Just something that has occurred to me, re: backing up vs. fair use

hey all,
i am just wondering if the back-ups of my itunes library count towards the fair use limits on content i have puchased from the store. ie: did a full back up last night, and was planning on another one tonight. if i delete last week's full back-up and do another one tonight, does that count as another incidence of usage?

Do you mean if it counts towards a computer authorization for your iTunes account?

If all of that stuff checks out - and iTunes is telling you that the apps have been downloaded to the iPad - try this.
Connect your iPad to your computer and launch iTunes. Right click on your iPad name on the left side of iTunes under devices and select Transfer Purchases from the pop up menu. Then sync with iTunes again. Don't eject the iPad yet. If you still don't see the apps on the iPad - click on the Apps Tab in the iTunes window on the right and see if they show up on any of the iPad screens. If they do - make sure that all of the apps are selected (checked) to sync - (checkmarks in the boxes next to the app names) - check to make sure that the Sync Apps heading is checked and as well and then sync again. You may have to click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes if the apps were not selected to sync.

No, I made sure nothing was checked for that section when i found out he could see my screen. At the top it says "computers on your local network can access your computer at: blah blah". I think thats how hes doing it but i dont know how to fix it.

In addition to Niel's comments, if you plan to use Time Machine to backup a Mac to the secondary drive.....that application needs a drive that has been specifically formattted for Mac. That would be Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
PCs can also read and write to the Mac formatted drive.

First thing is to install Service Pack 6 which you can get from the download page by clicking on BusinessObjests tab above and then downloads on the left...
When you close your viewer be sure to add/have Youreportobject.close and Youreportobject.Dispose. Adding a GC.Collect may help also.

I am using a macbook pro with system 10.6.8. I just discovered that no recent files have been backed up to the external disk using Time Capsule. There is a long list of backups including most recent but no recent files, for some weeks, have been backed up. I did a full reset of Time Machine. I disconnected the external drive and reconnected it. It is not a matter of file types, no files and no folders have gotten backed up. Everything looks normal though unless one goes hunting for recent files on the back up.

Tabbing isn't working on my Firefox 3.6.10. I am pretty sure it has something to do with something that has been added, but I have no idea what. How do I find what has stopped my tabbing from working?

Your above posted system details show multiple Java Console extensions.
You can uninstall (remove) the Java Console extensions and disable the Java Quick Starter extension as you do not need them to run Java applets.

How do I stop the page from re-directing when I am searching for something? It re-directs to something that has nothing at all to do with what I was searching for

I put something in the search bar such as "making centerpieces for baby shower" or I put it into google. Then a bunch of matches come up, I click on one that looks good, but immediately it goes to "re-direct" and a web site comes up that has nothing at all to do with the search like an auto shop or something.

I would need more details for this, as you have mentioned rulers move ? Are you referring to rulers on page in design ?
You can move a guide lower down the page , ruler marks will be displayed on ruler but that will not stop you moving the guides.
What happens if you uncheck rulers from top view options ?

create a submenu movieclip that contains the additional buttons.
you can then add a listener to your main button the causes that movieclip to be added to the stage (eg, by using addChild).

So I tried the trial version but my serial number didn't work I guess because it's for a CS5.5 Web Premium product. I also tried uninstalling my current version of FB4 Standard, uninstalling CS5.5 and starting from scratch without any copies of FlashBuilder in my Applications folder and that didn't work, same error log message. I ended up reinstalling my original copy of FB4 Standard so I could continue working.
The odd thing is when I went to my MacBook Pro and uninstalled the copy of FB4 Standard I have on there and installed the CS5.5 FlashBuilder 4.5 Premium it works and started up fine. So I'm guessing there's something specific about my iMac setup that's preventing launch.
I was looking at my FB installation details, don't know if this matters but I'm running the standalone version:
