ITunes would not run & load on Windows 7 starter 32 bit

Hi,
I'm having a problem with iTunes and it will not load and run I would clic the icon and nothing happens, it doesn't even load. I have already unistalled the application and tried to repair it, I also restarted my computer. I had already had iTunes on my current PC but one day it stopped working. I also open the application and not the shortcut and still the same.
Windows 7 - starter
32 bit
iTunes 11

Tried to uninstall and reinstall error codes , error 2 also windows error 2 , apple application support error installing and I get this big long one 8.0 ver windows32 . Took the computer too staples tech guys they said it had something to do with apple and iTunes not supporting 32 bit version of windows 7 ?

ITunes update won't load on windows 7 starter

I am trying to load the update for iTunes but it isn't working. I go to Help --> Check for update and I get a message that an update is found. I click on Install Update and nothing happens. I've tried rebooting, running iTunes as an administrator and even loading windows updates. Nothing works. I need to update iTunes so that I can load the updates on my iPhone.

With that one, try updating using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) downloaded from the Apple website:

I was having the same problem and the culprit was my web accelerator via Google Firefox. I have to turn of the accellerator before itunes will connect. Try that.

Yes it would, possibly even brick it.
Have successfully connected my ipod nano with iTunes so looks like the device driver is working.
Can I use my ipod nano USB connector to check?
It is not much help to you, since the device that you need still not recognized.
Anyway looks like I may have to swallow the loss of data. Have set-up a call for tomorrow with Apple support so will wait until after this before doing the factory restore!

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall press on)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Follow these instructions to completely remove Apple software

Then use free Ccleaner to repeatly repair your registry until it's fixed.

If you have 64bit Vista or Windows 7, look for the seperate download of iTunes for that further down the page.
Once installed, use the Apple Software Update under your Start Menu to fully update all Apple components.
Your content will remain on the drive in the Music > iTunes Folder, nothing is deleted.
You should be making backups of your content regularly, either through iTunes or via copying the iTunesFolder in your Music folder to a external drive.
Windows is notorious for having "other" issues that make it unstable, we as volunteers helping others can't always resolve those issues.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! I understand that iTunes is not opening after uninstalling and re-installing it. When iTunes is uninstalled on a Windows computer, all of its components must be removed as well and they must be removed in a specific order. Below is the article for uninstalling on Windows 7. I recommend uninstalling iTunes and all components in order and reinstalling fresh.

When I click 'OK' the window closes and then nothing happens.
When I click 'Help' nothing happens.

It's probably QuickTime 7.3 that is the problem. Uninstall it and install version 7.2 instead. http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/quicktime72forwindows.html

I had a similar thing happen to me, I recovered my purchased songs from my Ipod some played but some didn't. I would say the ones you can not play even after authorizing them are currupt. Just click this link http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/musicstore/lostmusic/ at the bottom of the page under the heading "Email Support" Fill out the basic info and tell them you have lost your bought music. they should email you back telling you they have set up a download quere and how to redownload your songs without having to pay for them again. Were the photos taken by your new iPhone? If so, did you not import them off your phone to your computer (as you would any other digital camera) before the restore? If not, restoring wiped the data off the phone and your pictures are gone.

This "original file cannot be found" thing happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .
