this makes no sense as recipeints of the scheduled reports are also seeing the same problem and they're obviously not viewing/saving anything via a browser session.
Does anyone have any clues as to what might be causing this...have reviewed all of the Excel 2007 options but nothing jumps out at me.

Reports missing data?

hello,
I have a physical server which is showing the performance only on VM rules?
there is nothing for the "Memory % Committed Bytes in Use 2008" ??? why? What did I miss?

When you add the server to the series, under "series details", rather than choosing "Add Object", choose "Add Group" and find the object with class "windows computer". If you choose "Add Object" I believe you have to choose the immediate class that the collection
rule is targetted at (SCOM is a lot pickier about choosing the exact class in this circumstance). So provided the rule rolls up to "Windows Computer", which in this case it does, and you choose the correct rule, which I think you did, it should then work because
"Add Group" includes "all contained objects" when running the report against the rule.
Thats how I think it works, and is my best guess at getting it to work more easily anyway :)

ITunes Sales Trend Reports missing so far 2009?

Is it just me? Or are there not sales trend reports for apps since the start of the new year? Usually we are informed when there are scheduled blackouts. I am expecting them to appear tomorrow, but.. getting a little concerned.
just let me know if you also have not reports since the 31st.

they are there for me - just look at the bottom of the popup menu for the dates as the January dates appear below the December dates.

Aspx not displaying graphics, report missing data

I have a aspx application that loads a report and filters the report based on some paramaters pass to it. Now i my development library (WinXP SP2) it works fine but when i publish it to the webserver that is hosting it (Server2K3 SP2) i get a issue where none of the icons for the crystal report viewer are visible (it works under development fine) as well as only a portion of the report is visible.
Any Suggestions or solutions to fix this.

have you done the merge utility to get the keycodev2.dll and everything in synch? When we "try/catch" everything for gracefull error handling, it can be very hard to debug. Capture those error messages, and i think you will see somthing about keycodev2.dll. See the deployment whitepaper.

Capacity Utilization Reports no data

Hi all, starting a new thread as none of the similar threads have been able to resolve my issue.
We have System Center 2012 SP1 on Server 2012, SCOM VMM, SM, Orchestrator, App Controller etc.
When I run the Capacity Utilization report I only have data returned for PIF, Net transfer, Capacity Utilization and Dick IO all return;
No data available. Possible causes include::
The performance rules for the report have not been enabled in the VMM Reports MP.
No computers match your selection criteria.
I am adding the Hyper-V host to the report, I have also added the Windows server objects to the report.
The SCOM host has the execution policy set to Unrestricted as per one post I have found. Pro Tips do work when tested.

Popularity trend/usage report is not working in sp2013. Data was not being processed to EVENT STORE folder which was present under the Analytics_GUID folder.

I am working in a sharepoint migration project. We have migrated one SharePoint project from moss2007 to sp2013. Issue is when we are clicking on Popularity trend > usage report, it is throwing an error.
Issue: The data was not being processed to EVENT STORE folder which was present under the
Analytics_GUID folder. Also data was not present in the Analytical Store database.

I have verified few things in server which are mentioned below
Two timer jobs (Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Usage Data Processing, Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Usage Data Import) are running fine.
APPFabric Caching service has been started.
Analytics_GUID folder has been
shared with
WSS_ADMIN_WPG and WSS_WPG and Read/Write access was granted
.usage files are getting created and also the temporary(.tmp) file has been created.
uasage logging database for uasage data being transported. The data is available.
Please provide pointers on what needs to be done.

According to your description, my understanding is that you could not use popularity trend after you migrated SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2013.

Report missing some data from dataset

Hi
I populate my report using a dataset and most of the time the report generation is successful.
but after a while (3-5 reports) I start getting missing data in the report. Either the png blobs do not get printed or some other string fields. Usually the same strings are missing.
If I continue generating reports after that I get "report could not be submitted for background processing" error or since I use some fields for formatting I get errors corresponding to those formulas where I try to use the missing fields.
I have checked the dataset before SetDataSource and it is complete, images and all.
Is there some way to restart the embedded crystal reports thread/process programmatically from c#? if the problem is because of memory fragmentation, this might solve the problem.
I use crystal reports basic 2008 for visual studio 2008.

In a memory intensive environment like this, it is possible that we will run into these issues. The thing is - as I understand these tings, Microsoft does not let a 3rd party just go out and use the dataset. E.g.; the Crystal Reports engine is forced to make a copy of the dataset and use that. So, now you've chewed up more memory again. It would be interesting to do four things;
1) monitor the memory and see if there is a particular value at which it is more likely to get the issue
2) take out the report and dataset into another sample app that is not using these x-rays and see if you duplicate the issue there
3) see if CR 2008 (12.x) handles the memory better. As these versions go, there are always improvements. I am not aware of a particular "thing" done to the report engine or database engine in this respect, but it may be worth trying. An eval of CR 2008 can be downloaded from here:

What is the best procedure to analyse a problem missing data in BW. the question could be unclear but I am looking for a method to determine directly and without taking long time in follwing the dataflow to be able to say that we have a problem getting a field A ou B.

Hi Anis,
you can debug data flow or let's say specific data load between 2 objects e.g. datasource and DSO or DSO an cube etc... you can track down e.g. like specific sales order was loaded e.g some specific field is treated within the load (e.g. in case there is ABAP routine used). However it is always better to start either from:
top->bottom = report->datasource (source table or extractor checked)
or
bottom->top = datasource->report
and go layer by layer (or infoprovider by inforprovider) to see if particular value is still there.
