Jumps to previous page both within current application and other applications

when using any application, facebook, banking, etc it jumps back to previous pages both in and out of the application. Ex will go back to home or sign in then out of application and back to previous application without prompting. Started after last firefox update and just in facebook games now has spread to everything including when I tried to use Explorer. Started infrequently now is so frequent cannot use system.

In addition when within farmville on facebook this box pops up:

Yes, I can find it on my Application folder.
When I try to relaunch it, it says,"Mac OS X and other applications are not affected. Click relaunch to launch the application again. Click Report to see more details or send a report to Apple."

Accessing / communication between VM1 and VM2 both within a CS and within a VNET

Hi,
I have been trying to access one VM from another VM both within a CS and within a VNET. Let me summarise all that I have done in the last couple of days.
I have VM1 and VM2 in the same CS and same VNET. I have disabled windows firewall in both the vms for testing purpose. VM1 internal IP Address is 10.0.0.4. VM2 internal IP Address is 10.0.0.5. Both VM1 and VM2 are pingable from each other.
VM1 runs my own virtual device network I created using one of our virtual device tools. The IP range of the virtual devices is 10.0.0.6 to 10.0.0.13 When I ping from VM1 itself all the .6 to .13 virtual devices are pingable. [Additionally, I installed asset
scanner in vm1 itself and was able to scan .6 to .13 successfully and ping successfully].
VM2 also runs a asset scan software. I open a cmd and route add as follows:
>route ADD 10.0.0.0 MASK 255.255.255.0 10.0.0.4
where 10.0.0.0 is the target network which would include 10.0.0.6 to 10.0.0.13. 10.0.0.4 is the gateway.
Now, I go to the asset scan [running in VM2 with internal ipaddress 10.0.0.5]. From its web client I initiate a asset scan giving the IP range as 10.0.0.6 to 10.0.0.13. the software is not able to detect/discover the virtual devices .6 to .13 [the virtual devices
running in vm1] Why?
From this vm2, I pinged 10.0.0.6, no response. I pinged 10.0.0.7 no response.... 10.0.0.13 no response.
HOWEVER, we created the above scenario using 2 physical servers in our LAN and it all worked fine.
Where/what am I missing?

Hi,
The ICMP traffic is blocked by the Azure load balancer and the ping requests timeout.
Note that while this applies to network traffic going through the external IP (VIP) through configured endpoints, ICMP is not blocked when connecting through an Azure virtual network gateway or ExpressRoute. Also, ICMP will work between internal IPs of VMs
in the same virtual network or in the same cloud service.
To test connectivity, we instead recommend that you do a port ping. While Ping.exe uses ICMP, other tools such as PsPing, Nmap, or Telnet allow you to test connectivity to a specific TCP port.

I am new to this platform.I have a basic doubts that whats the difference between developing application in flex as a web application and desktop application from programming point of view?Can we use same code in both cases?

Hi and welcome,
The main difference between a web application and a desktop application is that web applications do not have access and can't manipulate your local system ( you can't open a window that displays all your local files, you can't delete, rename, edit local files and so on ). Obviously, this is just one difference, there are many more ( the best would be if you google for "web aplication vs desktop application" because the same rules apply for 99% if not all the platforms you can find out there ).
Desktop applications can have full control of your local system ( obviously, we have to take in consideration the platform we are using because since AIR is quite new in the desktop application field it is also more limited than other languages that have been used successfully to create desktop applications for years and year; like ce C# or C++ and so on ).
Another important difference is that desktop applications usually need to be installed in order to function where on the other hand, web applications can run in the browser without you having to install the aplication you are about to view on your computer ( in some cases, like of the Flash and Flex platforms, you only require a "special player" that can display the content you are trying to access... for Flash and Flex applications you need the Flash Player installed for your browser ).
So, before jumping into a project/platform you need to know your target. If you goal is to offer a fast, easy to access and no install required application to your users then you'll usually go with a web application. If your application needs to work with local files, maybe local databases, or it needs more control over the user's PC and so on, then you'll most likely go with a desktop application.

Single Sign on using SAML between JWS application and Web Application

We have two applications one is swing based Java Web Start application and other is a normal web application. We are trying to enable single sign on between both the applications. Can SAML be used to enable single sign on? If yes, can some one let us know how to do this?

Thanks. But it is based on two WEB applications deployed on two different weblogic domains. What I am looking for is one application which is launched using Java Web Start(JNLP) and other a web application. The Java Web Start application uses its proprietary authentication implementation and the web application used DefaultAuthenticator of weblogic. Hope this detail will help you to answer my question better. I should have given this information earlier.

When to use WEb Dynpro application and Portal application in NW dev studio

I would like to know what is the difference between
webdynpro application and EP Application using PDK.
Are they comaparable ...Which one has an edge over the other specific to any applications.
I want develop an application related to e-commerce using the SAP R3 as backend for an industiry(where in a registered user can place an order and query on the staus of order. All the data will be stored in R3 ).
I am planning to dev this using NW dev studio , but have an appehension about which application is useful for this kind of application either webdynpro or EP application .
can anybody explain which one has edge over the other ( Webdynpro or EP applcations in context with NW Dev studio) and why.

Webdynpro is used when requirements ask for a prototype using minimal time n effort.
Highly skilled programmers are not necessary to write a webdynpro application
It uses dynamic controls without reloading the page.
Portal components esp Abstract portal component provides a lean method to write HTML command to web client
Large interactive components requires more programming.
WebDynpro is a highly declarative, tool-based programming model. It minimizes platform-dependent "plumbing" code for building UIs and maximizes declarative metadata describing huge portions of a typical application in a platform-independent way.
Web Dynpro follows a "top-down" approach in order to consistently support multiple runtime platforms.
In Web Dynpro you just have to drag & drop the UI components.
Portal components has followed a "bottom-up", programming-driven approach to Web development.

Your location is determined from a location database which contains the MAC addresses of routers and their physical location. A MAC address is a unique number which is built-in to all network devices when manufactured. The database is built and updated by actually driving around and mapping router locations.
Since you just moved the location of your router has not been updated in the database and when you use Maps you will see your old location.
If you go outside your house you can be correctly located because your iPod sees other routers which are in the location database. Note that you do not need to be connected to a router for your iPod to see it and obtain its MAC address.

Reinstalled 10.7.3 from the Combo Updater from apples website.
The only way to reinstall the Mac OS X or repair the startup disk running v10.7.3 Lion, is to use Lion Recovery The combo update does not do that.
How much free space on the startup disk? Not enough free space can account for the problems with your apps.
Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon. Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available. Make sure there's a minimum of 15% free disk space.
and no web-pages will load.
Try using OpenDNS as suggested here > Safari 5.0.1 or later: Slow or partial webpage loading, or webpage cannot be found

I will address your second question.
First, make sure your iPhone and iPad have absolutely identical Apple IDs. If they do, use that Apple ID in Settings > iCloud on your iPhone to select the "Notes" option. Lo and behold, all your iCloud notes should appear on your iPhone.

HELP! Finder and other applications keep crashing after application install

Okay, this was probably not a good idea considering I did not read that it was only for snow leopard... but I downloaded the Metalik theme from Julien Sagot's webpage (http://juliensagot.com/). Now, when I logged out and logged back into my account, I see that Finder keeps quitting and relaunching itself. Safari and other applications do the same thing. I cannot open any files or webpages!! (I am writing this on my other computer, haha)
What is happening!? How can I fix this and return my computer to normal?

Boot the machine into safe mode, holding down the Shift key. If that's successful, delete the nonsensical stuff you installed and try a normal boot.

COM Interop but have no idea where to start. I am assuming I would develop a class library in VS2013 and then package the assembly for COM. Any good sample projects on this out there?
