Jtapi Resync

Can anyone tell me how long agents will be down when I do a Jtapi Resync in CCX 9.1? I updated CCM to 9.1.2 (SU1) and didn`t know that I had to do the Jtapi Resync. Now when accessing CCX admin page getting error message telling me they are out of sync.

I don't think you're going to get a good answer on this, I would allocate between 15-30 minutes to be safe, in my experience less than 100 agents will take a few minutes.

  • Cisco Unified CCX - JTAPI Resync

    Hi all,
Quick question. Our CCX Admin page is telling us we need to resync JTAPI after a CUCM upgrade. Can this be done in a live environment or will there be downtime involved?
    Thanks in advance,

  • IPCCX jtapi, add cluster and trigger error

    hi,
during the installation of ipccx (HA deployment) i found difficulty in adding the cluster and making the trigger. on start it gave me the error of jtapi resync.when i tried to resync it it gave me error (jtapiresyncerror1.jpeg).so i tried to resync it manually by stoping the crs node manager and installing the jtapi client for windows from ccm. but after opening the appadmin application again it gave me error of jtapi sync (jtapierror1). for clustering ipccx1 components are working but when i tried to enable the components of ipccx2 it gave me error (errorafteripccxcomponentactivation1.jpeg)..you can also see other jpegs for reference..it is showing the replication status of unkown.
then i tried to add the script and application but when i entered the trigger information it gave me error "could not update the user on unified cm" (trigerror1.jpeg)..

    hi,
I haven't tried to install only the second server.. i have time so i reinstalled both the first and second server..following was the sequence
    IPCCX installation:
1)install operating systems for first server.
2)install ipccx dvd for first server (after ipccx dvd installation initial setup window will open automatically.. no need to configure it..just close the window)
    3)install sql server..
4)now open app admin page and do initial setup..
5)install operating system for second server.
6)install ipccx devd for second server (after ipccx dvd installation initial setup window will open automatically/.. no need to configure it..just clost the window)
    7)install sql server
8)now open app admin page of second server and do initial setup..
    hope that it helps..

When i loggin on CCX i have error "The Cisco JTAPI  Client versions are inconsistent.  Please go to Cisco JTAPI Resync in  the Unified CM Telephony Subsystem to install the Cisco JTAPI Client". When i press OK, i get on the empty page. I downloaded and installed JTAPI client from CCM. Situation has not changed yet.
How i can fix this problemm?
    Thank's in advance.

    Hi,
From the document:crscomtx.pdf "Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (Cisco Unified CCX) Software and Hardware Compatibility Guide", the version of CCM is not compatible with your version of UCCX.
Your CUCM should be one of the following list:

  • Phone problems after upgrade from 8.5 to 9.0

    Hi everyone,
I upgraded our UCCX cluster last week from 8.5 to 9.0, and ever since then I've been getting reports of delays when answering a call (up to ~10 seconds). I also have one user that reports not being able to hangup at the end of a call (has to wait for the customer to terminate the call). Any ideas?
    CUCM Version: 9.1.1.20000-5
    UCCX Version: 9.0.2.11001-24
Also, I have ran the JTAPI resync to ensure that wasn't the issue.

Thanks for the input guys, but it ended up being a weird problem resulting from extension mobility. When I upgraded the cluster, I forgot to deactivate extension mobility, and this apparently confused CUCM. Our agents use extension mobility in order to allow for moving between physical phones and IP communicator, and the CDA records showed call transfers from the CCX being routed through the subscriber (which is at a remote WAN site) before reaching the phones using extension mobility. Deactivating the service on the entire cluster, rebooting the cluster, and then reactivating the service fixed the issue.

  • Missing work flow grups after ugrade cad from 8.5 to 10

    Hi everyone,
we have upgraded CAD from 8.5 to 10 (as well as the entire UCCE),
and after that all work flow groups are missing (except default)!
    does anyone had this problem?
    some hint where to look?
    Thanks,
    Lazar

Did you upgrade the JTAPI client on UCCX?  If not, log into UCCX and goto Subsytem > Cisco Unified CM Telephony > Cisco JTAPI Resync.  Warning: this requires a restart.

  • UCCX 7 applications take too long to be triggered

    Hi all,
I am having a uccx cluster with a couple of scripts in it. Every thing used to work fine but now i am having two problems :
1- My script apllications take to long to be triggered. I mean when I call the jtapi trigger of my application it rings up to 10 seconds before getting my application triggered
2- I created new applications with new jtapi trigger but I am failing to get my CTI route point registered with CCM.
    Please advise.
    Best Regards

I have the same problem as decribe in 1. Its begin after CCM cluster hang up and was rebooted. I tried JTAPI resync, it's not help for me. I also tried install last update on CCX, but it's not help .When I opened Real Time Monitoring tool and chose Report - Contacts,  I see what my call appears here quickly but in Task fild value appears only after some time.  Time is different, sometimes it's 1 sec, but sometimes it's reach 20 sec. Is the problem in CCX or in CCM, what you think?

