You must be signed into the mobile iTunes Store using the same Apple ID you used to originally purchase iTunes Match. On the iOS device go to Settings > iTunes and App Stores and tap the Apple ID. Log out, then log in with the correct ID.

If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked. I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed. eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money. I just got an Iphone and I am trying to get my Itunes music as my ringtone. I already got an app and made a ringtone. I even got the tones tab to appear in my Itunes library. I cannot however get a tones tab to appear on my Iphone sync area. Also I cannot get any of my ringtones into the tones folder. They are no longer than 30 seconds so that is not the problem. Any ideas?
Does this app not provide a video on how to sync it with itunes and then sync it to your phone.
If you have transfer the ringtone to your computer, play the ringtone - then it should move to your tones folder in itunes. Just make sure when you play the ringtone it's plays in itunes. -
Can multiple iPhones share one iTunes without syncing the phones together? We just got new iPhones and set up seperate apple id's, but don't know if we can both sync to our existing iTunes without linking our phones together (contacts, apps, etc) ????

I had the same problem too.
Yes, you can go apply for a new AppleID, which would be <your account>@icloud.com.
Then put this new AppleID into the icloud account field.
After this action, you will not be seeing the same contacts and appointments.
But for the itunes store, you still can use the same AppleID so that you can share purchases.
My wife and I use separate icloud accounts, and then we use a 3rd appleid for our itunes store. This allowed us to have separate contacts but still share itune purchases. -

Thanks for your timeDo you both sync to the same computer or have separate computers? If separate, my recommendation is to set up individual apple IDs and then use home sharing if you want to share music or apps or other content. I don't think you HAVE to though.

Csoud1 is correct. But if you still want to keep your iTunes Match subscribed and did not want to sync with your iOS devices, do the following:

I just got the iPhone 5s, I have had a 4 for the last few years, my husband uses a galaxy. I have never had issues with any of our phones connecting to the cars Bluetooth until this one sometimes it will connect and sometimes it won't. I drive a gm car. A friend of mine drives an Acura and said she is also having the same problem? I have to connect the phone every time I get in the car.

That's consistent with another application (other than QuickTime) having dropped old QuickTime componentry in non-standard locations on the PC.
So we'll go looking for the older QuickTime componentry in the most common locations for it to be stashed.
First we'll need to change some view options on the PC.
1. Open My Computer from the desktop or Start menu.
2. In the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
3. Click the View tab.
4. In the "Advanced settings" pane under "Hidden files and folders" make sure that the "Show hidden files and folders" option is selected, and the "Hide extensions for known file types" option is unchecked.
5. Click OK.
Now in My Computer, open your C drive.
Open the "Windows" folder.
Open the "system32" folder.
What files and/or folders can you see in there with QuickTime in the file/folder name? (In a standard installation of QuickTime, you should see precisely two files ... QuickTime.qts and QuickTimeVR.qtx ... and no QuickTime folders whatsoever.) -
I recently rented a movie in itunes (John Carter) and tried to move it to ipod but got message that it's not compatible. Why did this happen as I haven't had problem before and can I get my money back?
Are you sure you don't have a 5G iPod video? If so, rented movies are not compatible with that particular generation/model of iPod.
Otherwise, it sounds like the rental is in HD. It should have came with a Standard Definition version instead.
