Itunes wont download at all!!!!! PLEASE HELP

i just got a new computer and im trying to download itunes but once its done downloading it goes into an error!!!something about compaq_administrator/itunes not valid_win32....please help

Are you sure you have a 4g/3g iPod? If you don't have a camera, it's definitely not 4G. If it has no camera and is 8 or 16 Gb it is a 2G and can't go beyond 4.2.1.

ITUNES WONT OPEN AT ALL - PLEASE HELP!

Can someone please help me! I downloaded itunes 6 about a week ago, its been working fine up until last night. Everytime I go to open itunes I get the annoying error message - 'itunes has encountered a problem and needs to close'.
I have tried re-installing itunes and quick time, I have tried recreating my library, still doesnt work.
I think it may be something to do with quicktime, as when I click on it on my desktop I get an error message and it wont open. Also when I go to the quicktime page on apple.com I get a message saying about a plugin wasnt initialized. Quicktime isnt in my add/remove programs list either. I have tried installing the QuickTime standalone download, its almost does it then I get error message come up saying something like DLL Function Call Crashed!
I would really appreciate it if someone has any help on this as Apple couldnt care less!

Go here. Da Gopha, "iTfW: stepwise clean uninstallation of iTunes", 09:51am Apr 5, 2005 CDT and do a stepwise clean uninstallation of iTunes. That might help. Sometimes extra hidden files can muck up an installation.

iTunes wont download at all, at first I have no idea why! ive been trying to get it for over a month now. In which it downloaded once, but would not open. Someone please help me! I have windows vista.

I downloaded Quicktime seperately from iTunes and i got that with no problem and it worked just fine but i cant get iTunes at all
and i have follwed the instructions on the website about uninstalling everything but nothing seems to be working
...is there any possible way that anybody can help me out with this.

Itunes wont update ipod! please help!

For some reason when i plug my ipod into my computer it won't update my ipod! It recognises the ipod and says "do not disconnect" but it wont add any new songs at all. I'm going away tomorrow and i really want all of my newest music to take with me. Its an old but fully working 40gb touchbar. Please help! xx

Maybe you have the iPod set to manual transfer, in which case you need to drag and drop music from iTunes into the iPod.
Check in iPod preferences.

Okay so I have an HP windows 8 laptop and I've tried downloading itunes like 10 times and still nothing!! Everytime it downloads and gets ready to install I get a "error 2" message saying "Apple application support was not found" "Apple application support is required to run itunes. Please uninstall itunes and then install itunes again. thank you" I've uninstalled it and re installed it soo many times and im getting very annoyed ! I just want to download it. I tried to update my I tunes version 7.1 it would not update. THen I unistalled tried to install with a new copy didnt work. Tried to install an old version (4 from cd) it says the .dtl something was to new and iTunes could not open. So I unistalled the (cd version) and tried to download. The download just hangs. It wont download. My ipod stays on a gray diagnostic screen and doebn't work either. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

it was a little hard to read your post due to your grammar, but I need some more info on you in order to help.
First off, I need to know which Windows OS you are running? What antivirus and firewall programs are you running? Is iTunes and/or Quicktime installed on your PC?
Have you gone to Windows Website to download and install any new updates recently?

iTunes is being very difficult atm! reinstalled the iTunes software and the error message comes 'iTunes wont install properly...'.
I have run a diagnostics test and hoping someone can point in the direction of how to fix it! cannot even connect my iphone device to it.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Help itunes won download tried everything please help

ok just got my itouch today and tried to download itunes it got to the part where the green is almost finished and it says on the status bar that it is starting services then a thing pops up and says ipod service modulestopped working and was closed then in small lettering under that it says a problem caused the application to stop working i have looked around to see if i could find something that might help and have found nothing so please someone help me

However I try to open it (double clicking/right click and launch/run as administrator) the little blue circle appears that shows something is happening (like the old egg timer) for about ten seconds, then nothing.

Some questions aimed at narrowing in even further on possible culprits.
(1) Does your QuickTime Player launch, or do you get an error message of some kind when you try to launch that?
(2) If your QuickTime seems to be launching fine, try (by way of experiment) disabling the BonJour Service.
In your Start Menu, right-click Computer and select "Manage".
Expand "Services & Applications".
Open "Services". (Maximise the window to better see what's going on.)
Right-click the BonJour Service and select "Properties". In the "General" tab, set Start-up type to "Disabled".
Restart the PC, and try launching iTunes again. Does it launch this time?
If iTunes launches with the BonJour Service disabled, by any chance do you have a recent version of IOBit's Advanced SystemCare utility currently installed on the PC? If so, try uninstalling and reinstalling Advanced SystemCare. Can you launch iTunes without having to disable the BonJour Service now?

ok so when ever i open my itunes it says it has to redownload, after it goes through that it says that to make the operation work i have either restart my computer or restart it later. i have done both and its not working, i dont know whats hte matter with it, oh and if it has anythin to do with it i have Vista

Try using a differnt USB cord. Or hold down the power/home button together for 10 to 15 sec or until you see the apple logo and then release, wait for your phone to boot back up.

Can you start QuickTime on your computer?
You'll probably have to search for the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and use it to remove QuickTime Player and iTunes. Then download and install the iTunes again.
