Just purchased CS6 Illustrator - after 30 days trial -
but then just keeps crashing, everytime after few minutes launched
+ I read fontbook issue but Fontbook says there is no dupe fonts
+ I read about deleting Preferences but which Preference files? (no exact names are mentioned)
+ Or folders?

You may see the instructions about preferences (folder) in 3) and 4) in the list below; and it may be worth looking through 5), too.
You may try the following (you may have tried/done some of them already) and see whether it helps (the following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file; 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences):
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC, and reinstall.

Just purchased CS6 bundle, what should I do with CS5.5?
I have PS C5.1, DWC5.5 from work installed on my home iMac. I've just purchased CS6 Production Bundle for personal use...should I 'uninstall, delete, or whatever the older Adobe programs before I install new CS6? I don't want any conflicts in future. Also, new CS6 is Student/Teacher if this if of any interest. Thanks in advance for suggestions.

I just purchased CS6 and downloaded onto the new iMac I just bought. I cannot get it to open. I think I may have purchased a windows version in error. When I clicked on "DesignStandard_CS6_LS16.exe I am told the application can't open because Microsoft Windows applications are not supported on OS X. Does anyone know how to contact Adobe directly? I keep going around and around on their site and have found no e-mail or phone number to contact them to get this straightened out. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks so much out there for any assistance!

I just purchased a MacBookPro after having a MacBook. I have ILife, IWorks and Office for Mac. How do I get those programs on to my MacBook Pro? I will still use my MacBook at work so I need those programs to remain on it as well.
You need a Firewire cable to run between the two Macs. Using Utility>Migration Assistant running on your new MacBook Pro, transfer what you want (with all the preferences and such) from your MacBook to your MBP. Here's more info from Apple.
You might have an issue with the Serial number for Office, but hopefully you have that around.

Why does the trial version keep crashing? I can barely get to add media then it crashes.
It is possible your machine is not compatible with whatever trial software you are having a problem with.

I just installed i tunes 11 and it keeps crashing everytime i try and play a movie, anyone else having trouble with i tunes 11 crashing. I have an early 2009 imac running lion.

There may be an explanation for what you have run into.
On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 11 running? Windows 8 or 8.1? And, are you exporting to MPEG2.mpg file and playing that back on Windows Media Player? If that is the case, please download and install the VLC player

and let us know if the export plays back video and audio on that player.
If this is the known Microsoft MPEG2 Windows Media Player issue, then explore Publish+Share/Computer/ opportunities other than MPEG or use the VLC player instead of Windows Media Player for the playback of the MPEG2.mpg exports.

I just purchased a camera packaged with Adobe photoshop Elements 11. I have a mac book air- which does not have a cd drive. The package did not come with a code or anything that would provide me with another way to install photoshop that came with my camera. Is there any other way i can install this on my camera without using the provided cd or buying the software again?
That doesn't help the user with the serial code though.

My iPhone won't stay connected to my wireless. I have to keep repowering my phone and then it lasts for a few minutes until I have to reboot again. Any ideas? Anyone experienced the same?

It does not sound like a battery problem.
Try a couple of things:
1. Reset the SMC

2. Reset (if you can) the PRAM

If that does not help, delete the mouse in system preferences, turn it off, restart, and turn the mouse back on.

Just within the last week, everytime I put my music on on my iphone, it asks me to log into Itunes. If I press cancel, it keeps coming up every few minutes. Why all of a sudden is it doing this?

Since the MobileMe move I keep getting a pop-up screen that says "IDisk Conflict Resolver." I've done everything asked to "resolve" the problem but it keeps popping up every few minutes. How can I get rid of this?
Ok....so I have found a work around....if not a complete solution.
I'm not sure if deleting your music, uninstalling ITunes and reinstalling and adding your music back will actually affect it but I tried it again. Started from scratch.
I checked the box for "Manually manage music and videos"
Then I moved my music to phone via drag and drop, usually just boxing a row of albums at a time.
I went back into my Iphone and began the sync. The message popped up, "1 Item could not be synced" and the sync stopped. At that point, I just clicked sync again and it started back up again. It took a few go's but eventually I got all my music on my phone.
Ironically enough, the only songs that wouldn't sync were songs that I had actually purchased from Itunes....kinda odd
