Just downloaded beta 4 and get a msg saying does not work on this architecture, I'm on a Mac Powerbook G4 running OS 10.5.8. Can I somehow uninstall and go back to the latest version, without losing all my stored data (bookmarks, etc.) if so how?
That's about it. Whenever I try to launch the beta version I get the won't run on this architecture message.
Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.
You can re-install Firefox 3.6.15 and it will automatically use your existing bookmarks.

I hope someone can help me. I know this question has been asked in various formats but I can't seem to find exactly what I am looking for, so please forgive me if this type of question is asked again.
My laptop was stolen a few months ago and I have finally been able to replace it. The common issue of course is that I can only sync it to one iTunes library at a time, which was on my laptop that some thief is currently enjoying the use of.
I don't have a lot of money so all of my backups were on the stolen laptop as I don't have an external hard drive. I understand you can authorize iTunes or the iPhone to go on upto 5 computers at a time?
As soon as I plugged in my phone (on the new laptop) I created a backup of everything on there using iTunes. I guess my question is, if I plug in my iphone and ask it to restore from back up, will it wipe the phone and replace it with the first back up on the new laptop or will it still delete everything altogether as the original content is not on the new laptop?
As much as it would be a pain, the music content is the least of my concern. It's more a case of making sure I keep my contacts, photos and purchases from the app store. I have read somewhere that you can transfer your purchases but I'm not sure how to do this.
I really hope someone can help and apologies for the repeat topic!

Question: I have changed my Pple ID. However The PPS Store insists that the cancelled ID is me, and trying to change either the name or password is an endless circle. The email account name I previously used was, I believe, hacked so I terminated the email account. So, apple no longer shows it.

I just downloaded a song and it only plays the first 50 seconds and then moves to the next song in the list. How can I get it to play the rest of the song?
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

Since my update I am no longer able to scroll between the footnotes. I have to klick on each one to change something. That is unbearable since I have to write a lot of academic texts which usally have a ton of different footnotes. I also can not copy some of my old texts into the new version without losing the footnotes or having them in the middle of my text. Does anyone know a trick or if apple will change that for good? I just purchased an iTunes TV show and it successfully downloaded. It is now saying that I do not have the proper version of QuickTime on this version of iTunes (10.6.3).

In the past, if I didn't have all of the tabs opened, or just opened a new window, the page would still be in a tab if I opened up new tabs. Now, if I hit the "+", I get a tab. I can't get back to the original page without closing all of the tabs.

Can't get my Music off of my iPhone 4...

Help...The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Transfer Purchases
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to move everything to your new computer. -

Copy all the content on your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes. Then go ahead and sync the iPod with your new library.

If you are on Mavericks (your profile says different) and using Pages 5.0 you should have Pages 09 in the Applications > iWork 09 folder.

I have just downloaded Firefox 4 and my autofill on the google toolbar is not working for any webpages it previously worked with. Is there a way to fix this? ThanksCrap. That's what I was afraid of...Well, since I'm away from home and not near my pc, it sounds like I'm out of luck. The problem is that I need my phone to be at least functional for making and receiving calls. There's an apple store nearby. Perhaps I can go there and have them restore it and at least I'll be able to make and receive calls until I get home and restore from my backup. Does that sound feasible, or am I missing something?
