when they press "start" under quick start, it results in "page not found" error. All the partners

  • BUG? Interactive report select other tab results in Page not found

    Hello all,
Recently I have updated our Apex install to version 4.0.1 on Oracle 11.2. There I found the following problem, for which I don't know if it is a bug or not:
    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Select a sample application and open a page that contains an interavtive report
    2. Run the page
    3. Click on "Actions" and select "Filter"
    4. Wait for the filter to show and then select any other tab.
This results in a page not found. The address bar shows the link: http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/wwv_flow.accept without any parameters.
I have tried to use another template and finally I turned to the sample applications. There this issue can also be found.
    My questions:
    1. Is this problem already known
    2. Is there a work around? because this can be very annoying for our customer.
    Thanks!
    Mark.

  • Report export (CSV) results in page not found error

    Hello,
I'm having this strange error which i cannot seem to figure out. I have enabled report export through CSV in a report (report attributes). When i click the link in the report i get a page not found error (http 404). At first i thought it was a problem with the http-server. But as other applications (on different databases) don't have this problem i'm thinking it has to do with this apex-instance. Till 2 days ago it did work on this instance too.
I'm really out of ideas, so if anyone can push me in the right direction i would really appreciate!
    Apex 3.2
    DB 10.2.0.4
    Thanks,
    Patrick

Does this compare to the same as the url for your page?
    Has your server changed?
Have you changed the dad file recently?
have you checked the Apache access/error logs right after the 404 error is encountered ?
    Gus..

  • Behance links result in "page not found"

In the Behance tab of the Creative Cloud app there are two buttons, "Add work" and "View profile".
Whenever these are clicked a new browser opens with the message:
    {"http_code":404,"messages":[{"type":"error","message":"Page not found"}]}
    Creative Cloud 1.2.1.260
    Mac 10.8.5

    Scott,
Thank you for keeping with me and providing me with both help and explanation, I appreciate it.
Do I have to be a DBA in order to view the alert log? I only have access to tables and information through APEX, I'm just a developer, I don't know how to access the alert log through APEX and the information on the pages you provided does not appear to use APEX in order to display this information. If only a DBA can view the alert log, how would I ask it of them to view this information? That is, where do I tell them to look and what are they looking for?
Back to my original question and your last question about it, the URL I get when I get the "page not found" goes from being "https://esddev.wvu.edu/ncf/f?p=104:5:..." to "https://esddev.wvu.edu/wvu404error.html". It looks like this is a custom-created page intended to handle errors, however I have gotten errors in the past which did not lead to the "page not found" page. Would this be something set up by a DBA?
I wish there was a way to show you more of what I've done. Do you want me to include my PL/SQL? I have the PL/SQL which generates the checkboxes, and I have the PL/SQL which is supposed to either save the information into a new table or delete the record. Let me know if that might help you.
    Thanks again,
    Jim

  • Run jsp in developer results in page not found

    Yo,
I use jdeveloper 9.0.2.822 and I've made a simple jsp that calls a report made with Report Builder. When I want to run the jsp , the embedded OC4J start with following ports: HTTP=8989, RMI=23891, JMS=9227.
    In the "server.xml" file, I find :
    <application auto-start="false" name="current-workspace-app" path="C:\apps\oracle\ora9idevj2\jdev\mywork\report_space\report_space-oc4j-app.xml"/>
In the "report_space-oc4j-app.xml" file, I find:
    <web-module id="report_space-report_Project-webapp" path="C:\apps\oracle\ora9idevj2\jdev\mywork\report_space\report_Project\public_html"/>
The OC4J is started. When I go to "http://localhost:8989/"
I get the 'Embedded OC4J Server' page ( so far no problem)
But which url should I call to see me own created URL?
    http://localhost:8989/report_space-report_Project-webapp/my_jsp??

    JP

    yo,
You should look in the file "default-web-site.xml"
-go to the line "<web-app application="current-workspace-app""
-take the value of the root: root="/report_space-report_Project-context-root"/
    call following url: http://localhost:8989/report_space-report_Project-context-root/my_jsp

  • Cfc page not found

I'm trying to binding cfgrid with a cfc but result in "Error Invoking somecfcomponent.cfc : Object not Found [...]".
I then access that somecfcomponent.cfc from the URL (i.e. http://someserver/somecfcomponent.cfc") result in page not found.
somecfcomponent.cfc is placed in the root directory. Root directory is c:\mywebsite\, thus http://someserver is pointing to c:\mywebsite.
I been googling and people suggest that I need to do something with cfmapping? Been trying but to no prevail.

  • Using WEB Output HTML Gallery and uploading using ftp upload the HTML page views correctly but images only display the alt tag?