  • Add new trigger and the Enabled status is false

Hello,    I'm very new to Cisco and UCCX.    We have version 8.5.1 CME         I added a new trigger but the enabled status is false.    thanks, Dan

    Hi Dan,
What is your deployment UCCX with CME or UCCX with CUCM?
JTAPI Resync and Data Resyn operation come in UCCX with CUCM deployment. JTAPI Resyn opeation does JTAPI client sync between CUCM and UCCX, and Data Resyncoperation syncs the Application User, Route Points, CTI ports between CUCM and UCCX..
UCCX and CME sync\check operation checks the consitent data between UCCX and CME and falgs the inconsistent data in Red colour.
Please try performing during the maintainance hours.
    Thanks,
    Anand

  • CCX 8.0.2 no longer plays holiday greetings

                       Hello All,
I have CCX express with an acd that I am having intermittent problems with the closed holiday prompt.
I verified the holiday format "02/17/14" when I set up the Christmas and New Years holidays. These both worked. But over presidents day it will
no longer go to the closed holiday greeting on the date in question. I do see the system shows partial service under "Cisco Unified Telephony subsystem"
I did a "system utils restart" no joy, then I did a data and Jtapi resync. without error.
It basically stopped working. Not sure where to start as I am totally new to CCX.
    Any reply appreciated.

You've come to the right place for this kind of help; however, there's still a small possibility you may be running into a defect, and will likely need the assistance of Cisco TAC (software patch).
Ok, for starters, do you know how to test this failure on demand?  Do you know how to reactive debug a phone call in the editor?  If yes and yes, then can you modify the Play Prompt step so that it does not continue on prompt errors and then reactive debug a test call to see what pop up error message it shows you?
If you don't know how, here's a few steps to follow:
Open and log into the editor
File > Open > Repository > Default > (to open the script in question)
Right click the Play Prompt step, select Properties
Goto the second tab (Prompt) and set Continue on Prompt Errors to False
Click OK to close the Properties dialog
    Click Save (File > Save)
Login to UCCX AppAdmin (the web page where you administer UCCX)
Go to Applciations > Application Management
Click the refresh icon next to your Application
Back to the editor and setup a reactive debug (CTRL+Shift+R) for your script (timeout can be 30 sec)
Place a call into the Trigger for your application
In the editor Press F10 to step over each step one by one until you get to the Play Prompt step (it may not even error)
If you can, can you supply us with the value in your Play Prompt step's Prompt tab's Prompt input field?  Then, can you show us a screenshot of your Prompt repository confirming that the prompt exists?  Lastly, can you upload the prompt here so we can hear it?
Another option...there's 100 ways to skin this cat...
Create a brand new blank script, app, and trigger and simply put these steps in the script to just focus on the failed prompt:
StartAccept (--Triggering Contact--)Play Prompt (--Triggering Contact--, P[yourholidaypromptname])Terminate (--Triggering Contact--)End
    Post back.  Good luck.

  • Unable to resync dataguard

    Hi everybody!
I have a problem. Some weeks ago I opened a post related to this issue. We have two dataguards with dataguard broker. One of them is resync (thanks to mseberg and this forum) and now I have problems with the other.
Once I have learned how to configure and start/stop dataguard broker, I have a more basic problem, which is to resync it. I follow a process, where I backup the primary with RMAN, I copy the rman files to the other server with the controlfile, at once, I recover with rman again.
The problem is that it is too big, 2 hours for backing it up more or less, and when I restore it, no archivelog list appears being syncronized.
I have followed the same process than the other one and I can't resync it. I think there is something at my params or something new at 11g version...

  • How do I resync a song manually deleted on iPhone with 'swipe to delete'?

I accidently deleted a song while browsing music on my iPhone (with the swipe to delete function) and now I am not able to resync the song back onto the phone even though it's still happily there in iTunes on my iMac.
I've tried explicitly adding it to a playlist that enforces a sync to the iPhone and I can actually see iTunes telling me that it's syncing it to the phone, however it still doesn't show up when on the phone - so I guess the iPhone is somehow remembered the delete operation and is hiding it from me?
Does anyone know how I might get this song showing back up on my iPhone???
    Any help greatly appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Andy

It depends on which country that you are in as to whether you can re-download it - it's not currently possible in all countries (what you can re-download, and where, is listed on this page). If you can re-download music then it should appear in the Purchased section under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes, and the Purchased tab at the bottom of the iTunes app on the iPad : re-downloading

    Any feedback/guidance appreciated!!

    Hi,
You may need to update command w32tm /config /syncfromflags:domhier /update, to change the IntranetServer w32time type to nt5ds (this sets the service to pull from the AD).
For more detailed information, please refer to the thread below:

  • CUCM 8.6.2 and JTAPI problems

    Hello,
Following many threads regarding JTAPI errors, data sync, and so on (eg: https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/3566010#3566010 , https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2090094) , I'm wondering if this catastrophic bug CSCuf44112 could be the root cause for these errors. Not only UCCX errors but also other applications involving CTI (Voice Recording, CUPC/Jabber in control deskphone mode).
It's difficult to fully understand what's written and the possible consequences.
Help to decrypt would be appreciated.
