Javadoc out of files with extensions jpd/jws/ejb/jcx

Hi,
I see lot of messages on this newsgroup for javadoc help (unfortunately without any reply with solution except temporarily changing extension to .java).
I am facing the same problem of creating javadoc out of jpd/jws/ejb/jcx or .work file itself.
Can anyone please guide me?

What do you mean "just like a java file"? Does it contain class, constructor, method and field declarations? Javadoc comments are interpreted only ahead of these declarations.
The javadoc tool is limited to java source files. It's pretty much a precondition of the javadoc tool that a source file must be able to be compiled by the javac compiler. Javadoc uses parts of javac to parse the source file and build a doc structure, using javac internal data structures. If your files cannot be compiled by javac, they are unlikely to be parsed by the javadoc tool (though there are exceptions for Java source files that have compiler errors). Javadoc tool also looks for the ".java" extension on files.

It redirects me to www.sun.com, and from there a series of steps begins. Then at one stage it says "Click here for download". I click this, but what is this. I am told that I have been LOGGED OUT! I tried downloading from different computers and with different accounts, but the same result.
I think that the source files download has been discontinued by Sun.
Can you actually try downloading the source files from this link and let me know the status?

Pssssst.... Barbarian is trying to be much more reasonable, he is asking me to download a zip de-compression utility for Linux, but I am the kind of person who prefers to climb up the mountain rather that try to get around it. In any case if anyone asks me in a job interview how would you build the javadocs for Linux, what do I tell them, decompress the zip file on Linux!

This might be simple but it works well for me.
1.
Right click on the tool bar in IE8 and uncheck adobe PDF to disable. Click yes when it ask if you are sure.
2.
Open Adobe
READER located in the start menu.
3.
Click on Edit and then on Preferences.
4.
Select the "General" category.
5.
Click on "Select default PDF handler"
6.
Adobe Reader should be already selected. Change it to reader if it is not.
7.
Click on "Apply" and except changes.
8.
Restart the computer and you are done.
Now you can open and save PDF's from IE8. Once you save it, you can right click and "open with" Acrobat if you choose.
Be careful to not make Acrobat the default or you have to start over.
You can still create PDF's from docs, scans, and picture like before. You might think this is a work around but it really isn't.
Some forms that are available on the internet can't be opened by Acrobat for security reasons.

Photoshop wont let me save files with Extensions...

Photoshop isn't letting me save my files with extensions any more. It's only saving files as copy's and I have to add the extensions manually. This happened around the time I updated to OSX maverics, and is driving me crazy as it is extremely time consuming. I'm using CS5 version. Please Help!!

Thankyou! That worked to fix the file extensions part of the problem. I had somehow changed it to "never "instead of "always".
I'm still having the error message problem that photoshop is forcing me to save the file as a copy though. See the attached photo for the error message I'm receiving.

Preview program stoped to open files with extension .JPG

When open the files with the extension ".jpg" Preview program opens a gray window and everything, but in the information window shows the photo. In what could be the problem?

anything that is intermittent - and thus, non-reproducable - is a nightmare to troubleshoot and fix. From what little evidence there is, I would almost think of some third factor - other software? - that may be in play. maybe someone with more expertise can help...

Out put file with three extra blank line

i am snding some article data from sap to ftp location.from proxy class the internal table has all correct record .but in the out put file three blank line is coming with all the record at the end.
i have the following cc parameter
File.fieldNames Trans_type,Transfer_no,SrcSt_no,DestST_no,LPN_No,Transfer_date
File.fieldFixedLengths 1,30,10,10,10,8
then i added
File.endSeparator '0'.
but still 3 blank line is coming in the output file.
please suggest somthing.

Why are you using File.endSeparator '0'. ?
Are you sure your input data doesn't have those 3 blank records in the end? Check the message payload in the sxmb_moni transaction.

Original application file with extension .flc not opening

hi,
I have got an requirement from my end user for DMS. He operates a software named FLOW LOGIC CONTROL, from there he generates a document with extension .flc.
I am able to check in the docuemnt in DIR, but when I try to access the same through DIR, it does not open.
I have defined work station application as FLC with file format as .flc and application (path and programme name) as %AUTO% for Define work station application in network in customizing.
Do I need to define application other then %AUTO% ? If so what it will be?
I have tried to open same file through DIR on the desktop where the software is running, but there also I could not open original application file.
Kindly help me resolving the issue.

The filed which I mentioned to You mentions the Path of the application which is used to display or change the Original Alpplication file.
example.
If you want to change or display Word document that you have checked in the content server, when you say display the system find the path where this Program ( eg. WINWORD.Exe ) .
eg Path C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\WINWORD.exe
Check in your PC this Path.Whenever you open a word document it uses this path for winword.exe to process word document.
So in your case the program may be installed in your PC or on some anather Computer.If its on your local machine the Mention * %AUTO%
If 2D or 3D Document mention it as suggested earlier reply.( I Think in your case a Engineering document is getting generated.And it must be 2D or 3D doucment. ).
If your program in on anather machine then give path name of that program.
Please press F1 in the field * Path with program Name * to check the help for possible entries.This will help you to solve the problem.

I have two radio buttons ex: R1 and R2 and three Fields Ex: Vendor, User Name and Password.
When I select R1 Vendor field should be Visible and when I select R2 Vendor field should be invisible.
I created one attribute of type WDUI_VISIBILITY and binded in Visbility property of Vendor field.
On action of R1 I am setting attribute value as Visible using Set_attribute method and On Action of R2 I am setting BLANK in Set_attribute method. But somehow I am unable get the solution......

HT4769 How to open a FULL HD video file with extension .mpeg2 in Final Cut Pro X ?

I would like to know How to Import or Open a Video FULL HD in Final Cut Pro X or Final Cut Pro 7.0.3 . . . I only can Open a HD video but not a FULL HD.
May need some codec ??? May some setup . . .
Whithout info , I have to RECODE a file to downgrade resolution . . . using a software like a Hand Brake to CONVERT to another extension like .mov, m4p, mkv, etc . . .
Same problem occur with a " iMovie " software comming with OS Lion . . .
So, why ?
Double work . . . double file occupied in hard drive . . . lost time !

The Spatial Conform is one of the things I tried. Unfortunately none of its settings fixed the aspect ratio. When I choose "Fit", it simply shows it as 4:3 and leaves left and right black borders on a 16:9 timeline. When I choose "Fill", it zooms the 4:3 video and chops off the top and bottom parts.

This is a decent workaround. Fortunately my clips are named in such a way that I can easily drop them all in the timeline and do a Command-F (Find) to search by clip name, highlight all of them in the search results, then use the Inspector to modify the properties of all the clips at once. I have to change X-scale to 133% and Spatial Conform to "Fit", and now at least it fits the 16:9 timeline properly.
Thanks to both replies. I still hope Apple adds a way to fix the clip in the Event browser so that I don't have to do this workaround.

Generating RSS Feeds using files with extension .xml

Apologies if this is not the correct forum - please redirect me if necessary.
I am trying to create an .xml file to upload to my server allowing me to generate rss feeds on my web site. If i understand correctly (I am a beginner webmaster) for my RSS feed to be valid, the first line must read for example '<?xml version="1.0" ?>
<rss version="0.91"> which is the case in my document until I save it! When I try to save the text file as .xml MAC OSX treats it as a Word File. I have tried saving as .txt with the same result. Trying to change the extension once the file has been uploaded to my server doesn't work either - the RSS feed validators still pick the document up as a Word file.

Might drop it on FileWiz and see if it has a Type/Creator code.