Using WEB Output HTML Gallery and uploading using ftp upload the HTML page views correctly but images only display the alt tag in the browser window?

After a little investigation, I discovered that PNGs also do not render correctly in IE7 in similar circumstances.
I ended up using Levels in Photoshop to bring the output blacks up to "5", saved the images as PNGs, modified the HTML from .jpg to .png, and that seems to have covered up the problem well enough.
By the way, I did confirm that IE8 beta 2 renders the images correctly.

  • APEX Upload file feature resulting in 404 Page Not Found error

    Hi,
I have a page where the user selects the local file to upload and submits it to another page. It has been working fine for the last few years. Yet recently when there's a submit with the file for upload, it says "404 page not found" regardless of which page it branches to. If I leave the file upload field blank, it doesn't have that problem.
    Any advice? Thanks.

    Hi,
have a look at http://www.inside-oracle-apex.com/oracle-apex-got-404-not-found-2/ to get the reason of the 404 error. If you are using the Embedded PL/SQL Gateway (EPG) have a look at the comments where I link to a description what you have to do for EPG.

  • IWeb published "page not found"

I've created a site in iWeb 2, published to a folder on my desktop & uploaded it to A Small Orange's web servers using Cyberduck. But when I try to view the site with either Safari or Firefox, I get the dreaded "404 page not found" message.
Tech support at A Small Orange is not especially helpful & said "The problem is that your index.html redirects to a file welcome.php in the RobertsFine_ArtPrints folder. the welcome.php files does not exist."
I asked what can be done about this & they said "If the files were generated by IWeb then you need to ask them why your files are not setup properly.
Im sorry but there is no way that we can give you code that we do not have. This issue lays with your your site is coded."
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
    Thanks,
    Robert

I replied only to Ethmoid's response not to the entire thread, as I should have. My bad.
Here's my reply to your replies:
I uploaded the folder Robert Wells Fine Prints, which contained both the index.html file and the Robert Wells Fine Prints folder created by iWeb when I published. In Cyberduck, I uploaded them to the public_html on Small Oranges servers.
I uploaded the whole RWFP folder created by iWeb all at one time.
Ethmoid asked: "How did you manage to get a php file when iWeb does not support this? If you have created your site in iWeb, you welcome page should be Welcome.html and nothing like php."
I have no idea how I did this, but it looks like I screwed it up pretty good. Could it have anything to do with the fact that at some point in this process (not sure when) I changed the site's name. Originally, I was going to call it Robert's Fine Art Prints, but that got changed to Robert Wells Fine Prints. Though I have no idea if this has anything to do with my current problem.
Things have gotten worse. Thinking I did something wrong & could fix the problem by re-uploading, I deleted the files from the server and tried again. Now, most of the image files are failing to upload in Cyberduck.
Chuck Usher asked "When you publish to a folder I believe you get a folder and a separate index.html file. did you up load both and address the index file? What is the site address? "
Yes, you get an index.html and a folder of supporting documents. I uploaded both at the same time. The address is supposed to be robertwellsfineprints.com but it doesn't work.
    Thoughts appreciated.

  • Overwriting old website in FTP - 404 page not found error!!! Heeelllp! :(

    Hi there,
I recently re-designed my website on Adobe Muse. It was originally designed in iWeb. For the iWeb website I used a 3rd party FTP application (Transit) to upload the site.
I wanted to overwright the old iWeb website with my new Adobe Muse website. So I deleted the files from the iWeb website on Transit, and used the inbuilt Adobe Muse FTP option to upload the new website.
Now, no matter what I do, all I get is the 404 'page not found' error when I try to visit my site.. What am I doing wrong? Are my settings on Muse incorrect? Should the site pages have a specific name? The home page that I want is titled 'selected artwork' in Muse... should that have something to do with the home directory link?
I'm so lost and frustrated! Please help!
Any help or advice would be so much appreciated!
    Cheers,
    Harriet.

    Hi Parikshit!
Thank you so much for your response!
My site is www.harrietbody.com and yes, I did change the name of my pages... I changed everything... I've asked my hosting people to reset my account with them because I think I may have made a mistake deleting everything from the old website...
I will try exporting as HTML and uploading with Transit and see how I go...
I'm sorry if this is a really silly question, but how do I check if I'm uploading to the correct directory? I have a feeling this is where my problem is... how do I know which directory I am uploading to?
    Thank you again!
    Harriet.

  • Applying changes to report queries results in HTML 404 page not found

    Hello,
When I try to change report queries (especially by using multiple queries) I frequently get HTML 404 page not found.
This happens when I click Apply Changes after I edited the query, but also quite often just when I try to confirm the changes in the query.
When I logout and then login again, after a few tries, I finally succeed.
